I must give a high thumbs up to Tori, the store manager. I have had a lot of issues with my new pair of glasses, which causes my eyes to be extremely tired and blurry often. I don't like to, but I had to get to visit the shop to get the frame (nose pads?) adjusted. This afternoon Tori attended to me. She tried her best to adjust the frame/nose pads to fit me, making many adjustments without any sign of impatience. And when I showed her the parts of the frame where the paint is already chipped off, she replaced the frame for me! Totally unexpected! I appreciate the amazing customer service here! read more

The customer service, the eye doctors and frame selection are off the chain. Highly recommend!

instead of the puff of air on eye exam they now use drops... can't make this stuff up. an additional charge before you even get to the glasses/contacts. we're the puffs of air too costly? let me guess, the drops are better somehow.. can we tip as well?? even with the best insurance I still can't walk out for less than $200 and you need more. sit on it! read more

I purchased a pair of progressive lenses and Kate Spade frames Jan 2022. By Jan 31st 2022 the frames broke. Pearle Vision in Branson Mo replaced the frames under the 1 yr. mfg warrant. This week the frames broke again in the exact same place. The manager says they can not give me a different set of frames. Wants to replace with exactly the same frame again. This is unacceptable. There is obviously a mfg defect. The mfg warranty will expire Jan 2023. My insurance only allows new frames every two years. These frames will not last until Jan. 2024. I spent over $500 plus my insurance paid. This is unacceptable. Please assist me. I would like a completely new set of glasses. read more

kendra is the best she repaired my glasses fully from being two pieces to making them brand new in under 10 min for free

After having to go back a second time to "fix" my prescription. Due to the fact I couldn't see out of them. I had to go through another eye exam. As I sat in the exam room for 20 minutes while the other exam rooms filled up with patients (the doors are open and you can see the other rooms). A friend of the doctor came back to say "HI!" For the next 20 minutes all anyone could hear was a prayer meeting about jesus christ there lord and savior. Sorry, I don't care what religion you are but when you are at your business and there are several customers waiting for you. Not to mention, your first exam was completely WRONG! Leaving customers waiting for 20 minutes is unexceptable, let alone having to have them come back a second time to fix your mistake. And by the way...The glasses are still worthless. Never, ever, go to a Pearle Vision again. read more

I have never been treated more poorly today than I have with Brandy who identified herself as the manager of Pear Vision in Branson Missouri. I was given defected lenses and they have the new corrected lenses. I explained to her that I will have to take off work since they are not open on the weekend driving two hours to get to her location and she indicated this was not her problem. I advised her to mail them to my residence because of the loss of work and four-hour drive and that I would return the defective lenses back to Pearl Vision and she indicated she could do that but I would need to mail my eyeglasses to her first because they needed to get credit from the manufacturer. I let her know I cannot see without my eyeglasses and again was advised this was not her problem. I advised her Pearl Vision sold me defective lenses by their own admission and she indicated they did not and that it was the manufactures fault and not that of Pearl Vision and I said I did business with Pear Vision and not the manufacture, I advised her I was a customer and deserved better treatment than this and that her flippant attitude was unacceptable she said don't get mad at me and hung up. read more

I called for an appointment due to being out of contacts and I think I had a few extra pairs from the year before I thought I was seen in early 2021, but I guess I was not. I asked them for a pair of contacts to get through until they could get me scheduled in April and they would not give me a pair. I let them know that I would be wearing readers that are really bad for my eyes, but they did not care about that. Hope it was worth losing a customer!!!! Not that I really believe that they care at all, as evidenced by their willingness to work with me. I know I missed an appointment but I am an RN working full time while obtaining a Master's degree. I will never go to Pearl Vision again.... bad customer service! This was the Pearl Vision in Branson MO read more

Gave me the wrong contacts and did not take responsibility for the obvious error. Another instance which proves very expensive service does not necessarily mean good service. read more

This organization is truly the original bait and switch. I walk into the store, I am retired and volunteer for a non profit, as the CFO 40-50 hours per week. My insurance (medicare/essence) has limited coverage. However Pearle said they would do a complete exam for 55.00 less 20.00 discount for my insurance, then they added two extra items for another 35.00. I agreed to one but not the second. Spoiler alert, I buy my glasses online, I cannot afford 275.00 glasses, as compared to 65.00, and there is no way Perle vision could ever match that, they even said as much, I sit on glasses so there you have it! When you buy on line it is required to have the PD measurements, the last time I had my eyes examined was at another discount place (Sams Club) and they had no problem providing that. The catch is...I did not get the PD measurement from Pearle, went back and they said oh no problem we will do that for 50.00. That is just a way of punishing a customer for not buying the glasses from them. I challenged that entire process and they gave me a big song and dance about special this and special that, but the PD measurement is free if you buy 275.00 glasses form them, of course it is. By the way I was told that they always inform people of the PD charge. So I called around, guess what even their other stores don't charge for PD, called several of their stores out of the area, some did some did not. Other optical retailers said they did not even if you buy the glasses on line "its an easy and simple process we offer it to our customers as a courtesy" after all they just paid for an exam. Nope I will never go back...and will recommend anyone else, including Zenni Optical for great prices and wonderful customer service! read more

When I go to the eye doctor I don't go for the "relaxed experience and friendly staff", but I do expect professionalism. Can not say this for this location of Pearle Vision. The doctor examined me and my 2 kids. I did not get any information concerning the change of prescription for any of us, I had to wait for him to ask for it. I was told that "I disappeared" (in their large store i guess) I asked for reading glasses prescription and got bifocal one?!?!?!? My older daughter is wearing contacts, nobody from the staff asked me for a preferred brand she wears. I'm not gonna get into details with lack of communications. My last complaint is that I had to call them to get my kid's prescription e-mailed to me and order an additional insurance for her glasses for an year, which supposed to be offered to me at the store and it was not. All this is mess is making me doubt the validity of the prescriptions. From now on I will go to Pearle Vision in Springfield. They where always professional and fast. They handled the warranty repair for my kid's glasses amazing fast and professional. read more
