You cannot make a bad choice at Pedro's. The tortillas are the best in town and the baked goods are an absolute treat! My favorite is the pineapple upside down cake. The service is the best. Amazing Bakery in the heart of Las Vegas, New Mexico (not Nevada). All the pastries and pies are delicious, but the cinnamon bread is to die for. If you're driving on NM highway 25 in northern New Mexico, stop at Pedro's Bakery for amazing treats you and your tummy will love. read more

It sure is easy to drop a bundle at this delicious bakery. We bought the cinnamon bread and oh boy is it yummy. Even after a few days, it was so good. We put it in the toaster, but sometimes she had to turn the toaster upside down to get it out. We also had the giant bear clause and one of the giant turnovers. This bakery is highly recommended. read more

Pedro's Bakery is the best in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and the State of New Mexico. And better than several places in the Southwest PS They also make fresh flour tortillas. Check the hours and days; they are open only during the day. read more

I travel all the way from San Diego to go to Pedro's . Ha Ha. Actually I do make it a point to load up on pastries every time I visit my daughter here in Las Vegas, NM. Pedro's Bakery is a very unassuming hole-in-the-wall bakery run by a very friendly small family. Pedro is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico and his wife is Yaqui. The family is very down to earth and passionate about their baked goodies. Everything from the cinnamon pull-apart bread to the fruit filled empanadas is outstanding! If you time it right and get the orange marmalade muffins fresh out the oven; OMG, EXQUISITE ! ! Definitely one of the BEST bakeries I've ever been to. read more

They have the best tortillas and BREAD! Their prices are quite reasonable too. It is a tiny place but very clean.

Pedro 's has so many yummy treats. I love their turnovers, bear claws, fresh tortillas, cookies, and cakes. We special ordered a pineapple upside down cake and the cake texture was perfect and the topping delicious. It's a lighter textured cake. My husband who dislikes pineapple even loved it. They are very friendly and do take orders. If you are walking in go early as they sell out. read more

Pedro's Bakery - Pineapple upside down cake. Special order it - Bakeries Near Me - Las Vegas, New Mexico

I echo everything else already said. The baked goods, tortillas, cakes and his new refrigerated selections are just beyond amazing. Be advised, do not walk in that door hungry. Everything tastes even better than they look. You'll wanna order a few of everything, and I mean everything. Like a cherry on top of a dessert his wonderful family working in the bakery are like the icing on his tres leches cake. They ensure you'll be back for more!! read more

Wow. Just wow. The food is phenomenal. All kinds of different pastries sweet breads and treats. I got a cream cheese peach danish that absolutely blew my mind. I also got a raspberry twist which was incredible. All the food was superb. But the service was also fantastic! Pedro and his son Juan are very friendly and knowledgeable, and serve with a smile. If I lived in this town I would get very fat, because I would indulge myself at Pedro's every day! read more

Okay, so you have to look through the Dutch door to see the selection. Do not let this stop you! Excellent fresh bake goods. Selection is not always complete...and they frequently sell out, but that tells you something. The cinnamon bread is to die for and makes French toast that is beyond this world. Our house guests always get that for breakfast! read more

Heaven in a small town. COVID limited the experience since I had to stand at the door but the aroma made the experience more heartbreaking. His selection was very limited at 7:00 so I just got a couple of carrot cake muffins - the GREATEST. They had real chunks of carrots and the consistency was perfect (most muffins are too sticky-more on your fingers than in your mouth. I hope to return to enjoy the full rapture when COVID is over. In the meantime, Las Vegas keep support this artist. read more

Great little bakery. Nothing fancy about the inside at all but the baked goods are fantastic. We bought a peach turnover (the pastry was just right), pecan cinnamon roll (great caramel and not overly sweet with just the right amount of cinnamon), the cream cheese danish (just as good as the other reviews said), and other assorted goodies. The cakes also looked great but couldn't get them this time when traveling through. And the owner's son manning the front counter will fully explain everything that goes into any of the baked goods, and will talk you into trying most of them!! All in a very good way! read more

Stopped here after reading positive yelp reviews and Pedro didn't disappoint. We travel all over the country and this is one of the most delicious freshest friendliest little bakeries we have come upon. We had the carrot muffin and raspberry filled empanadas, still warm and fresh out of the oven. Both were so delicious we wish we had two stomachs. We usually pass up Las Vegas and eat in Trinidad but from now on we will stop here instead! And Pedro is so nice enthusiastic and informative it is a real joy to support his business. read more

What a delightful find! We drive past Las Vegas several times a year, and this time we had a craving for something sweet. Thank you Yelp!! We so enjoyed chatting with Juan at the counter, we got his favorite: The bear claw with almond paste. It was delicious!!! So much better than some over priced over sugared Starbucks pastry. Now, good news for our taste buds, bad news for our waste lines, we know of a wonderful bakery in Las Vegas NM. And so do you! read more

Amazing pastries!!! Stopped here on our way from Texas from Colorado and we were not disappointed. The pastries were being freshly made in the back and the shop smelled amazing! The people were super nice and helpful. The young man on the register was very patient in explaining all of their pastries and their fillings. He even told us how they got their business started. This place is amazing, not just the service but the actual product. They were freshly made and still warm when we ate them. We will definitely be stopping here again in the future. read more

I was recommended to go to Pedro's Bakery , by the guy in the Plaza Hotel where I stopped for a coffee, and am so glad I took his advice! Pedro's Pastries are AMAZING!!!! They are truly the most delicious pastries I have eaten, and his many decades of working previously for a German baker is apparent. In addition, his prices are incredible! I honestly thought I'd have paid triple of what he charged for his masterpieces. I would recommend anyone ,passing by Las Vegas, NM on I-25, stop off for Pedro's pastries! read more
