I had a perfectly good experience at this testing center today! The ladies working there were nice and patient. I've tested in five different testing centers and this one was no different than any other centers. Naturally, the process can be stressful. Another review mentioned not being let in due to a name issue. It's clearly stated and well known that Pearson's policy is that the names for your ID and confirmation MUST match exactly or you will be denied entry. This is not a reflection on the staff members here--moreso for the person that was ill prepared and overlooked multiple reminders from Pearson to ensure that their names match prior to test day. read more

Take your exam anywhere else but here. You are destined to fail whatever exam it is your taking at this facility solely on the worst customer service/check-in process. It would be easier and more comfortable to take the exam in a state prison than it was here. I was denied entrance because I registered with clearly identifiable nickname for my middle name that was on my forms of identification but because the check in lady was robotic and very strict to the fine print to the point of being obsessive I was turned away and forced to reschedule weeks later and had to pay "no show fees". If you want to pass your exams/certifications take your exam anywhere else but here and yes a prison that offers examinations would be more suitable by ten fold. read more

This is the ONLY PearsonVue TEst center offering my exam in the area. Every review of this center says the SAME THING- it is consistently HOT AS HELL inside this tiny suite. The temperature is HOTTER than any other place in the Building . The TestCenter proctor is obnoxious, old woman, who also doesn't answer the phone. No one can take a Difficult Exam under these Conditions. the HEAT is unlivable , even in WINTER. we went to scout the location to be sure the reviews are accurate. CONFIRMED. this is the WORST Place to try to take a difficult long exam. you could NOT perform or think while sweating to death in this place where the woman is intentionally HEATING IT UP all year long. no matter the time of day. PearsonVue should DROP this center OR MANAGE to have it climate controlled for normal human occupancy. My Agency just decided this year to contract out the administration of our promotional testing to Pearson Professional centers, which I initially thought might be a good direction given that in doing so we were provided more test location options that ultimately offered a bit more convenience. However, my personal experience with the testing location in Glen Allen, VA on 8/7/17 wasn't very good. I thought the Pearson staff member at the check in desk was pretty rude and the whole check in process made me feel as though I was being processed through a criminal justice center. The lady handling the check in process lacked a friendly personality and just added extra stress to an already stressful day. I personally felt that things certainly could've been handled better. I will say that I spoke with another coworker who had a more positive experience at a Pearson Test center in the Northern VA area...so maybe the Glen Allen test center was just an anomaly. At any rate, due to my bad experience I will definitely not be choosing the Glen Allen test center in the future and if ever given the option would personally prefer to pass on using any Pearson Testing center period...I mean, I elected to forgo my break in between tests because I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible and I don't think anyone, especially someone taking a promotional test, should ever be made to feel that way! read more

First time taking a exam here in Glen Allen, VA on July 27th, 2018 and it was of the most upsetting experiences, I have ever experience in my entire life. Not only was the staff rude and not helpful but they did not have any knowledge about their policies that they should've been informed about and they should've known more detail on how to take care of a customer. Their customer service skills were horrible and their energy was not helpful at all, with the amount of stress one has to go when preparing for these exams. The sense of kindness was not shown today. Therefore, I do not recommend this testing center to anyone because of my horrible experience I will not be returning to this location to take my exams. Id rather take it somewhere else even if that means driving an hour and a half from my house. I don't believe anyone should have to go through what I went through today or ever! read more
