I called her to confirm with her studio was located and it was too far away for me to get there in time. She said she would m m my money, as never accelps $ if she does not do the work. A couple days later there was no refund and I called her and she replied, saying she would do it right away. A month later still no refund. I sent her a PayPal request for the refund and she did not refund my money. So now it's been over a year, and I don't have my money back. It was $95 which is not a huge amount. It's more the point. Stating that she refuses to accept money if she does not do the work. She could've said well you canceled last minute so i keep the money. would've hoped she would've been true to her word, and refunded, the money. I don't know where to start. When I found Jamie I had been working long hours in fields in the heat and my body was hurting everywhere. I booked the day of (which typically isn't easy for her because she is busy) but she shifted people around to make it fit, and we had never even met. She was wonderful, she did a phenomenal job, and though I typically only get massages when I desperately need them, I started seeing her semi regularly. After a while finances got a bit tough so I took some time away. She called me to check in and when I told her that I would be coming when I had more disposable income, she told me not to worry and to come in and I didn't have to pay anything, but that she wanted to help me because my back had been hurting. I paid her what I could and started seeing her less regularly but would go when I could. We became friends and she even made me dinner when I was going through a breakup and we hung out for hours. This review might sound too good to be true or maybe sounds like I was paid to write it but I assure you this is not the case. I have oodles of neck and back problems, some genetic, some of my own doing. Regardless I've been a mess for 5 months and unable to work. I had a job in Monterey that I could not miss and as a massage type of PT has been helpful at home I thought the best hope I had of surviving my trip to Monterey would be to find someone who could give me a massage, and work on my trouble spots the night before my gig. I searched Yelp for a good long while and found Jamie. I can't believe how lucky I was to do so at that. As soon as I walked in the door I could tell that I was in the right place. She looked at the way I was holding myself (my posture etc) and said to me. "I can see you are hurting, a lot, and I see exactly where. Let me try to help you." Jamie is wonderfully talented and her general disposition is remarkable. She worked on me for an hour, focusing on the problem area and assured me that I will be sore tomorrow but that I will be feeling better shortly after. She was absolutely right! As she finished up the session she said that she was going to juggle her calendar a bit so she could see me one more time for the sole purpose of wanting me to feel better. The second visit was longer and the more time she spent on me the better I felt. At the end of the second session she ran out to her car and said, "here I got these for you" and presented me with a set of 50 travel sized exercise/stretching cards. Who does this kind of thing nowadays? No one! I made it through my multi day gig with no issues and I was also able to enjoy a few extra days in Cali and I even go to check off a couple of bucket list items while I as there like seeing Blue Whales and Orcas. I came excited but tense and stressed from a long month at work, moving, and a long flight after hiking all over Costa Rica, and I needed a massage desperately! My experience at Come Relax with Me was incredible! I will definitely be coming back! Entering the beautiful massage parlor was relaxing in itself, as the ambiance and decor are loving, beautiful, and inspiring. Beautiful inspiring quotes decorated the walls and even Jamie's shirt! The vibe in the room is relaxing and calm. The light glows in from the window warmly. There are clean, vibrant, green plants, sparse, lovely furniture, a beautiful Buddha statue, and some gorgeous rocks decorating the room. The room is discreetly curtained with a comfortable soft massage bed with clean, soft sheets in the middle of the room. I was immediately comfortable with the masseuse due to her kind, thoughtful, and sweet energy. She asked me to undress and get under the sheets laying on my tummy to start. Usually I'm a little nervous when I go to a masseuse for the first time, but Jamie completely put me at ease and helped me feel comfortable from the very beginning. There was soft music playing in the room and a heater (she asked me if I was comfortable with the room temperature). She checked if her pressure was too much or too little, and it was just right! Her expert hands lovingly squeezed and prodded my knots away and squished the stress from the last month out of me. My muscles felt super softened and soothed after the massage, and even my breathing was relaxed and calmer than before coming in. I felt so relaxed, happy, optimistic, and excited for my next appointment when leaving. Jamie picked out a rock from her collection just for me (which happened to be the perfect color for me!) and gently guided me to drink lots of water so that I wouldn't be sore after such a wonderful, deep tissue massage. I so appreciated her kindness, gentleness, and advice. She is truly a wonderful massage therapist and I am SO glad I found her after moving here in July! I came here because someone purchased it for me as a surprise. The entrance is behind the chiropractor. Jamie was great and friendly. I thought I wanted deep tissue, but she knew my body better than I did. I am a runner and had completed a half marathon the weekend before. I was looking for a getaway to relax for the weekend, and was surprised with a massage on top of the trip. She worked on my legs which was what my legs needed. Usually when I get a massage, the masseuse tend to ignore the legs and focus mainly on the shoulders and back. I much prefer to have my legs worked on and she did what I asked. She even loosened my tight hamstrings and tendons that I didn't know existed on my calves. Wish i lived closer to Monterey or she would live closer to SF. Would definitely see her regularly.
