If you have a job and you have to commute with the possibility of being 15 minutes late, go to another facility. You will wait in the lobby if you're on time, but their policy has a 10 minute window where most are 15. Even though that is the policy, a second after 8 minutes you will receive a call asking you to move the already awkwardly booked appointment in your busy day. You could be in the parking lot they don't care. If you don't have a full schedule, if you can come and sit in the lobby and catch up, this is the place for you.

I have been a patient twice at AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab at the hospital in Apopka, FL. The first time was in 2016 when I received treatment for an elbow fracture and the second in 2019 for back pain. From the first day that I walked in, I knew that this unit had some really superior people. And, by that I mean not just in their competency for rehab work but in their cheerful, positive, and compassionate personalities. Let me start with the office people. Michelle is just superior at any level that she handles and she treats people with a friendly and helpful approach that is rare and hard to find nowadays. Samantha is the same way. She really cares about what she is doing and really communicates well with everyone. The Rehab staff headed by Fred and his people like Phyllis, Jojo, and all others are among the friendliest and most compassionate people that you will ever find. You can tell by the way they help the people there, some of which are elderly and in pain. This staff is all about helping people in every way. Their cheerfulness is infectious and sometimes you can't help but smile and laugh at their comments and friendly banter. They had good reviews here in Google and decided to give them a try. I have been to chiropractors before but most are expensive and wait times can get crazy! My experience from a phone call all the way to being treated was awesome. Rene was nice, attentive and more than happy to answer any questions. She made the appointment for me and when I showed up to be considered as a walk in a day early, she was able to put me on the schedule. I was treated by Dr. Mason and he was great! He is thorough when he reviews your paperwork and asks questions to understand how he can make you feel better. He told me in detail what was next and what to expect and he was nice, friendly, attentive, careful and sure did listen to my needs. After 1 session, I felt relieved and my pain lowered and it is tolerable, but will need a couple more sessions. I signed up for the monthly wellness plan and it is going to work for me.
