The owner had been paid 45k from me to complete projects for my house. He completed two projects totaling 20K. He has yet to return my money or complete the projects he was paid for. Upon hiring Travis he promised to not do what Shad had done to me. That the money he received was in My account and would only be used for my project. He also said that the porch would be completed before Christmas 2023 it was not completed and took another 6 months. He never completed the roof. He had only applied felt. I was made aware of that by the contractor who came and installed gutters on my home. (May 2024) When I questioned him he said he forgot. The shingles did not arrive until June 2024. He never came and due to weather conditions I had to pay another contractor $5600 to complete. I started asking for an invoice in February 2024 with the balance of my account. He text me that the money spent so far was $6,000 but would need about $2400 to finish which included materials for roof. Which he did not complete. He was not reliable and did not show up on many days he said he was coming. The porch was not completed until July 2024. At this point I asked him to bring me a check for remaining balance in my account and an itemized invoice. He told me he would be over by July 19, 2024 then it was July 29 then on August 6 he tells me he needs a week to get my money together? My account was used for another customer? November 14, 2024 he says he will have the money for me in one week. This was my last communication with him. He blocked me on his phone and Facebook. After 10 months December 31,2024 he sent me an invoice with a total of $34,841 and the balance would be paid to me by February 2025. The invoice was sent by his wife. Her and I had words and she told me you're working with me now not Travis! I needed the money to complete a driveway project (which was holding up my certificate of occupancy from the city. Also to help pay for a garage a stipulation on my lease. I am not unable to sell due to no verification from city for occupancy. And the development has stated they will start an eviction process by June 1,2025. Everything Travis promised he would not do he DID. I am 69 years old and may have to forfeit on my home mortgage and move. I am beyond distraught and angry about this. My suggestion is to avoid this company and owner.

Outside of our own issues with this company, I've had countless complaints of similar issues from our neighbors and friends in other neighborhoods close by. We moved into a new development and the builder contracted with this company. And we found out from one of their previous employees that they take all of their young trainees and tell them to lay the sprinkler heads right off the concrete crease before the sod's put down to cut corners as there is no digging required. The problem with that is the back spray hits the concrete and you're literally are watering the concrete. Ours was cracked and had to be repaired because of this. Typical irrigation you install the sprinkler line/head a foot to 2 feet in. This allows for proper maintenance like edging work, and preventing damage to the concrete ,as well as creating a reasonable gap for fencing to be put in without damaging the irrigation system ,let alone damaged sprinkler heads. They didn't not adjust the sprinkles they installed, they were watering the street. We had to have multiple heads moved. They planted trees that are very toxic to dogs that and we had to pull out a replace them. They did a poor excuse of a job laying sod with gaps and holes over 4inches everywhere. It's one giant lumpy tripping hazard .Every landscape company and yard maintenance company we have had out could not help pointing how awful it looked and gaps/ holes when walking. We got Sod ourselves and still are having to cut and patch a year later. We had them out multi times because they couldn't get the job done right the first time. It's not work the headache to work with them, even if it was under warranty we decided to do it ourselves or hire another company to save time and stress.

Who worked on the house for 9-10 months.,they do beautiful work.. This morning I took my dog outside and a verbal altercation was going on nextdoor..this was NOT common.. I paid attention the painter brothers were speaking rude and punitive to shane...Shane said (which one of u punched my father?)....they acted like punks...they put Shane's father in the hospital.. 2 of them..walked to their van got in and did a Brody in the snow...total douche move...TOO CLOSE TO OUR CARS?...immature..chips on shoulders...total punks! I NEVER saw the way they paint but ASK YOURSELF?...would u SERIOUSLY WANT THESE LOOSE CANNONS IN YOUR HOME?....

By some force of wonderful luck I found a suitable home in a nice neighborhood to purchase this…read moreyear and a recommendation for (my requested requirement i asked my experienced buying agent) "the most honest and efficient painters in town". With that recommendation I called up Johnson Brothers Painting and they had the time to take on my exterior painting project after completing their present project. It was still early Spring and we had to be careful about the forecast but not only had they made, with ease, the price estimate and supported me with color choices and all conversations between first meeting and appointment date to begin.. they were very reliable with keeping up with our conversations and answering my concerns before date of painting. The day of painting it was a friendly meet up again. All of their equipment & the purchased paints they picked up on their own (that i chose) came out with them for all the exterior and trim of my house. Work begun immediately on arrival and after taping off various areas for the trim they began painting my little one level home within about 90 minutes of arriving. I checked back on things periodically while hanging out with my dogs in the neighborhood and I was so impressed with how dedicated, earnest and hard-working the 2 fellows working on the paint job were. The skill level and focus in transitioning from obstacle to obstacle in my funny shaped home with all kinds of trim was more than impressive. Their technique also was something I hadn't seen before and resulted in such a flawless facade and clean lines in the transition of changing colors that it gives a perspective of a home created with perfectly blended color transitions "baked on" in the manufacturing of the home. I mean it really looks like the exterior construction of the home was created with those colors already in place. There's no bumps or any areas that appear obvious that paint has gone on top of other paint. The overall look around the home is of smooth and even texture to such a high level of standard that's quite impressive to the neighbors and several came around to ask who I used. And this project only took 2 days for my particular sized home (approx 1300 sq ft & garage with trim). I could only imagine using Johnson brothers again when I have my next painting project. I wouldnt even want to try to match their skill level and efficiency by test other painters. Thanks to Zack for a beautifully coordinated effort & the cool method he employs in his painting !!!

He was…read moreimpressed with them, and so when we purchased a house that needed fencing to enclose the backyard, they were my first call. Jason, the owner responded quickly. He checked in with the city due to a easement on my property and got me the details of how it would/could impact the location of the fencing. They are extremely busy, so we had to wait about 5 weeks from estimate to install, but I would do it over again after seeing the results. The crew that came out to install the fence were courteous and very tolerant when it came to having a 2 year old and 4 year old watching them nearly the entire time. The finished result couldn't have been better. They put the fence exactly where I flagged it out. The materials look great and all the lines ended up very straight. I really can't find a thing they could have done better. If you need fencing American Fence Company is the way to go, and they were definitely worth the wait.

But Mack did such a fast job of cleaning the gutters, the downspout's and even got some leaves behind the chimney, with before and after pictures he took on his phone. He disposed of all the debris and knocked off $10 because one side of the angled roof didn't have gutters. I didn't realize that since home ownership is a new experience for me. I'm keeping him!
