The coaches create an atmosphere so fun and welcoming, you'll forget you're in a gym; you'll leave every session sore, but you'll be excited to come back. The coaches are very experienced and diligent in the workouts and direct 1:1 coaching. The owner, Adam (professional boxer prior to opening Star Method), and his wife are incredibly friendly and supportive, and often bring their 2 adorable fur babies, making it a very welcoming, safe and comfortable environment. The classes remain small (fewer than 6 participants) to ensure coaches maintain the ability to observe and quickly intervene on our overall form. Each of the coaches is friendly, encouraging, and very well-experienced in their craft. I feel very fortunate to have found my coach, Demetri. His attention to detail is phenomenal. If I struggle with form / a specific move, he has the ability to quickly create ways for me to have a better understanding of the why, while improving my overall form. I highly recommend Star Method Boxing without hesitation.

Here are the reasons why I enjoy this gym: The coaches are very experienced, encouraging and personable. They will personally correct your moves so you can improve your techniques. For me, that is what separates them from some other boxing chains around here. Additionally, the coaches switch up the curriculum so you don't get bored! They also do pad works with you in addition to pad work with other gym goers. This is so much better than just punching bags because it is way more dynamic and realistic. I really like the variety of classes here. They don't have too many time slots yet but I like there are Muay Thai classes, pad and bag combination workshops, boxing bootcamps and also Jr Muay Thai classes that my son loves. Did I mention Kids classes are the cutest!? All the coaches offer personal training too so if the timing does not work, you have the option of booking your private time. I highly recommend coach AJ, Joni and Monica! Last but not the least, I like the smaller-size class format so we can all get a good amount of attention from coaches. I forgot to mention, the music during class here is the best. It really keeps you going while sweating like crazy. If you want to get in shape or learn muay Thai, make sure you check out Boxstarz!

Will he teach your child discipline, self respect, a sense of purpose and honor? Yes. Coach Cameron loves his students unconditionally. I see the pride and satisfaction in his eyes as watches his students grow and push their limits. For them to achieve that, he pushes them hard, but he is always fair. He gives them his best and expects the same from his students. We consider Cameron to be a wonderful mentor for our son. He's a rare person and we are grateful to have him in our lives. If you are considering enrolling your child, come during a kid's class and talk to the parents and get their opinion. Most do not post reviews on yelp. Upon Entrance of the Rumble studio in San Ramon, im immediately greeted name when entering and exiting studio. Its always clean and organized. Inside the fitness studio, benches and floor are always so clean. All the front staff, Kim, Jada, the manager and Owners who would like to remain anonymous, ensure all members are accommodated as best as can be. The Staff and Instructors are always so welcoming to the Rumble members with the most energetic, motivating and positive vibes. The Rumble San Ramon staff and instructors are always so encouraging to the members and are sincere by addressing us with our name. The instructors remind us to stay motivated and acknowledges members efforts on the punching water bag, on the floor at their benches, and celebrating achievements on members "Milestones" and birthdays. Something that i dont get out of my past gym memberships that Rumble provides is that safety is priority, such as using proper form, proper weights, during exercises. The instructors are all so observant ensuring we are executing everything properly. All the instructors put so much effort into coaching the members that they are sweating hard in coaching everyone. (Billy probably sweats the most) EVERYONE HAS their favorites but I cant be tied down to one. I love the variety of what all the instructors bring differently to fitness studio Abhi is so energetic, Zen, and has such a welcoming vibe and still pumps everyone up and motivates us. Billy, the founding trainer, gives everyone amazing boxing style training which makes me feel like a real boxing fighter. The best part is that Billy brings the most comical vibes of entertainment while we are being pushed to our limits and fighting through the exercises for more reps and making fitness more enjoyable with laughs. Jaime, the head trainer, always keeps you on your toes and keeps you in check when you wanna be lazy (i.e. me using 5 pound dumbbells on my lazy day when I always use the 45 pound dumbells). She is always so encouraging to everyone. When you feel like giving up, she will make you feel like you're not alone in the exercises so you feel like you can push yourself even more. Olivia, with professional fighting experience, brings precise fighting techniques with proper form and execution of martial arts and boxing. It feels good to be trained by a pro fighter. Scott puts 1000% in instructing his classes and into all the members to never stop improving themselves with maximizing the time we are training with him. He is that powerful voice you hear during your exercises that give you strength to keep going when you feel like giving up. All the Rumble classes are so upbeat with positive vibes and non-stop safe fitness to energetic music to pump everyone up. It's amazing! After every single Rumble class I leave the studio with all the worries, stress, anxiety and weakness back in the Rumble studio and exit the building with confidence and strength to take on the world and life with courage and my head up. THANKS RUMBLE SAN RAMON. (P.S.-- WIL TOU MARRY ME?)

I had…read morehad my own boxing gloves and wraps from attending other boxing gyms but was still forced to either purchase their gloves/wraps or just pay an initiation fee to use my own supply. I also didn't feel like there were enough class times offered which I needed. The classes were fun and high energy. Mostly cardio classes or a booty bootcamp. The classes were usually all full so the room was packed. It was pretty hot in the room and humid. It felt like a sauna and you can basically feel other peoples sweat on you. Since the class was so big, the instructor isn't really able to go around to help anyone. They basically stay up at the stage or go up to the first few people in the front. The studio is very small overall. Lot space is small. The room is cramped. You kinda feel like you might hit your neighbor if on the bags or on the bench side. Locker room area is tiny also. Basically you have to duck and go on top of each other to get to your locker. Bathroom didn't have showers. It was closed for a while due to construction or leaking not sure what happened. Didn't have any issues cancelling but I physically went up to the reception to cancel after my class and I watched them cancel me on the spot.
