They only ask for a signature at the beginning and allow you to add a tip to the receipt afterward (was worried I'd have to run out and get cash). They do watch you write the tip just to say thank you. If you want anything specific you need to request. I let them know I wanted deep tissue but not too hard and pressure was perfect the whole time. There are not a lot of boundaries in this massage meaning it does include the butt in open air. I undressed and started face down. At first the massage started underneath the sheet (no skin contact) but then round two was uncovered and she asked if oil was okay. Then she put the sheet back on and grabbed a hot towel. The massage and wipe down was pretty aggressive but possibly because I asked for firmer. It doesn't sit right with me that their policy puts employees' health at risk just to make money. Policies should have some common sense built in. This left a bad impression on me and if you're a mom, or anyone who could have anything unexpected pop up I'd consider this before booking your appointment. When emailing the manager they said that their cancelation policy is firm and they are not going to waive the fee, so I will be going to my appointment and unfortunately risking the employees to my fever/strep.
