Awful service with the doc leaving before a scheduled appt arrived. We were looking at frames and observed the doctor leaving for the day after chatting with the receptionists while we were looking at frames. A man then came in for a scheduled appt (he was a few minutes early) and was told the doctor had left for the day bcs he was in a hurry to leave. When the man asked if they had tried to call him, he was told that they hadn't tried to call him. The man told the receptionist he would schedule elsewhere, as he should, because this is terrible service. The receptionists were talking about him after he left, all within earshot. We will not be purchasing frames from Pearle Vision Eagan. read more

Very unhappy with the customer service after doctor provided an incorrect prescription. Staff were quick to schedule a recheck what was not a convenient time for me and would not take no for an answer. I asked to see my old prescription and was ignored. Asked out current glasses I got from them to adjust and again ignore. I spoke to the manager the next day when they tried to confirm recheck appointment I never agreed to. I was told that the "owner" doesn't allow rechecks on Saturdays. When I asked to have it scheduled on a Saturday because of my schedule. Then I was told they will not work on current frames. I was told "you only get one do over" when I asked if it was possible to use current prescription that is working great. I have bought two sets of glasses from the Eagan Pearle Vision and have been very satisfied. My wife went to Pearle for her last pair of glasses and had questions on billing. The employees she talked to said she had to talk to the manager, but the manager is never available and never calls her back. Also, Blue Cross has tried to contact the manager so that they can help resolve the issue and he won't call them back either. So as of now, Pearle Vision in Eagan has lost my wife and I as customers and I plan on informing friends of this also. When I gave a positive review in the past the manager responded, but I bet he won't respond this time! read more

We ordered eye glasses for our son almost 3 months ago. We have still not recieved them. They told us they would be done within 2 weeks. Every time we have called or gone to the store, we are given a different excuse and told that they will be ready in another week or so. This has been going on for 3 MONTHS! Our son needs to see! The glasses have been paid for! Do your job. It's a pair of glasses, not a space ship. It's not that complicated. Very unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I just left Pearle Vision in Eagan. I was picking out glasses and the two women working ignored everyone shopping. One refused to help us or anyone else there. The one (Brittney) when we asked for help she rolled her eyes, told me all the glasses looked the same and just sighed when I told her never mind since she clearly didn't want to give any assistance. After that my exam with Dr Meyer was super simple and quick. Again my questions were answered and I left happy, honestly the first great experience I have had at a Pearle Vision location. Have been going there for many years. Went for an eye exam, no change in prescription, went directly to the front where I reordered the exact same contact lenses I had last year. When I went in today to get them, I was told I owed 85 dollars for 'contact lens fitting.' No such thing ever happened. I objected, and was told I could not have my contacts. When I said I PAID for those, I was told then I could not access my prescription...which my insurance had PAID for. I had a bad experience with pearle vision at Eagan location few years ago. I don't know why I thought this time would be different. I ordered new lenses. I was told that it would come in a week or two. I called last Thursday and asked about my glasses telling the lady that it had been two weeks. Instead of being apologetic for not having it ready, she told me that weekends don't count. It was 10 business days when I called. She told me it was just shipped and would call me when they get it. No calls. I went to the store today (Wed,11/9, 13th business day) to ask whether or not they have my glasses. The lady told me that they got it and called me couple times 6 days ago. I called them last Thursday (5 days ago) and was told it wasn't shipped yet. She lied. No apology. Just lies. I would never deal with Pearle Vision for the rest of my life. read more

I ordered my glasses three weeks ago and they continuously lie to me as to when I'm going to get them. Twice they said they were shipped out from the lab and now today three weeks later they say the lab is still processing my order. I had an appointment at 5:40 and my husband had an appointment at 6:00. When we walked in there last Friday (at 5:30) it was a zoo. There was a guy standing at the desk glaring at one of the women there, tapping his foot. It turns out this was our doctor! They finally paid attention to us at 6:00 and the doctor called us both back at the same time. Had I realized what a rush he was into get us out of there and get home I would have rescheduled my appointment. For the eye test that we were each paying the extra $29 for, he kept jumping back and forth between both of us. He decided to do my contact appointment first - which I have never started by taking out my contacts. Usually they want to see how much I can see with them in. Then the machine kept fogging up so I couldn't read anything. He threw a Kleenex at me and told me to cover my nose. This didn't help and he started yelling at me that he couldn't get a good reading if I couldn't tell him which was clearer. Really? I couldn't tell him if I couldn't see it! I pretty much gave up and he just moved on and told me that my previous doctor had over corrected my prescription. So he lowered my power and ordered me trial lenses. And while he was looking at the back of my eyes he started emphatically telling me the symptoms of the retina detaching! Why? Is this something imminent? He didn't say! He moved on to my husband who was just getting glasses and was practically feeding him the answers so he could get us out of there. When we finally left the exam room, he practically ran out the door - obviously annoyed that he was there late! Now they called me and told me from "Pearle Vision Eden Prairie" and told me my trial lenses were in. My appointment was at the EAGAN store! I have no desire to pick them up anyway, don't trust that they're right and now I've used my insurance on that useless appointment and will have to pay for it myself somewhere else! Terrible customer service skills up in this place. You walk in the door with no one acknowledging you are even there. I sat there for 25 min before I was even asked what I needed. I was looked at many times by the women working there. I had a 5pm appointment, my husband had 5:30. The doctor came out and asked the women if the 5:30 was here. I said, I'm your 5:00...sitting here waiting, NOT being helped. He instantly went into a question and panic of if he could even stay past 6pm. He didn't think he could do our appointments. Needless to say, I had to call my husband and tell him they had to cancel his appointment. The doctor stayed to get through mine. It was awkward and horribly rushed through. Do not go to this location. The optometrist is an ignorant patronising geek. The manager, Blaine, said that he would call me back after I complained about the service and never did. You would be better off going to a veterinarian then going here. I witnessed that idiot doctor (and I use that term lightly) berate a patient in the middle of the lobby. He did not even have to common decency to bring her into another room. He was screaming at her in a belittling manner. I felt so bad for her. No one should be treated in that manner by a so called professional. The person at the desk was trying to quiet the situation but he just kept on going and yelling at the mother of this boy that needed help. second time I've purchased from this place - went to pick up glasses on 10/19 at around 5:30 - spent $400 on lenses and waited 20 minutes for assistance with one person (Jim) in attendance. When it was my turn and I was trying them on for "fit" they didn't feel right and he seemed annoyed and told me "well they are smaller than your last pair" - and he grudgingly adjusted them...still didn't feel right...but he got a phone call and answered it WHILE he was helping me...and started to make an appointment with a customer ON THE PHONE when I was clearly engaged with him. This particular Pearle Vision has been a nightmare to work with. They are all very uneducated and rude. I had a great experience at a different store so when we moved it was the obvious choice. However my first visit was a joke, the doctor didn't seem like he knew what he was doing (I've been doing this since 3rd grade). He messed up my prescription, finally bought contacts, come in due to them not fitting very well as we tried a new brand....turns out he apparently put me on daily contacts without telling me. I've been doing monthly contacts for 18 years! Kind of good to know. Especially since I paid for a year and obviously did't get that many in my order, that would have been a sure sign something got messed up. I called about getting my prescription, wanted to purchase some glasses online and received very rude service from the person who answered. I just don't get how a business thinks they can thrive by being so terrible. Steer clear, I'm sure there are better options in Eagan than this joint. read more
