I needed to reschedule my appointment so I called 1 week in advance. The staff acted like they had no idea how to do this. They explained that the doctor is not seeing patients after a certain date so I asked if the dr was leaving the practice. If that was the case then I needed to schedule with another doctor there. They kept transferring me back and forth between offices and put me on hold for a total of 35 minutes between transfers. The staff needs to be trained not only on procedures but on telephone etiquette and customer service. Update: found another doctor with a different practice, staff appears to be well educated on customer service. I called back to Houston Eye Associates and on hold for 5 minutes just to request my medical records be transferred to other dr, and to no surprise they did not know the procedure. Sure glad I don't have to deal with them anymore!!!

My appointment was set for 10 AM, I arrived at 9:50 AM, and by 10:45 AM I was still sitting in the lobby with 4 people ahead of me. I don't have time to spend 2 hours at the eye doctor. Stop over scheduling and see people WHEN THEY'RE SCHEDULED. When I informed the front desk girl I would need to reschedule my appointment since it was now 45 minutes past when I was supposed to be seen she laughed and could have cared less. I had to take off from work to come to my "appointment" and am scheduled to go in at 11:30. So essentially I took off from work for no reason and wasted 45 minutes of my day. Additionally, the facility is disgusting. The lobby chairs are covered in what looks like dark fecal/urine stains and the arms of the chairs have sticky residue on them. I called over to Pasadena Eye Center on Crenshaw and made an appointment for next week. Take your money else where. Maybe Dr. Hakimi will take these reviews into consideration & do a staffing revamp.

When I left I asked for the pd and the lady seemed annoyed because of course they want you to buy glasses there. When she wrote the pd down she wrote it extremely small and the 6 looked like a 1. Once I get home I start to shop around for my glasses when I notice there was no number for my left eye cyl and I knew something was wrong because that's my bad eye. I call them and question them about it and they contacted the doctor and sure enough they gave me the wrong prescription. They said sorry and sent me the correct one. So unacceptable. What If I hadn't checked my old prescription and noticed something was wrong and ordered a bad set of glasses. I would not recommend and will not be going back again. Nor will my kids or husband and I will tell my family as well. I should of known better few years ago they messed up my brothers glasses and put the prescription on the opposite eye. Just wanted to put this out there so everyone is aware and double checks their prescription.

The only good thing at this place was the doctor I saw…read more I ordered a pair of glasses with Frazier after my appointment in May. I didn't get my glasses until mid-June. Once I got them, the lenses would come out at the top and then about mid June, the right lense fully popped out. I took them back in on July 14th asking if they could fix them. I was told that the lenses were too small and they needed to be sent back. They insisted that they would be expedited and that I needed to wear my old glasses with my outdated prescription in the meantime. I asked for a printout of my prescription and the tech said "you're gonna order glasses online?!" And acted as though it personally offended her. She provided me with the printout once I explained that I would need a back up pair in the event one pair was to break again. After 3 weeks of waiting for my "expedited" glasses, I called to ask about them. They advised me that they were in but just hadn't gotten around to calling me yet. I asked if I could just get a refund instead, and was advised that it was past the cutoff for a refund since the original appointment was in May. Even though I've had the glasses for less than a month, and here it is August. I won't be purchasing glasses from this place EVER again, but wouldn't mind seeing the doctor if needed.
