Christmas Light Pros

(7 reviews)

Matt and Pete from Christmas Light Pros completed the initial light installation at my home, and I…read morewill acknowledge that the physical installation was done correctly. I paid in full, in cash, and even authorized and paid for additional services while they were onsite, which were completed at that time. Unfortunately, the company's conduct after taking payment has been unacceptable. Pete has since left the company, and Matt has become completely unreachable. Phone calls are not answered. Voicemails are ignored. Text messages go unanswered. This would be frustrating under any circumstances, but it is especially egregious given that I prepaid for both installation and removal of the lights, per the contract. At this point, the lack of communication and failure to honor agreed-upon services leaves only one reasonable conclusion: Christmas Light Pros--specifically Matt--has no intention of fulfilling its contractual obligations once payment has been received. What makes this situation even more disappointing is that I recommended this company to a neighbor based on my initial experience. I am now embarrassed to have done so, as my neighbor is experiencing the exact same issue: no communication and no follow-through after payment. This is not a scheduling issue. This is not a misunderstanding. This is a basic failure of accountability and professionalism. If you are considering Christmas Light Pros, be aware: they may perform the installation, but once they have your money, responsiveness and contract compliance appear to end. I cannot recommend this company under any circumstances.

I've been working with Matthew Tiemann for my Christmas light install in the 2025-2026 season and…read morehis team did a great job at installing the lights. There was some communication gaps during the install process on when he was going to show up but eventually it got done. I've been contacting Matt for over one month to try to get my lights removed for the season and he has given a date but never showed up in mid-January. I've been calling and texting several times and he has never returned my messages. I was bait and switched by paying for the lights and this service and there's been no follow through on removing the Christmas lights. It's mid-February as I'm writing this message. I've tried contacting the parent company Storm Pros however no one is returning my calls either. I think this company has gone out of business completely.

Ice! at Gaylord Texan

I have attended Ice! in the past many times and I always loved it! I remember the first one I went…read morewas 'Christmas Around the world', I seen "how the grinch stole christmas" and I remember the Penuts theme one as well so when I saw Elf I knew I had to come and see it. I use to have a coworker who worked for the company that promoted the Ice and he was able to get me tickets for like $20 each but not anymore so I did not go as often. There are lots of discount codes you can use to save money on tickets. You can also save money by going during a non-peak day/time. Of course, it will be crowded during the weekend and it will be crowded during certain times of the evening. Also another thing to keep in mind is if there are any kind of conventions going on. When I went in 2025 there was some kind of nation wide chruch convention and all the common areas were more packed. This also affected the parking situation. At one point, I remember parking use to be free, and from there, parking use to be $20 and now its $25. When you park, there is a long, long walk to where the actual ice exhibit is. After 20ish minutes of walking, you will get to the entrance and they will scan your ticket and then get a jacket from them. The jacket is free to use, but it could be thicker and more insulated. I always gone by myself and even if I am 15 min pass my entrance time they still let me in. I don't wait in lines since I go on weekdays but in 2025 year I ended up going the last week it was open, and I still did not experience a single line for the exhibit. I went and was able to get my pictures, it was not crowded, I could move around and there were not annoying little kids running or crying. I knew going in they would be charging a outragous ammount of money for things at the souvenir shop. I went on the last weekend of the exhibit, and to my surprise, everything in the gift shop was 50% off!! wow! I got shirts for $5 and some of the sweatshirts that were originally $60 I got for $10! Sizes were limited, but i think that is going to be my move from now on. Wait till the last weekend for 50% off, use a discount code from the Dallas love list, and go during a non-peak time and pre-pay for parking. I cant wait to see what they will have next year.
