I've been going to this dental office since I was in middle school and I'm in my last year of college now. Could not recommend this place enough! Staff is super friendly and the dentists are amazing. I had my braces done here and my wisdom teeth removal and it was a great experience during all. My teeth are perfect. Definitely come here they're the best!

The husband-and-wife doctors are an incredible duo -- both extremely knowledgeable, gentle, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell they've built their practice around patient comfort and trust. The staff is just as amazing. Everyone at the front desk is friendly and organized, the hygienists are thorough and kind, and the whole office runs smoothly. They take the time to explain everything, answer questions, and make sure you're comfortable throughout the entire visit. It's rare to find a dental office where the doctors and staff work together so seamlessly while still making every patient feel like a priority. If you're looking for a dental team that is professional, caring, and truly excellent at what they do, this is the place. Highly recommend!

I used to go to Dublin Smiles Dentistry years ago and actually had a good experience back then, so…read morewhen my dental insurance changed recently and they were back in network, I decided to return. Before booking, I specifically called the office and asked whether they accepted my insurance. They told me they did, so I scheduled a cleaning appointment. The appointment itself was completely routine. I had a standard cleaning and X-rays. No cavities, no additional procedures, and no treatment plan beyond basic preventive care. Since my insurance covers cleanings every six months and annual X-rays, I assumed everything was handled correctly. A few weeks later, I received a bill from the office. At first, I honestly thought it had to be a mistake because nothing outside of a normal cleaning had been done. When I called to ask about it, the office initially could not explain why I was being charged and said they needed to research it further. Later, they told me the issue was that their office fees were higher than what my insurance company pays. That would have been important information to disclose before the appointment. The frustrating part is not even the dollar amount. It's the fact that I specifically asked about insurance coverage ahead of time to avoid this exact situation. Telling patients "yes, we take your insurance" without explaining they may still receive a balance bill because your pricing exceeds insurance allowances feels misleading. I spoke with the office manager directly and explained that my concern was the lack of transparency upfront. Unfortunately, the response was basically that no exceptions would be made and payment was still expected regardless of how the expectations were communicated beforehand. That was disappointing because I had previously trusted this office and had good experiences in the past. Unfortunately, after how this situation was handled, I will not be returning. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Dublin Smiles Dentistry to ask detailed questions in advance about out of pocket costs, insurance reimbursement limits, and whether the office charges above insurance allowable amounts, even if they tell you they "accept" your insurance.

My husband received a crown several years ago with an initial quote of $1,000, which we paid in full. Later, they called claiming he owed an additional $700 because insurance didn't cover the "remaining" amount. After reading similar complaints in their reviews, we declined to pay this surprise bill. It appears this office has a pattern of billing insurance for treatments they consider "necessary" but that insurance companies reject as unnecessary. We switched dentists after this experience. Unfortunately, my husband's crown broke within just 4 years - much sooner than expected for quality dental work. Based on my research, premature crown failure typically happens due to poor materials or improper installation, not normal wear (and I can confirm there was no physical impact nor teeth grinding involved). I wanted to share this experience so you can make informed decisions about your dental care.

Here comes the needle! Did I feel it? Nope! They pre numbed the area. I moved on to an implant and that's where the sedation came in handy. And it worked like a charm! Now, with the newest technology I was able 2 weeks ago to come in to get a 30+ year old crown removed and replaced in one setting!! Was sedation involved? You bet!! A couple Tylenol when I got home and I was fine! BTW, I told 2 friends about StarBrite and they absolutely agree with me! We're still friends so that says a lot. Do I still have dental fear, yes. Do I trust StarBrite to take good care of me? Absolutely. BTW, I started in Fremont since I worked in the area. After I retired I began at Dublin. Both offices have the BEST office staff!! Cayla explained my process and said the crown could be done in one visit. Things have changed. One thing hasn't, the care I've received from StarBrite. I'm very skeptical of glowing reviews. I'd be skeptical, but I can honestly tell you I tell everyone about them and I know I'll be a patient for life!! Try them, you'll agree!!

I originally requested a specific appointment day, but they were fully booked, so I asked to be added to the cancellation list. I didn't expect much, but they actually followed through and called me when something opened up -- that small act alone made me feel like they truly care about their patients. As someone who works Monday through Friday, their schedule is a huge plus. They open as early as 7:30 AM, they're even open during my lunch hour at 12 PM, and they offer one Saturday each month, which makes getting care so much easier and less stressful. I have pretty significant dental anxiety, so going to the dentist is never easy for me. From the moment I walked in, though, I felt understood instead of judged. The first visit focused on X-rays and high-tech photos, and everything felt very thorough and thoughtful -- like they genuinely care about the health of your teeth rather than just rushing you through. My hygienist, Angela, was incredibly kind and personable and made me feel comfortable almost immediately. Dr. Shaghasi also took the time to talk with me and reassure me that my fears were completely valid. That meant more to me than I can explain. For the first time in a long time, I'm not afraid to go back to the dentist. I actually feel safe here -- and I'm truly looking forward to continuing my care with this team.

Update: Photo added--their appointment reminders continue to come in even after the appointment…read moretime and after it has been cancelled (this was after the 3rd incident). Idk this whole place is a mess.... Original posting: Really disappointed in this office. I've been here three times and tried to brush off my poor experiences to thinking they were stressed and overworked, but their processes are just plain bad. First appointment was at the end of the year (so everyone is trying in to make their appts, I get it, so I shut up, smiled, and dealt with it). I was so rushed even though /they/ were running behind, the cleaning was so sloppy, and the hygienist was visibly annoyed that she had to do a cleaning (that's what I was scheduled for...but they said they had to "squeeze me in?" Odd). The 2nd time they ran out of that biting stuff for the xray machine and had to make something for me to bite on to get the images they needed. Nice work to the tech for making it work, but management should have the supplies available for employees. They /also/ ran out of fluoride that day and asked me to come back another day /just/ for fluoride treatment. So I did--and then all of the staff was confused and couldn't make sense of why I was there when I came back to my scheduled visit. Do you not use scheduling notes to communicate with each other...? I got a bill stating I needed to pay $500+ out of pocket, and my insurance usually pays for all of it. I had no additional out of pocket services done. I had to physically go to the office to get it sorted and they told me "it's a notice, not a bill" and to just ignore it moving forward--I didn't actually owe anything. Okay...If I ignore it, and it's actually a bill...how do I know I don't owe something and get sent to collections? Shouldn't there a posted notice telling patients what to expect if they receive this? How would we know this if we didn't go out of our way to talk to staff? I went in for my 3rd appointment, and while the front desk staff is very kind and respectful, they told me my appointment was cancelled because I never confirmed it. I mean, if I scheduled the appointment....doesn't that mean I'll be there? Are we not adults here? No where in the text messages, voicemails, nor emails was there a notice stating my appointment would be cancelled if I didn't confirm. Again, they said they would "squeeze me in" but at that point I already experienced too many red flags and didn't want to deal with more inevitable headache, being rushed, and another "bill that's not actually a bill, but it might be a bill" situation. I really tried to make it work since my job is so close by, but it was just too much headache. I'd rather drive 10 extra minutes to my old office and have the typical straightforward process to get the yearly exams and cleanings done. I don't think it needs to be this complicated every single time I'm here.
