Been taking my daughter here for 9 years and have had exceptional care from Dr. Blake, Dr. Toth & her absolute favorite Dr. Burkham!! Dr. Burkham is absolutely amazing with my daughter and my daughter adores her. Even if she's not feeling good, she still gets excited to see her! I'm hoping they accept anthem insurance because we are having to switch insurance carriers (prev. used caresource). The only thing I think could be improved is the hospitality of the front office staff, they aren't rude or anything but are just rather short & not entirely pleasant which I feel it's important since it's the first face you see when you come into the office. read more

I'm not sure why this pediatrician office received so low rate... I absolutely love this place and people who work or worked there. I have two kids. One is almost 27 and I took her to White Hall office when she was a child. And now I have 5 year old who I've been talking to Lewis Center location. Almost all doctors are amazing! I had a couple male doctors who seemed didn't care too much and were there to make money, but absolutely all female doctors truly cared for each of my child as for their own, with love, care, and compassion. Rude front desk. If you don't Vaxx they will refuse to care for your child. Just awful!

Service so bad they have to charge people to discourage them from leaving. Started here years ago with Dr Kreuck and found her wonderful. However, practice grew increasingly bureaucratic and unresponsive. Dr Kreuck retired and it got worse. Appointments are hard to get and are rushed when you do get them. Transferring to new pediatrician that focuses on patients rather than overhead. Records completely unresponsive. Want to charge $26 per child to transfer files. When asked about picking them up myself I was told I could "pick up the free ones myself, but it's still $26 per child for the complete file." They charge you $26 to hand you a file. Service so bad they have to charge people to discourage them from leaving. read more

We have been going here for two years and within that time have been misdiagnosed multiple times, the last time after multiple attempts to convey our four year old had more than a cold, ended us in the children's er. They have recommended unnecessary surgeries and have not treated my children with care and time that I have received elsewhere. HORRIBLE !!!!!!!! I am so very upset with the care I received today !!! My daughter had her well visit today and we were told to stay in our car and wait til a nurse met us. We were wearing our masks and met in the front 2 glass doors where the sun was beating in. We entered and she precedes to take my daughter's temperature and showed me it is over 104. 0 and I said that can not be right can you please take mine ... she lightly wanded over my head and it was 98. 3 and I was standing where the sun was not beating in ..... however my daughter was standing closer to the doors where it was very warm and the sun was beating in ..... she then takes my daughter's temp wands across her forehead down by her ear toward the back of the neck ( I have never seen a temp taking that way and she did it both times that way and it was 104.5 ....and she kind of smirked ( under her face mask and puts her hands up to show me ) .... I was very confused ... if that were true she would need medical attention IMMEDIATELY and could be soon in a seizure state... I asked her if she could possible get another thermometer or something .... her response was we could reschedule in 24 hours if we were fever free !!!!!!!!!! Will call you .....Are you serious ???? You are a nurse and if you took the temperature and it was that high I would hope as a nurse you would get a doctor or send me to the ER !!!! She literally put her hands up and said there is nothing I can do !!!! And we walked out the door !!!! My daughter did not have a fever no where near the number .... we have a similar one ( hospital grade ) and I took my daughter's temp like 10 times when we got home which is probably 7 minutes away and even had the ear one as well and it was all reading 98.6 ... we also then took all family members in our home as well and of course they read to be normal !!! I would like to speak to someone in charge of these nurses !!!! I am also wondering why I did not receive a call right a way from Dr. Blake who my daughter has seen for over 7 years and I would assume when the appointment did not show she would look at the notes and see A Very high temp. I mean 104.5 ....And be concerned !!!! NOT THE CASE !!!! It is now 2 days later and still no one has followed up !!! read more

I've been taking my boys to the Lewis Center office for 14 years. We were seeing Dr. Kreuck until she left(we loved her soooo much) and have been seeing Dr. Toth since then. I have no complaints about the doctors or nurses whatsoever. They have always taken very good care of us. The office staff however are another story. When we first started going there, the staff was very helpful, caring and professional. There've been quite a few employee changes since then and some are worse than others. Today was....unbelievable to be honest. I had dental surgery two days ago and when I got home that day I received a phone call from the office stating that we had an overdue balance of $30 and wanted to know if I'd take care of it today when my boys came in for their well checks. I said yes, got off the phone and my husband asked who it was. I told him and he said, "oh I just sent that payment in yesterday." I was like, ok, cool, won't have to worry about it. Got to the appt today and realized I forgot my wallet. No biggie (or so I thought) because I did the online check in and had scanned my ID in and my husband had already paid the $30. Well first I got the runaround about not having my ID. Then I was told about the balance again. I told her it had been paid on Monday. She called the billing dept and had me take the phone. The person in the billing dept ( I believe her name was Chelsea) told me again about the balance. I told her the same thing, I don't have my wallet, my husband paid it Monday blah blah blah. She argues a bit. I didn't really understand what the big deal was. I mean we have NEVER had an issue like this. Then all of a sudden, Chelsea puts me on hold and another person gets on the phone. I did not catch her name but she said she was the Billing Lead and right off the bat tells me that she WILL cancel our appts for the day and I WILL pay them. I tell her the same thing. No wallet, already paid. She says she doesn't care. She is going to cancel my appts. period. I say, "you can't do that!" I mean obviously this woman doesn't know my story but certainly she isn't going to cancel our appts, that are a month overdue because it's so hard to get them in there for an appt because life is freaking busy and hard. Did I mention we live an hour away?? But no, she's YELLING at me that she will cancel it, that I will pay it and says that if I keep arguing with HER then she will hang up. It was so unbelievable and confusing. I asked if she can take apple pay because that's all I have with me. She says no. I ask if my husband can call her and pay her with his card. She mumbles under her breath that this is ridiculous and then tells me in some nasty condescending tone that she's doing me a favor by letting him call her and this is my problem and not hers. At this point I start having a panic attack because I am literally soooo angry and frustrated. So I call my husband who is in a meeting at work. He had to walk out of that meeting in order to call this horrible person. Then she starts arguing with him. He tries to give her the confirmation number from our electronic bill pay and she tells him she will not accept it. So he pays her. Again. THEN she mentions that they have a card on file. So after all of this, the stress and the anxiety, they had a card on file that they could have used in the first place to cover the $30 that was due. Dr Toth's nurse brought in the office manager to speak with me after the boys appts. I'd like to think that the issue will be addressed but after witnessing how the front desk people were speaking to parents on the phone and then making fun of them to each other after the call, I don't have much confidence in that. I'm so disappointed. I have recommended this office to so many friends over the years. Now instead of that, I'll be sharing this story. Unless of course whoever the billing lead is, calls me and personally apologizes to me for all of this undue stress. I'd also like her to admit that we indeed sent payment on Monday and that what she charged today will be refunded due to HER mistake. read more

Negligent at best. We welcomed our son on 10/31 and he lost 7% of his birth weight before we were released on 11/1 with instructions to go to the pediatrician the next day. We went in on 11/2 where he had lost another 3% and jaundice was starting. We were told if we'd like to come back Friday 11/4 we could, but it was up to us. I called at 10AM that morning to say we did want to be seen- I was then told no, they couldn't get us in. I called back in the afternoon to make sure nothing else had opened up, reiterating our story and concerns (mainly with jaundice at this point) and was told to take him to the ER in PEAK RSV SEASON for him to be seen. We didn't go, but decided to today, Saturday 11/6. Upon arrival, they said the wait was over 2 hours and to call to get a doctors order to pull the bilirubin numbers to bypass the wait time and germs. I called the on call line to be met with another no. Here we still are, 4 hours later, all to finally be getting said bloodwork done- which will now cost us $300 instead of the $25 had the doctor just ordered it. Every doctor, nurse, PCA and even admin in this ER have said they would absolutely switch pediatricians- I'll obviously be taking that advice. read more

I have been taking my kids to Pediatric associates for 4 years (since they were born) and the staff have been wonderful. I can always get an appt. same day when my kids are sick, the staff are all great with kids, and they truly take time to listen to my concerns. I never felt rushed and they seemed to always have our best interests in mind. Couldn't recommend Dr. Toth more highly. read more

I will never take my kids here. The girls at the front desk are very impolite. They greet you with an unpleasant frown and an "I hate my job" attitude. They show zero professional courtesy. Side note - I never did get to meet the Dr. And DO NOT park in the wrong parking spot out front or you may just get chewed out. As if they own the entire complex. It's not like this place even attracts enough business to be concerned with parking spaces. If you also hate your life, you might fit in here, otherwise do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a friendly staff and an overall quality experience. Most likely they will attempt to remove this review just as they try to remove your soul and your car from the parking lot. Toodles! read more

Dr. Kruek is wonderful for my girls. This place is very clean. The nurses and doctors are very good with little kids.
