This office honestly deserves more stars. I've only had my initial consultation, and I already feel so grateful that I found this place. I originally requested a specific appointment day, but they were fully booked, so I asked to be added to the cancellation list. I didn't expect much, but they actually followed through and called me when something opened up -- that small act alone made me feel like they truly care about their patients. As someone who works Monday through Friday, their schedule is a huge plus. They open as early as 7:30 AM, they're even open during my lunch hour at 12 PM, and they offer one Saturday each month, which makes getting care so much easier and less stressful. I have pretty significant dental anxiety, so going to the dentist is never easy for me. From the moment I walked in, though, I felt understood instead of judged. The first visit focused on X-rays and high-tech photos, and everything felt very thorough and thoughtful -- like they genuinely care about the health of your teeth rather than just rushing you through. My hygienist, Angela, was incredibly kind and personable and made me feel comfortable almost immediately. Dr. Shaghasi also took the time to talk with me and reassure me that my fears were completely valid. That meant more to me than I can explain. For the first time in a long time, I'm not afraid to go back to the dentist. I actually feel safe here -- and I'm truly looking forward to continuing my care with this team. read more

This dental office is so clean and luxurious. My first impression was that it was a luxury dentist still covered by insurance though! My appointments are always smooth and on time, typically in and out within the hour for a cleaning. Don't believe all the positive reviews on here. Dr. Shaghasi is good at setting up the Pleasanton office that looks visually appealing, but her practice is very procedures-heavy and will over-diagnose you in procedures that you don't need. She will charge every penny from your insurance without a care for your financial budget. She used to run and manage the place like family practice, but ever since they moved into the larger fancier office in Pleasanton, they have become less patient-centric and more corporate. I was a patient with her for 7 years, and she barely knew my name. She only spends like 3 min with you during the appointment and acts very rushed and impatient in explaining why I needed an expensive procedure. Plus she has a verbally aggessive style in communicating and terrilbe bedside manners. She has changed a lot since she had a smaller family-style practice when the office was in Dublin. If you do come here, try to get Dr. Luu - she is more talented and gentler than Dr. Shaghasi. read more

We have a few dentists throughout the years. After covid-shutdown, we tried a new dentist (since our insurance does not cover the previous dentist anymore). We really did not like this 'new' dentist since he was always selling us to do this, to do that, etc.. HOWEVER, we found Dublin Corners Dental: Dr Shaghasi and her team was/is VERY professional. I still remember when we brought our kids to her, she was very patient explaining everything to us before/during/after the appointment. And never pushed for any additional work. We gladly make appointments for any necessary dental work done. So she explains everything very clearly, she is also very skillful, down to earth, genuine and professional. I especially like the hygienist Debbie. She is very detailed, patient and professional. I like how she cleans my teeth, yet I never feel anxious or pain or sore. Also there was this one time a few weeks ago, I only told her that I was in a rush (right as we walked into the room). She was SO professional and finished my cleaning meticulously well, even I was rushing her. Any other hygienist in our previous 2 places would be very impatient. I was so used to hygienists being angry with how I did not brush my teeth this way or that way. Debbie keeps reminding me to brush the front bottom side of my teeth every time, in a very gentle yet firm way. Today I had a filling by Dr. Lu. I was not nervous at all, also she did it very well that I did not even know that it was done! Bravo. Overall, we love the staff at Dublin Corners Dental: they are always friendly and with a smile.
