This man and his partners saved us with our son's many, many health problems years ago when he was only in Dallas. So glad to see this practice expanded! God richly blesses those who use their gifts as intended and these did...separate waiting for well and sick, weekend and evening appointments, going the extra mile and seeking the best of the best to find out what's going on with your child. Both my boys are grown healthy and all their issues are either gone ,or are well managed because of Dr Blair and Dr Staughn and their partnership and those they made referrals too. These are truly the best of the best! Don't let anyone say they paid someone to say this! They didn't. I paid them. And it was money well spent!

If you don't want to be hounded about vaccines, this is the place to come to. I LOVE that they respect whether you want vaccines or not. Not one person was pushy. You tell them what you want for your family and they truly respect that. Every single staff member we met was so friendly and so good with our kids. We left with a binder providing our kids well check info, our kids got some goodies and overall great service!

HOWEVER, I have to prep my patience every time we call or have to speak to the front desk staff. Condescending, huge attitude, and just acts utterly irritated that you even fathomed calling her. God forbid you have to ask a question. I worked in customer service and now in HR so have had my share of rude people but man they take the cake. If you can push through the front desk attitude, you'll get a great doctor team.

I got to my appointment late due to my kid having DIARRHEA lady in the front stated they could no longer see me that day I was turned down with a SICK 11month old. He was not okay so I went ahead and took him to an urgent care she apparently "put that in system" today I am trying to take my son for his shots and check up lady stated "SHE MUST ASK DOCTOR IF THEY CAN SEE ME" when I haven't even made a pediatrician change to Medicaid this is ignorant behavior no parent should be treated this way.

We have been seeing Dr. Kurt Pflieger since my son was about 5 months old (he is TEN now!) - we…read moretransferred our kids to him due to the previous pediatrician not listening to me regarding his breathing issues and being sick all the time (respiratory issues stemming from croup) The previous pediatrician kept saying it was normal to still have a cough and it would get better. Once we switched him to Dr. Pflieger he took Xrays and diagnosed my 5 month old with PNEUMONIA due to the other Dr's negligence. Dr. Pflieger had him on breathing treatments multiple times a day and he was noticeably better in a couples day and completely better within a couple weeks/month due to the severity the previous Dr let it get to. I am so thankful for Dr. Pflieger and his attention to detail as well as listening to the parents concerns. My daughter also really likes him as well (she was 5 years old when we moved her with my son- 15 now). I enjoy being able to see Dr Pflieger each time I come with my sons asthma issues and getting to discuss the best route to get it under control since its seasonal (drastic weather changes cause it mostly). The receptionist and front desk at the new location (North Pediatrics) is wonderful and kind and the nurses are great too. Its a friendly and happy environment and my kids actually aren't scared to go to the Dr. We always highly recommend Dr. Pflieger to our friends who have kiddos.

I am shocked to see such low ratings for FLP. We absolutely love our pediatrician Dr. Mitchell, he…read morehas always provided excellent care for my sons, 8.5 years old and 5.5 years old. We have seen Dr. Mitchell since my oldest was a newborn. I trust Dr. Mitchell with my sons' lives! I am a very anxious mom and my brain tends to catastrophise any new medical symptoms, but Dr. Mitchell has never dismissed my concerns and always takes time to explain things to me in a calming and reassuring manner without minimizing my concerns or making me feel ashamed for my intrusive thoughts. Never dismissive, never condencending, never once has come from a place of ego in instances when I have pushed back on his assesment/dignosis. Dr. Mitchell always says "you are the expert on your own child" and will agree for additional testing if I don't feel at peace with something regarding my children's health. I have never once in all these years felt rushed or unheard during our appointments or phone calls. Dr.Mitchell just deeply cares for his patients and goes out of his way to make their parents feel best equipped to care for them and guide them. I drive from Allen to FLP in Dallas no matter how bad the traffic may be, and will continue to do so no matter where we move next across the DFW metroplex. Additionally, in 8.5 years we were always seen the same day for sick visits. Some other excellent doctors at FLP we have seen for sick visits include Dr. Clark, Dr. Kravitz and Dr. Strong. In 8.5 years, we have only waited to be seen ONCE for longer than 30min. We have also only had positive experiences with the front desk staff and nurses. Side note for any anxious moms like me: best to skip scheduling with Dr. Tang. I am sure she is extremely qualified in medical expertise, but she leads with the worst case scenario. I am still scarred from taking my children to see her twice.

I'm not the expert, I'm trusting them to be, but the handling of the aftermath was messy and negligent. It was phone tag, a lost referral, and a non-apology apology. I don't recommend.
