For someone who has been traumatized by dental procedures since my early youth, I can genuinely and confidently say that dealing with Dr. Saini has changed my perspective and helped mitigate my apprehension and dislike of going to the dentist. I have hypersensitive gums and a natural high tolerance level to anesthetic. The perfect combination for a traumatic dental experience. Most dentists would disregard this and give you the usual "oh its in your head, there's no way the anesthetics haven't kicked in yet" crap... As a result, I have been going from one dentist to another for the past 20 years accross 4 countries in 3 continents. Working with Dr. Saini is a breath of fresh air. She LISTENS and takes your input and concern into account. She quickly realized what most dentists didn't, that my anxiety is fueled by real perception of actual pain and didn't hesitate to prescribe adequate medication for me to take before any major work (and there was a lot of that as I had been procrastinating any dental work for almost a year). The front desk staff are responsive, courteous, accommodating and simply amazing people who don't see or treat you like a number with an attached insurance. I can't count the number of times where I was seen within minutes of calling for urgent work, including on weekends and late in the day. Overall: a team of capable, genuine, kind and thoughtful people that have changed my perspective on dental practitioners and helped me deal with past trauma and anxiety through high standards of customer care and professionalism. I couldn't recommend Pearl Shine Dental high enough.i don't see myself ever going to a different dentist. read more

I have been coming to Pearl Shine Dental for over a decade, and she did a great job with root canal and crown I needed. Dr. Saini is very professional, knowledgeable and meticulous in her care. Today I had an emergency procedure because my front tooth fell out. Dr. Saini solved the problem of the missing tooth by creating a bridge to anchor it to the 2 adjacent teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Saini for any procedure you need. read more

Worst dentist/doctor ever. She shouldn't be a doctor at all. Harpreet Saini had done a root canal on my tooth 6-7 years back. After 3-4 years when I went to another dentist to a different state, I found out that Harpreet Saini missed a nerve which developed infection and now many other dentists are recommending me to remove the tooth. This is so dangerous, if I dont remove the tooth, the infection can spread to rest of the body and can damage an organ and I can die. Just find another dentist if you dont want to happen this to you. read more

This was my first time to this dental clinic with my husband. I had had my teeth cleaned several times in other dental clinics before and they were all great, so I was looking forward to this cleaning and meeting a new dentist! However, this time the cleaning service made me feel uncomfortable! ! The whole cleaning process was like this: 3 minutes to fill out the form, 10 minutes to take photos (I would like to give a thumbs up to the assistants who took photos here! They were very polite and patient, and the service was meticulous and thoughtful!) Then a doctor came in and introduced herself as Dr. Harpreet Saini !! asked me what language I could speak, and then said that it is time for the cleaning. Then she left, and the nightmare time began. Without any notice, I sat in the dental cleaning chair and waited. People came and went outside the counter, but no one came in. After more than 30 minutes, the assistant came over and asked me to wait a little longer, saying that the doctor was busy. I asked how long I had to wait, but there was no clear answer. She said wait a little, it shouldn't take too long. ...About 10 minutes more later, Dr. Harpreet Saini came in, and I thought she should apologize for being late? However, she didn't say anything, but asked me directly and rudely: What is your job ? I said: recently no go work., she continued to asked : What did you do before? I didn't answer her question. I waited so long, was it to answer the questionnaire? So I told her that my husband was waiting for me, he had been waiting for me outside for a long time, can we start? She didn't say anything and worked on,During the nearly 6 minutes (note that it was 6 minutes, yes, I spent about 50 minutes waiting, and got only 6 minutes of teeth cleaning?), the tools in her hand touched my gums and upper and lower lips several times. Her movements were extremely rude and hasty. The water for washing teeth splashed on my clothes and flowed on my chin. She didn't stop to tidy it up. There was no communication during the whole process. When I said that there was something wrong, she rudely told me that it was just like that! And tried to end the service. She was unprofessional and had a bad attitude throughout the whole process. It was obviously not suitable for this well-decorated clinic! !! I will never forget that she at the end walked to the front desk and told to the front desk that if she didn't make an appointment, I wouldn't make an appointment either! SO Bad!!!I will never come here again!!! read more

Pearl Shine Dental has been amazing! I came to them a little over a year ago through a referral with a ton of dental work that needed to be done and in a lot of pain. Dr. Saini and her entire staff have been incredible, especially Jocelyn. Everyone is friendly and I no longer have issues with my teeth. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. read more

If you are looking for a family/friendly dentist, this is the place. My husband found Pearl Shine Dental when we moved in to CA 3 years ago, and we've been seeing Dr. Saini ever since. The place is very clean and cozy, Dr. Saini is kind, patient, attentive and helped us a lot to achieve our dental goals. The staff are kind and make you feel welcomed. Dr. Saini and her team are amazing. Going to the dentist has never been a fun experience for me but I can honestly say that I've finally found a dentist who not only does a great job but makes me feel comfortable while sitting in the chair. Also, they are great with kids, very gentle and sweet. My girls really like going to the dentist (thankfully more than their mom). Plus they offer Saturday appointments and always try to squeeze us in when the visit is urgent. read more

I LOVE coming here for my dental check-ups. I discovered this place in 2009 and I've been coming here ever since even though I have to make the drive from Oakland. Dr. Saini is good at what she does and she remembers everything that you tell her. She is efficient while being gentle and courteous. I never feel rushed whenever I come here nor do I feel like I wait an extraordinarily long time to get seen. Julie - the receptionist - is also the best. I have a hectic schedule and she always finds the best times for me to come in. I've also had to reschedule a few times and she never complains! She's so sweet and very patient! read more

Have you ever had that dentist as a kid that would magically clean and take care of your cavities and give you a lollipop on the way out? The dentist that you looked forward to seeing and seemed to make your visit a breeze? I used to have that...but then I moved, changed jobs and got older. And for several years, I have had many dentists who seemed to take the fun away from my visits. Scraped gums, painful fillings and a lack of empathy which led to me NOT going to the dentist for several years. Then I come into contact with Pearl Shine until after recent move and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. I admit - I'm a big baby! My teeth are sensitive and I absolutely hate the feeling of nerve pressure in my teeth. So I was very saddened to hear that I needed six fillings replaced! However Dr. Saini made it a breeze. She was gentle, efficient and super friendly. Her and her staff not only took care of my teeth (they look better than ever), but even allowed me to watch Netflix. I'm actually sitting in the parking lot after my appointment and typing this review now because I can't believe how "painlessly pleasant" this experience has been. Suffice it to say, I feel like a kid again... (I'll stay away from the lollipops this time though. Ha ha.) If you're anywhere remotely near this location, please do yourself a favor and see Dr. Saini. Thank me later. And to the entire staff at Pearl Shine - THANK YOU! read more

Pearl Shine Dental is about as close as I can get to wanting to be in a dentist's office, (sadly to say, I do not have lucky teeth), due to their friendly staff and professional courtesy. Dr. Saini is very gentle, non-judgemental, and truly wants the best for my dental hygiene. I have had great success getting closer to a healthy smile with Dr. Saini than I have with previous dentists and numerous dental procedures. She and her staff are so flexible with my benefits and budget that it eliminates the stress of worrying about beind able to afford such quality care. I also appreciate Dr. Saini's guidance for the right care, but also the way she allows me to stay in control of the decisions we make for my teeth. I have had many experiences where doctors will push for more expensive (and painful) operations that seemed more to suit their income than my comfort. Although Dr. Saini does not advise me to avoid necessary treatments just because they're painful, she does make me feel as though I have a choice - which means everything to me when I visit a dentist. I walk out of her office feeling satisfied and comfortable with our dental plan (and its cost!). I would recommend Pearl Shine Dental to anyone. :) read more

I've had a lot of work done by Dr. Saini for the past few years involving fillings for cavities, cleanings, and chipped teeth. Her excellent practice is complimented by her warm and open personality as well as her friendly staff. Reminders and setting appointments are extremely easy, and this practice makes fixing dental issues and moving forward onto your own agenda as painless as possible. Perks: There is netflix for those extensive procedures that take upwards of an hour. TL;DR I highly recommend this practice. read more

After years of looking for THE dentist, I finally found one. Dr.saini has a presence that puts you at ease. She is very patient and is one of the few health care professionals that has such perfect and intuitive diagnosis. She quickly connected a teeth related symptom to GERD, And it made absolute sense. something that was missed by my previous dentists. She puts you at ease and addresses the issues in your best interest without opting for cookie cutter procedures right away. I felt a personal connect with her, the way she remembers, listens and explains. I felt very reassured about the procedures Suggested. Dr.Saini works with an intent to address all your questions and concerns and is very prompt with her communication. Her objective is to do the best for the patient without looking at the lucrative side of the treatment prescribed. Something very rare and precious in this day and age. She has a wonderful team. Sarab at the front desk was very patient when I had to reschedule visits and promptly came back with any requested information. Rashida (I hope I remember her name right) is a great assistant and was very informative with braces options for my kid. There was never any hard selling or pushing nor was there the tactics of fear based selling that we sometimes encounter in this field. I am definitely going to recommend pearl Shine Dental to all my family n friends. read more

Dr. Saini is hands down one of the best dentists I have ever had. Her demeanor is one that puts you instantly at ease. For someone who hates going to the dentist, I love seeing her as she is so helpful and kind. I have been her patient for more than 7 years and have had multiple procedures done by her, most recently a filling for a gap in my teeth. Her work has made me more confident in my smile, something 6 years of orthodontic work couldn't do. All in all, an amazing dentist and person! read more

Dr. Saini and her team at Pearl Shine Dental are the best. I came in a few months ago worried and scared because of the lack of attention I had paid my smile for years due to neglect and fear of the dentist. She was welcoming and made sure that I was at ease. Her staff were very friendly and accommodating and I appreciated the friendliness and professionalism. I even called once during the weekend because a temporary filling came loose and she called me that same day (on a Sunday) to reassure me that it was fine and that she'd take care of it first thing that work week. I'm grateful and impressed. THANK YOU! read more

I highly recommend Dr. Saini, Like many other people I don't like to visit the dentist's office even at the best of times, but its the friendly nature that makes it all that much better. I'm very happy how much work she does in one sitting. I had plenty of filling that needed to be done on one side of the mouth, and instead of 1 or 2 we covered maybe 5 (yes my teeth where in an atrocious state). I was more tired of sitting in the chair for hour and a half then from the drilling, and honestly, less visits the better. Very pleased with her work! How friendly she and her staff are is what pushes it to 5 for me. Nice courtesy reminders of when the appointments are. Dr. Saini herself being very understanding and caring about your dental hygiene. Overall making it a much better experience! read more

This dental office really is as good as it gets! Dr. Saini is outstanding, truly. She is gentle and thorough, knowledgeable and honest. She takes her time and really does a great job on every treatment she performs. My husband and I have been coming to her and her team for about 2 years, and every time we come in we leave there feeling impressed with her professionalism, technical ability, and kind personality. We've had some fillings done (boo!) and she made sure we were fully numb before starting, and none of us have experienced any problems with the fillings we've received. She has never tried to up-sell us products or services, which we appreciate. Her office is clean, modern and well appointed. She really is a fabulous dentist and she has a great team working with her. Thank you Dr. Saini! ~Candice, Micah & Ava read more

So I have been going to Pearl Shine since 2012. I'm pretty scared of the dentist in general so it was definitely amazing to find someone like Dr.Saini. She is friendly, she makes me feel super comfortable (her staff included) and most importantly she gets straight to the point, which I appreciate. I wish I could give Dr. Saini more stars! I found her through a ValPak coupon last year and saw her for an initial check-up/cleaning, fillings, and an emergency procedure. I didn't have insurance at the time and it had been 2.5 years since I had a dental visit, so I needed a lot of work. I did a lot of research on dentists in the tri-valley area for my family. We just moved to the area a little over a year ago. Finding Dr. Saini was a blessing and I'm so grateful to have her as our family dentist. She is very warm-hearted and knows exactly what she is doing. My 7 year old is extremely afraid of dentists and Dr. Saini did a great job of calming her nerves. In fact my daughter even asks when her next visit will be. She is very cost effective! Very gentle! After avoiding the dentist for 1-2 years, due to poor experiences in the past, I finally decided to get my teeth checked out at Pearl Shine Dental. Fortunately, the practice is in-network for my insurance and it is conveniently located near my office. The check-in process was smooth at the front desk. The office was extremely clean and presentable. Zarina (not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly!), the Dental Assistant, was very kind and helpful during the initial check up. She took her time to explain what she was doing with the x-rays and what she was looking for. After the x-rays were complete and reviewed by Dr. Saini, she took the time to not only explain to me what she saw as potential risks, but she gave me a mirror to hold onto to visually see her areas of concern. Additionally, she provided a list of solutions and provided potential risks for each solution. She did not rush me to make any decisions and made sure that I felt like I was part of the treatment plan. Overall it was a great first visit and I look forward to my next appointment. Coming from a healthcare background myself and working in clinic, I was very impressed with their skills in patient experience. Thank you both! :) read more
