I'm on Google searching juice bars and this place came up!! I go in! NUMBER ONE this place is cleaner than anything I've been in recently since places don't like to keep up with their environment anymore.. I was greeted by the owner she explained their role in bringing health into peoples lives with fruit bowls, juices, smoothies and more.. AND THEY DONT USE SUGAR IN ANY PRODUCTS.. I explained what I've been experiencing and she referred me to the dragon fire shot , and pointed me to the midnight lemmy drink with activated charcoal which works as a binder to help cleanse the digestive system WHICH IT DID.. and 24 hours later i literally felt better and woke up without the drowsy feeling from the previous days I actually felt energized! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.. I went next door to some chocolate spot the same day to get a treat for my wife. And she didn't like it at all.. was very chalky tasting so I drove back a 2nd time to get her a desert from wild alchemy cafe and she loved it 10/10 !!

Service was friendly and quick, despite everything being made to order. I ordered two acai bowls that did not disappoint. The acai was a bit frozen but thawed quickly once I brought them home. Stopped in to grab lunch today with some coworkers. The…read moreplace is rather small and very dimly lit, especially the lights over those preparing the food. Made me wonder if they could truly see what they are doing. I ordered the Hot Honey Toast and the Very Berry Acai Bowl. The toast was tasty, could have used a bit more salt. The honey was really watery and was more on the togo container than the toast itself. The Acai was nice, first time having it in this form. Now looking back, it would have been better consumed immediately and not waiting the car ride back to work as it was melting. Lesson learned. I added peanut butter on it too. Was it worth over $24 for it all, eh, maybe not. Thankfully, I had a gift card burning in my pocket that covered half of it.

Noticed a new place in town so made a drop in. To my surprise, they have many different food &…read moredrink options, including breakfast. I walked in with the intent of getting a smoothie, which I did, but also ended up purchasing the shrimp wrap & a Mac & cheese dog. The seating is in abundance, with the choice of booths, tables & high tables. The decor is hip & chic with their colorful painting & graphics directly on the walls. I would have sat to enjoy the ambiance but I had the furbaby in the car. I went with the Pure Bliss smoothie & it hit the spot. I definitely tasted the fresh ginger & also chunks of the fruit. They don't have a designated dog smoothie, like I've seen at other places, but you do have the option of building your own. In addition to smoothies, they also offer acai, oatmeal & dragonfruit bowls. There's something for everyone! If you get the cheese dogs, get extra napkins. This is isn't your typical topping. This is a whole lot of mac & cheese shells drowning a 9" hotdog. I was in cheese heaven. The wrap was also tasty. I without a doubt loved the corn dusted medium sized shrimp. With all the healthy ingredients, there was not a feeling of guilt in site as a ate every crumb. The side are their house potato chips. Normally, I'm the oddball who does not enjoy this kind but I found my hand dipping in the bag multiple times. They are well salted & peppered, no soggy ones included. There menu is so extensive, it'll take a few trips to get through it all. No complaints here.

I had to check this place out after seeing their viral fruit pastries on TikTok. I asked the woman…read moreat the counter how long they've been open--she said three years--and the line was nearly out the door, so they're clearly doing well. That said, the experience was pretty confusing. There were photos of drinks on the wall but no pricing. The only thing I noticed with pricing was a Dubai chocolate drink listed for $30! They didn't have the fruit pastry flavors listed inside; we only noticed them posted outside on the window after we had already ordered, and the flavors online didn't exactly match what was in-store. The biggest shock was the price. The fruit pastries were $12-$15 each, which felt excessive. I've been to plenty of high-end spots for dessert, and this was easily the most expensive I've paid. When I asked about the pricing, I was told everything is made in-house--which I would expect at that price point anyway. I ended up getting the piña colada and mango fruit pastries, along with a passionfruit lemonade that was also $12. Everything tasted good and fresh, but quite sweet and, in my opinion, overpriced--especially for Meriden, CT. Overall, tasty, but not something I'd go back for given the cost and lack of clarity in the ordering experience.

First, a quick tip: their winter hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 12 PM-7 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. The menu is full of creative fruit drinks, pastries, and trendy desserts. They have flavors like strawberry, mango, passionfruit, piña colada, and even Dubai-style desserts that you see all over social media. On my visit I ordered three items: * Boba Strawberry Passionfruit Lemonade * Coconut Passionfruit Frappe * Dubai Sundae The coconut passionfruit frappe had the perfect consistency; smooth, creamy, and refreshing. The coconut and passionfruit flavors balanced each other perfectly and tasted very tropical. The boba strawberry passionfruit lemonade was also packed with flavor. It had fresh strawberry pieces, lemon slices, and passionfruit pulp. Just be careful of the lemon seeds. It even had a fun little surprise on top; a candy shark and what looked like Nerds candy, which made it extra playful. Inside, the shop gives off tropical island vibes. It's a small space but there is seating available. Today Friday the 13th, there were only two people ahead of me, music playing in the background, and a TV on. The wait wasn't long and the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the three items I spent about $45, but considering the fresh ingredients, presentation, and portion sizes, I would say the price is reasonable. If you enjoy colorful drinks, tropical flavors, and viral-style desserts, Paradise Frappe is definitely worth checking out.

It was very busy when we visited and was tough to grab a table. My mom and I got drinks and lunch that we split. We ordered from the Buddha Bowl and the Street Corn Quesadilla. My mom's chai was supposed to have blueberry too, but the tea was still fantastic without it. I liked the Buddha Bowl, but I think it needed a simple dressing or a splash of lemon juice for flavor. The Street Corn Quesadilla was amazing and wish it was on their menu all the time. I like coming to Blender Bar--especially this new location--but the prices are very steep. It's a treat for me.
