A year ago we bought our house in Ashland, and had southern oregon do the inspection. Well, the rats are still here. So I decided to look around the house. From looking at the outside I could not clearly see where they were entering. However, from going under the house and looking around the edge I could see light streaming in above the concrete where our porch is. Putting my hand above the concrete I found that the opening on the entire front of the front porch has a one inch gap. I think a rat can get through that. And since the door to under the house is very close to the porch. Anyone who went under the house and spent any time looking around the periphery should have seen it.
