I cannot believe it is has been 5 years since my review. All 5 of us are still orient even though we have moved many times. When you find such a good dental care team you simply cannot risk to leave.

From the moment I walked in, the entire office made me feel comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Harley was professional, patient and extremely skilled. He took the time to explain what was going on and what he was doing, which really helped ease my nerves. The procedure itself was smooth and surprisingly painless. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the front desk and support staff. They were incredibly kind, welcoming and organized from start to finish. Scheduling was easy, check-in was quick and they made sure I understood everything about the process and aftercare. It's rare to find an office where every single person you interact with is that friendly and helpful. If you ever need endodontic work (especially a root canal), I couldn't recommend Dr. Harley and his team more. They turned something I was dreading into a really positive experience. Absolutely top-notch care all around.

I was originally referred by my dentist to a different Endodontist nearby however this particular…read moreoffice unfortunately didn't accept my dental insurance, the doctor was also away for vacation and the next earliest available time for consultation appt (no treatment) wasn't until May 17th despite mentioning I was in pain (toothache). After talking to my husband for other options, he remembered his own experience he had with Tri-Valley Endodontics office here in Pleasanton, he had nothing, but positive feedbacks and suggested I get a referral for this particular Endodontist office from our regular dentist and so here I am. Just like my husband, I have nothing, but positive outcome/feedback as well. In my case, .. about 20 yrs ago, the questioned tooth went through a root canal treatment + crown. From then to now, bacteria managed to slip through which caused painful toothache (sharp pain followed by throbbing) when I ate soup (broth). I right away called Tri-Valley Endodontics office after seeing my regular dentist. Nothing showed up on their X-rays. When tapping on several teeth, the pain always came from the questioned tooth. The front desk scheduled me in for an early appt, which during this phone call I learned Tri-Valley Endodontics does both consultation + treatment on the same day. I was expecting I had to reschedule a separate appt for treatment, but this office does both during your 1st appt. My husband was seen by a different doctor and I was seen by Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim was very thorough by giving me options, she explained everything and any questions I had she answered so patiently. Just in general, every patient case is different so everyone individually will have different outcomes. I also didn't know you can still experience pain even though I had a root canal treatment done many years ago. Even my regular dentist thought it was strange I would feel pain from a tooth I had done a root canal previously. I remember telling Dr. Kim and she mentioned I still have surrounding nerves so when bacteria got into my questioned tooth explains well why I was feeling pain. Before drilling, Dr. Kim also took time to make sure the pain was coming from the questioned tooth and not from a different tooth. X-ray, again, didn't show anything, she tapped my tooth, I felt pain/tender and she also placed cold sensation, but was told she didn't place the cold air on the questioned tooth. I was going to ask a question regarding that, but I didn't. I just knew the pain was coming from the questioned tooth. Dr. Kim basically went into my tooth, drilled a hole, took out the old root filling even though it was perfectly fine, but because bacteria got into my tooth she placed medicine inside the canals followed by a temporarily seal. Due to time conflict on my end I went back to Dr. Kim about 2 weeks later. Enough time to see how well my tooth would heal. My toothache continued to last for 3-4 days after my 1st appt, but as time went by as the medicine kicked in + taking OTC as instructed helped me get rid of the toothache I initially had. It's been 2 days after Dr. Kim went back in, replaced the medicine with new root canal filling + build up + permanently sealing my tooth I've been able to eat just fine. No pain at all. Dr. Kim and her office staff were all friendly, caring, I didn't feel rushed or anything like that. Dr. Kim's assistant took several X-rays (before, during and after). Like I said, "My experience with Tri-Valley Endodontics Pleasanton location was nothing, but positive and this office accepted my dental insurance." Thank You, Dr. Kim and office staff. FYI - new patients - bathrooms are located next to the elevator and make sure you grab the right key. I didn't know, I took the wrong key (men's) so explains why I struggled trying to open the women's bathroom. lol

I did a veneer on one of my smaller tooth per my dentist recommendation. Little did I know that my…read moretooth will be so angry at the veneer attempt and develop a very bad toothache. I would advise against anyone who would want to do veneer on a healthy tooth. Since the pain was severe, Advil/ibuprofen cannot even lessened the pain. However, fortunately with help of melatonin I can sleep. my dentist adjust the veneer a couple of times and still, it hurts so much that it makes my whole jaw hurts. My dentist then recommend me to Bay Endodontics. As I cannot withstand the pain anymore, I contacted them at 10pm on Wednesday. Surely there was no answer, I left a voicemail, but what really impressed me was shortly after, the doctor message me via text and agreed to meet me the following day. She has to squeeze me in her tight schedule, even having to work overtime, to test if I needed a root canal. turns out I did. She saw how I was hurting and prescribe me more pain killers, and give me high dosage of Advil/ibuprofen. The appointment for the root canal was made for the next week as she was full book. But she make sure to check in on me if my pain is bearable. On the day, regular root canal only take about 45 mins. but mine takes about 3 hours. Turns out my tooth were a rare condition and have lots of branch(?). I don't know how to explain but she has to do 3 times the work to clean the tooth. The process itself, I would not say painless, she administer me more anesthetic than normal person as I keep feeling pain. The sensation of having your tooth being drilled, shoved in a metal is not very pleasant. I would suggest all of you who read this to NEVER do veneer on healthy tooth once again, and to keep the hygiene of your tooth to avoid root canal. I can see she was tired towards the end of the 3 hours (lol) but she did a thorough job and even explained to me what happen. The office was small but very clean, the staff were very friendly and detailed. they are also abiding the COVID 19 protocol seriously. my tooth is now not hurting anymore.

My mouth had been in excruciating pain for a week and my tooth was extremely sensitive to touch & temperatures, so I was very nervous about the procedure. From my initial call to leaving the office, Dr. Quang was so comforting & kind. The root canal was an absolute breeze! I felt zero pain even when I was being numbed with the needle. She was extremely gentle and communicative of every step. The actual procedure was pain free and what was even more impressive is that she did it all by herself, no assistance! I was beyond impressed with Dr. Quang & my entire experience. She eased all my anxiety and made this process as good as it could've been. I highly recommend her & will be telling all my Friends & Family about her amazing service.

Unfortunately, I needed to have the nerve removed from the tooth to prevent further decay. Of course who wants to take time off from work for a dental procedure? Nonetheless, the friendly receptionist quickly scheduled me for a convenient appointment time, and the procedure took approximately 1 hr from check-in to check-out. The injection of Novocain was the most painful part, but nothing terrible. Dr. Chinta adeptly performed the procedure with essentially no pain experienced. The dental technician then filled in the cavity left by the removed root nerve and sealed the small hole in the back of the tooth. Once the Novocain wore off, everything was back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Chinta and her staff if you are ever in need of their services.

First two reviews must be from friends…read more... Years ago, I was getting ripped off from Dr. Chinta (got so much unnecessary work done because she induces fear making it sound like you're going to become and left to find a different dentist. She has multiple practices all over the Tri-Valley area under different names. I was calling around looking for a specialist for a re-root canal, asking basic questions such as procedure length and pricing. I don't have dental insurance and they are not a specialist office. They are charging WAY more for a consult and saying there's a chance they won't be able to perform the procedure after all (even though I have a referral from my dentist that states exactly what needs to be done). The "sweet" receptionist hung up on me for no reason when I asked why the price was so high if they're not specialist (I was not haggling, bargaining or anything). Long story short...dodged a bullet and throwing money in a pit. Finding out it was Dr. Chinta in the end it all made sense.
