Excellent food and excellent service! Fair prices! Very friendly staff - it's a few generations of family working there.

Pineapple upside down cake. Special order it

Pedro 's has so many yummy treats. I love their turnovers, bear claws, fresh tortillas, cookies, and cakes. We special ordered a pineapple upside down cake and the cake texture was perfect and the topping delicious. It's a lighter textured cake. My husband who dislikes pineapple even loved it. They are very friendly and do take orders. If you are walking in go early as they sell out.

They have the best tortillas and BREAD! Their prices are quite reasonable too. It is a tiny place but very clean.

But I was wrong! I emailed to ask and Marcel told me not to worry. The galette Bretonne is made from buckwheat and several of the lunch entrees are also gluten-free. Huzzah! We split the galette Bretonne - a buckwheat crepe filled with ham and cheese and topped with a sunny side up egg. Savory and delicious! Next, we split the cassoulet - a duck confit leg quarter, Toulouse sausage, pork belly, and carrots nestled into a bed of white beans and herbs with a side of sourdough and French butter. Oh my word, it was fabulous! And I didn't have to share the sourdough, mwaaaahahahaha!

The place is popular, especially given very high quality of pastry products and the line is often a bit long (given so many locals/tourists stop by this place)...and simply..the place is one of the best pastry shops in Santa Fe. Parking is a little limited in their own parking lot and the shop is sort of crowded, but you can always park on a street outside (albeit some small parking fees). Overall, I really enjoyed the pastries here...although I think the drink (I got matcha latte...true, true, matcha latte isn't much of a western drink..so maybe I'm wrong to judge a restaurant by this drink) wasn't so much of my highlights. I would, definitely recommend this place for pastries for sure though!

We ordered the Breakfast Bowl and it was incredible: fresh ingredients, great portion, and packed with New Mexico flavor. This cute little coffee shop was not hard to find, it's located in a little town out of no where. As soon as I walked in, the first thing I see is the rainbow flag on the wall and I tell my son.. hey they represent your gang! :-) The next thing I notice is the rest of the cute decor. There was 2 other people in the coffee shop when we got there and shortly after others started to come in. They had a display case with a few baked goods and they have some unique flavors. I got the coffee with honey and it was quite good. It gave me a little boost in energy. I wanted a little more energy, but it did what it needed to do to get me to my next destination. The shop has several tables and thank goodness they had a restroom! Restroom was semi clean, but overall the place was clean. If I was ever in the area again, I would definitely stop here again and give this place another chance. Parking is not bad, there's not a lot of people so it was not an issue. There's other businesses nearby and I'm not sure what the day to day looks like, but it did not seem busy at all. The locals seem to like this place as it's rated pretty high. I did not get a chance to try the baked goods, but they did look delicious, if I ever come back then I would love to try that next time!
