On our last visit, I watched as 4 employees from the pizza company park in the handicap spots. (No handicap placard) and there was PLENTY of open spots just past the handicap spots. I pleasantly spoke with the young workers to explain that some people need those spots- the response? "Well, we are working". Noted. I did send an email to Red Apple a few weeks ago, but no response While living with someone who relies on the handicap spots, I now understand using these spots give people a way to go out and live life. It's truly disheartening to see the lack of empathy

His wines consist of mainly fruit that he grows on his property and from his neighbors near by. Mr. Martin is very welcoming and full of knowledge, to be honest i could talk to him for hours from making wine to the local towns. His base of operations is small but he produces alot of wine. His wines are not to dry and not overwhelmingly sweet. I will be going back to visit him with a bottle of my own mead for him to try out as i tried his delicious wines.

I believe they make their own bread, it's beyond delicious and they had some locally made root beer to wash it down with to boot. They have some of the best rum raisin ice cream you'll ever have, it was melting quickly on a hot summer's day so they put the huge cone in a cup. They have a BBQ out front that is only opened on weekends in July & August, no doubt a future road trip from me.

The jam being sold was made in some ones kitchen - not at some mini factory. Same with the baked goods. It's held up on Academy Hill in Westminster. A big grassy field that you can easily sit down in. Live music on the band stand. Quite a few trees that provide shade for those hot days.

There was no lamb, now that I think about it, but a lot more chicken/ducks. Tonya was super responsive via email setting up and confirming the date and answering questions. The day of the event Joleen, our attendant, called about 20 min ahead of event setup to let us know she was on her way. They bring everything to your event space like the tent, brushes for the animals, and water/food. You provide the tent (if needed) and a nice grassy (non fertilized) area. They come in a suv so parking is easy. This was a surprise for a birthday so when Joleen arrived, the look and squeals of happiness were worth every penny. It was beyond cute when the two little goats followed her from the car to their pens. Joleen was the best and so great with the kids. She was very knowledgeable about the animals and helped the kids to hold the animals properly and was quick to clean up after them. The animals were all clean and looked well cared for and loved. Although the little piggy was having tummy issues and kept throwing up, yikes! Very pricey but worth the splurge!
