Grooming -- Influx of unpaid road and pave road out balance them selves. Elevation -- None. Scenery -- very picturesque type atmosphere, lots of nature, around us, such as trees, and vegetation. Family Orientated -- definitely family orientated, easy enough to bring your dog and/or small children. Populated -- usually not very populated due to the proximity of the area off the major highway. There's plenty of bike paths and trails. It has a few ways to get in. It has an entrance off Union Road which is good if you're on a bike. There's lots of bike trails here. If you go further on the road, you get to the main entrance. This has a good parking lot. It also is the most beautiful area. The best part is the lake, which is fun for pets. It's one of the best Metroparks. It has lots of bike paths connecting to the Ohio bike trail. You can also find other places to walk.

I had limited time, but did make it about 3/4 of the way around the main trail, with stops along the way to take pictures. Wonderful, varied scenery, varied terrain, and VERY scenic!! This old quarry has been "repurposed" and is a great spot to "get away from it all" without going too far. A good-sized lake, a few easy to moderate trails (the rocky lake overlooks are nice!!) and plenty of parking are what you'll find. No, not the best trail markings/maps, but if I figured it out, anyone can!! A great spot to discover in Greene County, I'll be back!!
