Not having experienced anything like this, I didn't know what to expect. Scheduling was a breeze. The care at Encompass from the nursing staff was prompt and very caring towards my husband. He fractured his pelvis and hip and required a lot of assistance at first. The PT department quickly showed him how to navigate his injury and become mobile again! Can't say enough about their expertise! All call lights were promptly answered by any team member who was walking by and this was incredible! The food was also good which pleased my husband as well. However, Lorena in case management is a GEM! Things kind of got confusing as we were ready to leave as none of the main items we needed at home (bedside commode, wheelchair) were ordered for us. However, Lorena (not our original case manager) stepped in and solved the problem efficiently within 24 hours. She is the true epitome of a team player and if I owned a business I would hire her in a minute!!! Thank you Lorena for turning a disaster into a WIN for Encompass and us!!
