Don't go here!!! They steal your debit card information and make/try to make purchases in Las Vegas A couple weeks ago I was looking for a gas station near me that offers E85 gas as the nearest one is about a 15 minute drive so I came across this place on google and thought why not give it a try, well a couple days later my bank notified me that someone tried to withdraw money in Las Vegas and this had been the only new place I had used it at, anyways I just reported it as fraud and left it as that. Fast forward to me receiving my new bank card in the mail I went to this gas station and that same day someone tried to use my card at this same gas station!! and then I started getting alerts that someone is trying to use my new card in Las Vegas!!! I'm honestly so careful with using my card at places and this is the only "new" unusual place I've gone to since I got my card replaced! Save yourself a headache, and your time and go somewhere else. It's not even the cheapest or best gas station for them to be doing things like this. Smh From now on I'll be sticking to Chevrons E85 gas :) read more

Pearson fuels in my opinion is one of the best companies that make e-85. I like that fact that they are all about their customers and having deals for them, also their app apart from being easy to use is a life saver I can actually check what gas stations have their E-85 because well not all gas stations carry E-85. read more

After searching all over San Diego, CA for E85, I finally found this gas station. The gas station is in a pretty sketchy area, so I'd recommend going in the daytime, but it seemed to be an alright gas station. read more

Debit card transactions are a bit goofy here. There is a label on the gas pumps saying debit cards go inside. I made the mistake of seeing that too late. So its an extra 10 cents (a gallon) charge for using a credit card which they charged my card as such. I don't get why they just don't build these pumps for debit and credit card use. read more

Removed my two previous reviews and decided to leave just one updated review. My main complaint with this place is the mismanagement of their foursquare special. To bullet point it, * Only posted a tip informing the winner, that she did win after I posted my original unfavorable review. This is easily proven since foursquare and yelp time stamp everything. * Mentioned it was an in-tern's fault that is now in New Zealand on their failure to notify the winner, even though it states in their own rules that they would notify said winner. This was rectified the second month, they posted a tip informing the winner in a timely manner. Which is an improvement of last month. Also, why would you hire someone to do something for you and not have them leave any instructions knowing that they would leave? * Claimed foursquare emailed them stating that there is no way to contact someone through foursquare. Most, not all mind you, have an email or even a phone number in their profiles. To contact someone through foursquare, you first request them to be your foursquare friend, said person accepts and you now are able to call and or email them through foursquare. Now, if that person did not add an email or phone number, then of course you cannot contact them through foursquare. But this was not the case. It was really the lack of acceptance of failure that upset me the most. All it would have took is an email along these lines; "Hello yelper, After seeing your unfavorable review, I must admit I am not familiar with foursquare and as this is our first special we are still learning. I apologize and please come in for a free hot dog from your neighborhood gas station. I hope to see you in soon and that you continue shopping with us. Thank you, Pearson Fuels." See how easy that was? Anyway, the owner did make attempts to contact me and remedy the situation, but with no acceptance of guilt and blaming the problems on other people, I have nothing else to say. As for the actual gas station review, the female workers at night are very friendly. The station itself is pretty clean, but they never have water for the squeegees. It is a little hard to get to the actual station unless you are already on El Cajon BLVD facing East. If not, you do have to drive a couple blocks down to make a legal u-turn. read more

I had high hopes for this station, especially the alternative fuel part of it. The first time, I was excited that I could fill my truck with E85 ethanol for about 30 cents cheaper than regular gas. This was 2 years ago. Now, the E85 is usually less than 5 cents cheaper (not worth it, since E85 gets less MPG) or sometimes costs even more than regular gas! Also, it's not open 24/7. I like the idea and the concept... but they've been left alone and hung out to dry. And they're floundering. read more

Now that I am Boycotting BP (yes I am one of those people) I refuse to go to the Arco down the street. So, that brings me to search for gas close to my house that are close in cost to Arco. So here I am. Close to the house, a variety of fuels for alternative fueled vehicles makes it a good choice for me. A nice little store that has tasty coffee and snacks while on the run is just an added little bonus. Looks like I will be back! read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars mainly for the price for propane refills. I found a deal on ReaderCity for a replacement tank refill for $8 tax included. If you don't have the deal, then they have the cheapest replacement/exchange price that I have seen. The price if $13.95 + tax which would make it $15.07 out the door. Most other places are $17.95 or more plus tax. I'll be getting my propane tank exchanges from here from now on! read more

The station was nice and clean, the convenience store seemed to have a lot of variety and the gentlemen that helped us was extremely kind and happy to help us out. He promptly came out and filled our propane tanks for us, rang us up and sent us on our west. Very pleasant and simple transaction. Will return for propane every time! read more

New payment processing procedures require debit card users to make a trip inside the store. Twice if you have to go back for change. Credit card users can still pay at the pump but pay a few pennies more per gallon. This is a step backwards in terms of customer service and convenience. read more

The station just seems to be poorly maintained. They are constantly having issues with the B20 pumps. Either the pump isn't working or they are out of fuel. I have also run into empty windshield fluid reservoirs. They are always friendly and apologetic but these are pretty basic issues. I just want to pull up, fill my car, and be on my way without a fiasco trying to get the pump to work, moving to another pump, still doesn't work, go to another station. read more

Wish this was a Propel station so that I could continue to track my E85 usage but love this station for how easy it is to get to off of the highway. They did recently run out of E85 though (weird). read more

I am very disappointed in the overnight price hike of ethanol. Pearson Fuels seem to be just as greedy as the Oil Companies. Seriously, a price hike of over .30 a gallon on ethanol? What is Iran threating our corn supply? or maybe they are threating the sugar cane supply in South America? This place disgusts me. read more
