Who was that little girl?
Let me say, we love the concept & the layout. This location has a couple of jeepneys you can dine in or choose their little house. Everything is comfortable. The service could be a bit more attentive, but it was beginning of lunch.
The food:
Tortang Talong: it had a good taste, but the portion was a little small.
Kaldereta: it tastes good & the meat was nice and tender. The negative - - the potatoes & carrots were raw, not undercooked . . . RAW. We had them rebook the dish more.
Who was that little girl? That's the question. As we were waiting for our food to arrive, a girl about 10 years old comes up to the table with a bag and asks if we you like to yema (milk snack). Really it didn't have to be yema it could have been any other snack. She didn't work for the restaurant, she just walked through the front door with her bag of goodies. Here's the next question: why didn't the restaurant staff notice her and have her leave?
All in all the food has a good taste, but you can't serve raw potatoes, the concept is nice, & the staff could be a little bit more aware of their customers & what is going on.
