This office honestly deserves more stars. I've only had my initial consultation, and I already feel so grateful that I found this place. I originally requested a specific appointment day, but they were fully booked, so I asked to be added to the cancellation list. I didn't expect much, but they actually followed through and called me when something opened up -- that small act alone made me feel like they truly care about their patients. As someone who works Monday through Friday, their schedule is a huge plus. They open as early as 7:30 AM, they're even open during my lunch hour at 12 PM, and they offer one Saturday each month, which makes getting care so much easier and less stressful. I have pretty significant dental anxiety, so going to the dentist is never easy for me. From the moment I walked in, though, I felt understood instead of judged. The first visit focused on X-rays and high-tech photos, and everything felt very thorough and thoughtful -- like they genuinely care about the health of your teeth rather than just rushing you through. My hygienist, Angela, was incredibly kind and personable and made me feel comfortable almost immediately. Dr. Shaghasi also took the time to talk with me and reassure me that my fears were completely valid. That meant more to me than I can explain. For the first time in a long time, I'm not afraid to go back to the dentist. I actually feel safe here -- and I'm truly looking forward to continuing my care with this team. read more

My husband, two kids (now adults), and myself have been going to Dr Shaghasi's dental practice since I believe the first year or two after she opened around 2007. She is professional, patient, has clear communication and is personable which I greatly appreciate, and I've always thought her staff is top notch. We have a few dentists throughout the years. After covid-shutdown, we tried a new dentist (since our insurance does not cover the previous dentist anymore). We really did not like this 'new' dentist since he was always selling us to do this, to do that, etc.. HOWEVER, we found Dublin Corners Dental: Dr Shaghasi and her team was/is VERY professional. I still remember when we brought our kids to her, she was very patient explaining everything to us before/during/after the appointment. And never pushed for any additional work. We gladly make appointments for any necessary dental work done. So she explains everything very clearly, she is also very skillful, down to earth, genuine and professional. I especially like the hygienist Debbie. She is very detailed, patient and professional. I like how she cleans my teeth, yet I never feel anxious or pain or sore. Also there was this one time a few weeks ago, I only told her that I was in a rush (right as we walked into the room). She was SO professional and finished my cleaning meticulously well, even I was rushing her. Any other hygienist in our previous 2 places would be very impatient. I was so used to hygienists being angry with how I did not brush my teeth this way or that way. Debbie keeps reminding me to brush the front bottom side of my teeth every time, in a very gentle yet firm way. Today I had a filling by Dr. Lu. I was not nervous at all, also she did it very well that I did not even know that it was done! Bravo. Overall, we love the staff at Dublin Corners Dental: they are always friendly and with a smile. I moved to Pleasanton about 2 years ago and have been looking for a dentist that reminds me of the one I had in Lafayette, CA, who I went to since I was a teen and always loved... but they stopped Delta Dental coverage and... I moved. I can 100% say that Dublin Corners is the dentist that I've been looking for. They're professional, very organized/well managed, has great communication, and has a very kind/warm family-oriented feeling. The front office is beautiful, the patient rooms are PRIVATE (not shared space or open walls), and they have many services available (including a periodontist). As a bonus, they have a nice, large parking lot area. The staff I've met so far are fabulous. Melissa, at the front reception desk, was very friendly, patient, and informative. Marlene, who helped me during my first appointment/cleaning, was very helpful/skilled, and easy to communicate with. Dr. Luu was easy to understand, detailed/thorough, kind, and professional. Damrus (I apologize for incorrect spelling!) was also absolutely wonderful when explaining costs and my plan at the end of my appointment. Amazing staff. During my appointment, I felt like everything I said was heard and responded to appropriately. The treatment plan at the end was broken down into priorities, which I loved. I was shown my x-rays a few times on a large tv in front of me and everything was so well-explained. Available services were offered to me gently, but NOTHING AT ALL was pushed on me (which I have VERY OFTEN experienced in the past with other dentists - I know my teeth have some concerns, like grinding). There was no pressure to buy anything. I've had so many past dentist appointments over the years where I feel like I'm being sold to or lectured, and that did not happen at all at Dublin Corners (or the dentist I had in Lafayette). I can tell they care about helping me, and not about selling services. I am now recommending Dublin Corners to everyone. I'm the typical... I hate going to the dentist-type of person... but I've finally found a wonderful dentist that I can trust and hopefully keep going to for years to come. read more

I recently had a cleaning and as usual it was a great experience. The welcoming waiting room and receptionists set the right tone. Marlene, the hygenist, was amazing, doing a thorough yet comfortable cleaning. During the whole process she would explain and guide me through the different phases and what she was doing. Her calm voice and demeaner made the whole process easy and relaxed. At the end she even educated me on where my problem spots were to focus my brushing and flossing. It was great to feel my clean silky smooth teeth afterwards. I used to dred going for cleaning but now it's something I actually look forward to. read more
