I asked who I needed to see and they gave me someone's card on the way out, but at that point I didn't trust anyone he sent me to. I went to a new dentist and they immediately created a plan for all of my concerns. I also had a cavity that Julovich apparently missed. My new dentist filled that cavity, got me a night guard which got rid of a lot of my jaw pain and I am now doing Invisalign through my new dentist to help with my issues as well.

They charge a much higher rate than other dentists and I'd suggest just going to another dentist (I've found great care at Waterfront Family Dentist in Geist, everything has been covered under our insurance). The service care was below average and they did a terrible job at the X-Rays, having to get them re-done at another dental provider, even after sending them the ones this establishment took and sending it to them. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I'm just trying to warn others. This is my personal experience and others may find this place great. And my hygienist was knowledgable, talked me through everything and even made a note in my chart about preferences much appreciated. Additionally, they do provide fluoride for their adult patients. She did not force me into any decisions and said it was my choice but she would air on the side of conservative treatment. However, the waiting area/lobby is very clean and inviting, with magazine stands, framed pictures and some patient art on the walls, and nice, comfortable chairs that create a relaxing atmosphere. Two other customers came after I did and were both taken back before I was. But... This office has a very friendly, knowledgeable and capable staff. Mary, the administrative assistant, knew my name as soon as I walked in, greeted me with a smile and checked me in without my having to say anything, even while she was on the phone with another patient--I couldn't multitask like that! Their skilled hygienists do a great job. Shanice, who took care of me, is friendly, thorough and gentle. Dr. Harris is so friendly and personable, taking time to ask if I have questions and explain anything I need him to about the exam. Before the appointment, I spoke with the doctor about modifying one of the procedures to better accommodate my son's needs. She was incredibly understanding and assured me that they could absolutely make that adjustment. Unfortunately, the first hygienist was unable to complete the procedure, and another hygienist made me feel as though the accommodation I was requesting was unreasonable and that I was causing my son unnecessary stress. As his mother, I know my child's needs, triggers, and limitations better than anyone, so those comments felt dismissive and insulting. Thankfully, Kacey stepped in. She had worked with my son before and immediately approached the situation with patience, compassion, and understanding. She took the time to meet him where he was, handled him with such care, and successfully completed the procedure without adding to his anxiety. Most importantly, she treated both my son and me with respect. As a parent of a child with special needs, finding healthcare professionals who are willing to listen, adapt, and provide individualized care means everything. This has happened twice now. Don't schedule your appointments for Saturday at West 10th Dental Group. Sometimes the Docs have better plans and blow off your appointments.
