Super fun winery, lots happening, lots of options. Beer options too, unfortunately they were out when we got there so we will return another time to try it. Not doing tastings currently due to COVID but will return for that, too - the ones we got glasses of were good. I also got sangria, delicious. The property is gorgeous. One downfall though - it was extremely crowded and there was NO social distancing going on. People were very intoxicated and close together. There were marks on the ground as guides for social distancing i.e. at the line for the bar but no one was abiding by them. The patio area was pretty packed. We will definitely go back at a more off-time.

Ridiculous! We drove all the way out here and it's closed. The website says it's open as well as the sign on the front door. Nobody's here and all the doors are locked. A local person says they never open on time, it's more like whenever they wake up, usually by noon. What a wasted trip. There are 3 other cars in this parking lot with other customers waiting .

Great hospitality and attention to detail in every aspect of the business. You can bring your own snacks/treats. A small market building offers many items from Oberle and Volpe to pair with the wine. The property is beautiful with multiple vineyards and a goat cheese farm right across the lot which offers tours and tastings. This winery gave us free wine, tastings, and offered a good deal for purchasing multiple bottles. The overly sausage and the Gouda cheese we purchased were top-notch straight from the farm. We had a tasting of all of their wines and found a great variety. We purchased six bottles. Abigail was our tasting guide. She offered great service it was very knowledgeable regarding the winery and all of the wines that they featured. I feel looking for a chill relaxing place to have a glass of wine and make your own charcuterie board. This is your place. indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful.

This place started out as a house that they bought at an auction to get away from the city and fish on the weekends. Poor Michelle and Kathy can't even tell you the last time they got to go fishing. This place evolved more out of necessity. Two sisters bought the place and slowly turned it into a tasting room. At first they only focused on Illinois wines, and they still only have Illinois wines. Next they added micro brews. Yesterday they had 8 different beers on tap, plus bottles of domestic beers. The food menu is limited, because they don't really have an industrial sized kitchen. They offer a cheese plate, which is very tasty. Yesterday I had the bruschetta, OMG delicious and bonus the tomatoes were grown in their own garden at the Courtyard. They have expanded the courtyard and added a room (which was originally an old barn) Next season they are going to start making their own wines. This place is nestled right on the Kaskaskia River. They are only open on the weekends Friday night through Sunday night. This time of the year, they have a fire pit going, and this is free of charge. The locals bring then wood. You will enter as a stranger but leave as a friend. This is must see place.

Also got a tour of the venue and I am already thinking of hosting a future Galentines day or lunch gathering in the spring time. Reasonable food selection options including for vegetarians. Appreciate the venue allowed us to bring our own cake without restrictions in place. Only concern is parking which worked out for all but maybe a sign on the venue instructing how guests can park so guests are not concerned about towing / ticketing. Until next time.

Kendall did such a wonderful job with all of our orders and the food was phenomenal. This is probably the best food I've ever had at a winery. This is not a basic cheeseboard. This is coconut shrimp, fantastic pizza, & ahi tuna nachos.
