Avoid this dental provider at all costs. Have suffered from failed filling which led to a cracked tooth and subsequently a root canal. After being referred to an ENDO for a root canal they decided they would drop me mid-treatment as a patient. Their excuse was that starting 1/1/24 they are no longer taking Delta Dental, when I asked for a letter in writing the receptionist rudely stated she did not have to provide that to me. I was forced to seek a new dental provider and pay out-of-cost fees. I also found out that my filling failed most likely due to her work. I have filed a complaint and a grievance against this dental provider. Save yourself time, money and the headache! read more

I had a bad toothache all night. As per my friends recommendation I called them. I mentioned that I am in lot of pain. Being Saturday the office was busy but they were able to accommodate me as I was in pain. I got to see the dentist soon and she was able to help me relieve of the pain. I was worried that I'll have to deal all weekend with the pain but Dr. Alpa helped me and I feel so much better. Super nervous about my appointment I had today because of previous dental issues and anxiety stuff. Anyway went in today felt totally comfortable right away. Totally cute place next to a great cafe you must try trust me. Anyways a totally great first impression with a very nice and caring staff. As my first time I was expecting more but I was in and out in 30 minutes if that's good or not. I'm bummed she doesn't do root canal surgery as I was referred to her by so many and even in these reviews. Unfortunately I now have to Fina a new dentist but then come back for my future stuff. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Dalal and her staffs. I did my crown at another dentist office a few years ago. The crown fell out completely. I visited Dr. Dalal's office this morning without an appointment. The dentist office was full. Dr. Dalal's assistant quickly located my record in the system and booked an appointment the same day. She really takes care of her patients. The experience with Dr. Dalal is always great. She was patient and explained all the details to me, very honest, very professional. mediocre dental expertise. the first thing to warn you is the front staff. a bunch of unprofessional, gossipy, rude young women, who barely greet you and are ill trained. you immediately sense a discord in this practice and know that the dentist is almost run and bullied by her clerical staff. as for alpa dalal, her bedside manner combined with a sour, unfriendly face, is pathetic, she sounds and comports herself least like a dentist. no graces about dealing with patients. she still imagines she is treating illiterate peasants in her village, judging by her patronizing attitude. . not once in my 3 visits did she smile or even respond to MY OWN "hello " , let alone greet me herself first ! shocking ! the last time, while i waited for 15 min. for her to arrive , and was sending a text msg, she walks in, i said hello dr., she rudely asks me " are you done ? " , as though she was my grandma or teacher talking to a 7 year old. i am 60 ! i have been to other dentists in the dublin area for 30 years and all are cheerful, friendly thoroughly professional . then she brushed aside my concerns dismissively . after her deep cleaning, my biting molar became sensitive even after 5 days and when i finally called her to ask, she told me to take painkillers . for a SENSITIVE tooth surface !!! even an idiot knows painkillers will not desensitize a tooth surface which is now feeling like you had bitten on an iron object. i told her even chewing an apple was causing extreme sensitivity. i know she had scraped off that tooth during her rough deep cleaning a bit too harshly but she callously dismissed my discomfort. she showed zero concern . i also told her how i had sat in her waiting room, resting my aching head on my bag for 45 minutes after this same cleaning, groaning in pain in my head and jaws despite the numbing, while the sllly twit behind the counter watched and listened and continued to giggle and gossip with the others without even once bothering to show any concern or ask me if i was ok. even another patient sitting there asked me if i was ok. in this situation, the staff would normally call the dentist to tell them that i was in agony. i was in pain and too stunned to even react and just stumbled out slowly when my cab arrived. AVOID THIS PRACTICE unless you are on dentiCAL, like me, and direly need dental care and she is the only one who takes dentiCAL in pleasanton . . even then, there are a few others who do, in this area. i only went to her because the others had a longer waiting list, obviously because they are more popular and professional . please , just go to anyone but her . also you see barely any patients waiting in her clinic . surprised at all the other reviews which must be from friends and family and maybe the odd happy patient. none of these even remotely matched my own experience of this terrible dental practice and of another patient who i met after this . this coming from me, whose sister is a dentist in NY. couldn't give a zero star rating so had to do a one star. yelp, please allow a no rating or negative . the purpose of a yelp review is to be honest , right ? alpa dalal, please learn to smile and make your patients comfortable and valued. i predict she will close shop quite soon . read more

I've recently become a patient of Dr. Dalal and I am very happy with my experience. I scheduled an appointment over the phone and saw her the following week where I got a cleaning after almost two years! She let me know I was gonna need some fillings and we scheduled for the following week. She answered any questions I had and was very reassuring of any concerns I had. She also asked if my toddler had seen a dentist and I told her not yet so we scheduled her a first check up appointment. My toddler was a bit reluctant in opening her mouth but Dr. Dalal was very patient and played Peppa pig at the dentist for her which helped ease her nerves. I have scheduled my next routine clean up for six months from now and my toddlers as well. read more

We went to Dr. Dalal's office as DentiCal patients. Making the appointments was easy and convienient. We were greeted and welcomed by the front desk woman named Mandeep. She also helped us with paperwork and took our X-rays. She could not have been helpful or patient. Dr. Dalal did our exams and cleanings and was so gentle and thorough. She was also very informative and gave us great ideas for help with tooth grinding and how to keep our teeth extra clean in between cleanings. I honestly believe that this office was the most pleasant one I've ever experienced. And it was also very modern with a very comfortable waiting area.
