The most pathetic, sad sausage & cheese board I've ever been served.

A picture is worth a thousand words...Is this a $17 variety? The most pathetic, sad cheese & sausage board ever served.

So nice to see something old turned into something new. Loved the rustic decor throughout the winery they kept the original feel with the exposed beams also they took the time to honor the veterans

It's great Swedish good. We love the place, and the little Swedish gifts at the door are extremely cute.

My favorite was the crimson eclipse. Food- 3/5. We ordered some appetizers and they were a little disappointing/did not match the description of the menu. The margarita pizza was a little spicy. Fruit and cheese plate had some nice jam, but the presentation was off. Crab cakes were small. Also, the menu on their website was slightly outdated. I would still recommend this location as it's very classy, great for groups, and plenty of parking. Service was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating.

We ordered appetizers a calzone ( burnt in on end, blackened on the bottom -bitter tasting) and a sandwich ( warm, chips oily and soggy). It seems like there are only 2-3 staff working on a graduation / Mother's Day weekend ???? Service was slow but these folks were clearly overwhelmed. They were polite and apologetic for the food preparation time. There were very few folks there so they weren't slammed busy and overwhelmed, just overwhelmed. We likely won't be back. $325 Dinner and drinks bill and any chain place with mid quality drinks and food ( Chilis, Applebee's, Cheddars, ) would be 1/2 the cost and clearly better. An upscale place ( Flame, Texas Roadhouse, Outback) would be a way bether choice for comparable money. The Venue is stunning and looks clean. Hopefully they get it together, or get someone in the space who can. Disappointed at best.

This place started out as a house that they bought at an auction to get away from the city and fish on the weekends. Poor Michelle and Kathy can't even tell you the last time they got to go fishing. This place evolved more out of necessity. Two sisters bought the place and slowly turned it into a tasting room. At first they only focused on Illinois wines, and they still only have Illinois wines. Next they added micro brews. Yesterday they had 8 different beers on tap, plus bottles of domestic beers. The food menu is limited, because they don't really have an industrial sized kitchen. They offer a cheese plate, which is very tasty. Yesterday I had the bruschetta, OMG delicious and bonus the tomatoes were grown in their own garden at the Courtyard. They have expanded the courtyard and added a room (which was originally an old barn) Next season they are going to start making their own wines. This place is nestled right on the Kaskaskia River. They are only open on the weekends Friday night through Sunday night. This time of the year, they have a fire pit going, and this is free of charge. The locals bring then wood. You will enter as a stranger but leave as a friend. This is must see place.

I love trying new things, its nice to do so with no pressure. The vibes are nothing like anything in Jeffco and the back deck would be great for a shower or party. The prices are low for the quality and creativity of the beverages. The place is definitely accessible for all & the bathrooms are so cute! Its amazing to have a community space that is open so late for the area. 12am on weekends is almost unheard of anymore. My friends love it and can't wait for more events to show up to the space. I really hope this place catches on really turns into the community hub we so desperately need. Food is pending until 2026. They do encourage bringing snacks or carry out. Around mid-June, my wife and I were in the Paducah, KY area on the way to visit some friends. We…read morehad time to kill, so we Googled if there were any local wineries. The one we decided to check out was Poca Terra Winery. Once you leave Paducah proper heading out to the rural areas the roads very much start to narrow and winding, our ride to Poca Terra being no exception. Once we found the winery the countryside was well worth the trip. Poca Terra is a small winery on what may have been a farm at one time. There is a small vineyard next to the main house. In the back of the property, there is a barn-type structure that the owners are converting into a tasting building. For the present, the couple who own the winery does their tastings on an outside porch at the main house. We were the only ones there so we were able to spend time with the owners tasting and discussing their wines and how they came about becoming winemakers. They inherited some antique but functional winemaking equipment passed on down the years from his grandfather who used to make his wines. The equipment originally came from Italy and supplements their more modern equipment. I have to say, even though they may be a smaller winery, their estate bottle dry wines were excellent. My wife and I bought all five of their dry wines. One was a rather unique rose aged in oak. They also bottle sweet and semi-sweet wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with John and Karen, the owners, and their wines. We will come back and I would encourage you if you are in the area to pay a visit.

I don't understand why you would charge us extra five dollars to take the cork out of the bottle for us. Are we supposed to carry a wine cork so we don't have to pay for that??? unless it's required by law which I don't believe it is a little ridiculous
