Found out about a year and a few months later…read morethat the anti-reflective coating was coming off the inside of the lenses, but they were out of warranty. I've had glasses where the coating remained in good shape for 5+ years, but now these are unwearable after 2. Went to a new optician and then found out the frames were way too small, with the temples bowed way out as they reached my ears. At $800, the price paid was exorbitant in relation to the fitting and longevity/quality of the service. Never returning here.

I got a call to pick up my frames and I asked if I could have my prescription when I picked them up and was told yes. I arrive and get my frames and only one of the two is ready. And they also have no print out and am told I'll get it when I pick up the other frames. I get a call to pick up the other frames and confirm the print out will be ready. The print out was not ready and I had to wait for it. I asked for my PD and was told no. I asked why not and the employee told me it changes depending on the glasses. This made no sense to me because it is the distance between my pupils and that doesn't change. I also mentioned how when I got my two pairs of glasses from that very store they only measured my PD on one frame because it's the same. I asked how that was. She said they had a machine and it knows what to do. I asked how it worked and she said that's why we have machines. She begrudgingly wrote down my PD and said she added a note to the file that she is not liable if I use it and it's wrong. I feel as if she kept just saying stuff to placate me and get me to move on and I don't appreciate that. What she was saying did not make sense to me. I paid for an eye exam and prescription and my PD should be included. Additionally, the two times I went in to pick up frames she seem flustered and kept going on about how busy she was. And I wish they would leave a message when I missed the phone call. I like the frames I bought but probably won't be coming back, to this location at least

I recently decided to try a different location that is closer to my workplace, but I could have never anticipated how unpleasant the experience would be. Today, April 24, 2025, at 12:58 PM, I received a call from an associate asking for my insurance information. I responded, "I was under the impression that my information would carry over." Instead of a courteous reply, the associate--who was audibly chatting with someone else while speaking to me--responded in a shockingly rude tone: "If I had that, I would not be calling." I do not believe my question warranted such an unprofessional and disrespectful response. As a result, I canceled my appointment. I refuse to accept that kind of treatment, especially over such a simple and reasonable question. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and genuinely regretting my decision to try a different location. I am now seriously reconsidering my continued relationship with Visionworks. This was not acceptable. Not at all.

She told me to take the corrected paperwork back to the place that made the glasses, and if they wouldn't recut them, then Cohens would. I didn't believe it, but the place recut the lenses, and so the whole thing started out messed up and ended up ok; picking up my fixed glasses tomorrow. She put me in for another eye test to recheck everything and explained my benefits to me unlike Cohens who didn't even have my info I had to print it out for them the process was simple and the frames were priced perfect all in all the doctors and ever staff member were extremely nice and helpful! I will be using them in the future! Sure enough Cohens tried charging me 500 dollars and tried giving me lenses I didn't even need! I got everything I needed to 208! Amazing

As a registered nurse myself, I understand standards of care and how patients should be treated. I strongly suggest taking your family's health more seriously, and finding a different office until their standards are reevaluated.
