This man and his partners saved us with our son's many, many health problems years ago when he was only in Dallas. So glad to see this practice expanded! God richly blesses those who use their gifts as intended and these did...separate waiting for well and sick, weekend and evening appointments, going the extra mile and seeking the best of the best to find out what's going on with your child. Both my boys are grown healthy and all their issues are either gone ,or are well managed because of Dr Blair and Dr Staughn and their partnership and those they made referrals too. These are truly the best of the best! Don't let anyone say they paid someone to say this! They didn't. I paid them. And it was money well spent!

Long story short, we came in at 3 am for major abdominal pain for my boyfriend. He could barely move, they did their routine questions and when asked he admitted he does smoke marijuana on occasions and she jumped to "well thats probably your issue" the male nurse also agreed with her and from that point on they were very stand offish. They just assumed they knew what was wrong and wrote off his pain. He assured them he knows his body and he knows its something more serious but the blonde also insisted its her job and she does this everyday. Tried to over explain different new strains have been "causing major abdominal pain." Just diagnosed him with out having any test back whats so ever. And was awfully snobby about it. Then test start rolling back in and shes no where to be seen but the males attitude shifted and he seemed more attentive and warned us some stuff looked a little off. Anyways in the end we ended up being moved facilities to have his APPENDIX REMOVED. Any one whos had the procedure and issues knows the pain. It was very unprofessional and unpleasant. We've never felt more uncomfortable in a doctors vicinity for simply being honest. Just be careful with some of the nurses here and trust your gut, because they will try to write you off and act like they are the doctors to end up being COMPLETELY WRONG.

Once we switched him to Dr. Pflieger he took Xrays and diagnosed my 5 month old with PNEUMONIA due to the other Dr's negligence. Dr. Pflieger had him on breathing treatments multiple times a day and he was noticeably better in a couples day and completely better within a couple weeks/month due to the severity the previous Dr let it get to. I am so thankful for Dr. Pflieger and his attention to detail as well as listening to the parents concerns. My daughter also really likes him as well (she was 5 years old when we moved her with my son- 15 now). I enjoy being able to see Dr Pflieger each time I come with my sons asthma issues and getting to discuss the best route to get it under control since its seasonal (drastic weather changes cause it mostly). The receptionist and front desk at the new location (North Pediatrics) is wonderful and kind and the nurses are great too. Its a friendly and happy environment and my kids actually aren't scared to go to the Dr. We always highly recommend Dr. Pflieger to our friends who have kiddos.

Then my daughter got her first ear infection and it was HORRIBLE. She was in a lot of pain and i was worried for the integrity of her ear and the fact that she was in so much pain. I called the office and they said they wouldn't see her for FOUR DAYS! I knew that was unacceptable. I called rockwall pediatrics and they got her in that day. Luckily, too, because the doctor had told me her infection was awful and was cause for definite concern. They got her antibiotics and she ended up having several more ear infections within the next 6 or 7 months, which prompted them to get her in to see an ENT so she could get tubes in her ears. I have never looked back. I now have an infant and she goes to rockwall pediatrics too. My oldest first saw Deanna, but now sees Dr. Pflieger since i met him when he became my infants doctor. We liked Deanna, but we love Dr. Pflieger! He is so nice and sweet and informative and not judgemental at all. I also love his nurse Erica. She is so nice and personable. She loves our baby and always makes it a point to come see her when we come in, even if we aren't there for the baby or she's working with a different provider that day. I love her. The reception desk can be annoying dealing with sometimes because they almost always put you on hold for quite a while, which wouldn't be a big deal, but sometimes when I'm at the office, i hear them put someone on hold and then finish a personal conversation with a coworker before going back to the call. However, i love this office and have no reason to go looking anywhere else. I'd recommend this office to anyone looking for great care for their child.
