I was referred to Peak Wellness on Davison Ave. in Somerset, New Jersey, by a co-worker. At the beginning, everything seems well, very friendly and professional people. I had blood work done. When the results came back, I was told that I had too much B-12 in my system and I was to slow down the taking of the vitamin and everything was ok. I work in a school district, and I showed my school nurse the paperwork from the lab, Avantic Medical Lab. My nurse noticed that they had commented that read, "Royal BlueTube not received, please submit." I called Peak Wellness and told them what the lab had written in the report. They asked me to come to do the missing Royal Blue Tube. When I got there, they took three tubes instead of just what was missing. Days passed, and I did not hear from Peak Wellness, and I had asked them to email me the findings. The front desk person told me that she was trying to reach me. The information was that the lab had misplaced my blood samples. I called the lab, and they had my result the day after it was received, and I asked them to mail the results to me, which they did. And once again, the lab stated that the Royal Blue tube was missing. I call Peal Wellness, and they are asking that I return to do the test for a third time. I told them NO. And the explanation was garbage, the technician confused the tube because one had serum and the other didn't have serum. Please never go to Peak Wellness. read more

Not ideal if you are LGBT+, i had 2 different therapists there ask that i be placed with another therapist citing that they were "too uncomfortable to treat me" because i disclosed my status of being LGBT while in a session. read more

Garbage service! I was at my wit's end with depression and both meetings with their counselor were super awkward and wound up with him telling me to just get some sunshine and exercise. Not to mention the wait was weeks to see someone. Thankfully I was able to find real help elsewhere and got the medication I needed to finally feel like a normal person. I tried to fight the charges because the experience was so horrible, and they attacked my credit with a derogatory mark and it dropped 100 points! Making life harder for people struggling shouldn't be what this place is about. read more

My experience with Peak was almost entirely negative. It took around a month of trying before I was scheduled. There was lots of phone-tag and whenever I could connect with someone they could never provide clarity to why I hadn't been able to get an appointment. Once I was able to set up appointments with a therapist most of the time was spent talking about my condition but never really finding ways to help treat it. I realize this takes time, but most of our appointments felt like me watching her type. I much prefer therapy where my therapist feels present and focused and can do data-entry post-session. Since my first appointment I had asked for some consultation on getting medicated, but after 4 weeks there was still no forward movement on it. The center is very disorganized and in the end it was more stressful for my mental health to try to get services from Peak than not. I essentially spent a month and a lot of money to work with the exact opposite of what I want from a mental health care provider. Taking steps to improve your mental health can be extremely difficult, and it's hurtful that Peak makes this process an even larger burden for the patient to shoulder. There is nothing more demoralizing than watching your emotional state tank while trying so hard to get treatment. I am sad to have to write this review, but I highly recommend you look elsewhere to seek mental health services. read more

a sad excuse for a "mental wellness clinic". my sister has been trying desperately to get an appointment for months, all to have her appointments rescheduled (day of!!) 5+ times. i even had my therapist (in NYC) call the DIRECTOR and leave two voicemails, both of which were not returned, describing our situation as a family crisis. not sure what the priorities are of this clinic and the people who run it, but the mental health of their clients is not it! shame on you all. this clinic not existing would be more helpful to the people trying to seek mental health, as getting an appointment here is seemingly impossible and causing stress for my sister and many others who have left 1 star reviews. read more
