As a parent I have found reviews and recommendations from other parents incredibly helpful, so I feel it important to share my experience as we've been with Pediatric Achievements for four years. My son receives all of the services (OT/PT/ST/Feeding), so we spent several days a week there, along with thousands upon thousands of dollars a year. We have had some of the best therapists and have seen a decent amount of progress in our son over the years. Unfortunately employment retention has been a GIANT obstacle recently. While I understand new opportunities present themselves, 5 therapists leaving in a 2 month span raises serious red flags. While nobody would confirm it, when asked if it was an employer issue the mood in the room insinuated so. After the fourth therapist gave her notice, I did email the clinic owner letting her know all the recent changes in my son's care has caused serious anxiety and we felt it best to seek service elsewhere because he had gotten to the point where he refused to be there. After being long standing patients I expected some form of response, but I received absolutely nothing in return, which spoke volumes and made me start asking if this was an employer issue. I've referred several people to the clinic throughout the years and when I asked my friend her thoughts, they were very similar. She had also emailed about her son and got no response. For someone who doesn't see patients and stays locked away in her office, that's very disheartening. When we left a week ago they only had 1 physical therapist, 1 speech therapist, 1 full time occupational therapist along with 1 that sees a VERY limited amount of patients. The office staff is great, but they are unable to schedule patients due to not nearly enough staff. I'd definitely recommend if your child needs stability to go elsewhere because Pediatric Achievements cannot provide that. read more
