In Pursuit of Excellence I am so grateful for Pursuit…read moreTherapy and particularly Ms. Maryann Daniels, PT, MCNT, IDN Two months after I had a total knee replacement, I had a slip and fall accident and ruptured the quadriceps tendon on my other knee. This required a straight leg brace for six weeks and crutches for another month. All this significantly impacted my ability to properly rehab the knee with the replacement, as well as the knee with the quadriceps damage. I was referred to Pursuit Therapy and Maryann Daniels by a friend, which was a true blessing because her approach was professional, personal, and hands-on. She was focused on pain management and rehabilitation, which was a balance that I did not receive at the traditional rehab center I went to after surgery. Maryann's personal care and custom rehab program, along with sessions of Shockwave Therapy, not only reduced the pain but allowed a rapid advance towards healing and getting back to my normal workout routine. Pursuit Therapy has my strong recommendation without hesitation for anyone dealing with pain after surgery who is looking for a focused plan and real results. Brian A Walsh

This clinic uses newer, more effective treatments than the big PT houses. Dr. Will is a gem, very thorough, very attentive. Love Pursuit!

They auto-deducted from my elderly mother's bank account. Said it was out-of-network even though they never told us there was a change or a balance... and no balance showed on our customer portal. The actual care was decent. They use an Uber model with therapist contractors who aren't well-paid, so your care may vary, but there's no excuse for their deceptive billing system. Nobody seemed to care or tried to help us. They just referred us to the insurance company. They need to take responsibility to inform clients if there is a balance pending, insurance changes, etc.

Never have I even heard of a Anti-gravity treadmill, but for someone who typically despises running…read moreon the treadmill, this is my new best friend! It's so futuristic! Designed by the lovely folks at NASA. You wear something like a body suit (lower half only) which connects to the treadmill & allows the operator to determine the amount of gravity that's released during your run. This takes a lot of the pressure off your feet, ankles, etc. I was able to run a full 30 minutes without stopping, on the regular treadmill I never last more than 15 minutes! I've never gone over 7 mph on a treadmill, but this machine enabled me to reach 10mph, I couldn't belive it! & don't think that since there's less gravity, you're getting less of a workout...not true at all, I worked up a nice sweat & even wore my fitbit during the run which monitored my heart rate the entire time & confirmed that by body burned the same amount of calories for the 3 mile run as it usually does when I run 3 miles outside! The only difference is that I was much faster, more comfortable & I don't feel completely fatigue afterwards. I would recommend anyone who has previous sports injuries, gets shin splints, has foot problems, or just wants to try a really cool run to check this place out. Johnathan guided me through the entire run & explained everything very thoroughly, he even stretched me out afterwards & treated me to some very refreshing alkaline water, he was great! Dr Henderson is also wonderful, he does more of the therapy which I don't really need, but I do plan on referring my boyfriend to him to treat some old sports injuries because he is very personable & I can tell he really knows his stuff! My only regret is not taking any photos!

Because I am currently uninsured and the injury requires prompt medical attention, I completed the office's financial assistance form on Saturday. On Wednesday, I received a call informing me that my financial assistance application was still pending. I explained that I was uninsured and was told, "That's not my problem. The visit starts at $157, not including any additional treatment." I understand that staff members may not be responsible for financial assistance decisions, and I recognize that medical services have associated costs. However, the way this information was communicated was extremely disappointing. Compassion and professionalism are especially important when speaking with patients who are already dealing with an injury and financial concerns. I have worked in the medical field for 26 years, and unfortunately, this interaction did not reflect the level of customer service and empathy I would expect from a healthcare facility. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice to others. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training on patient communication and empathy.
