Shayla is a gifted bodywork specialist. She was blessed to learn the Hawaiian healing touch and is a pleasure to work with. Her studio is pleasant and convenient with easy access. Shayla is popular and her schedule was booked. I wanted a two hour massage which was not available. I mentioned that in Notes when making the appointment before arriving in Maui. Shayla responded and accommodated my request. She has created some of her own products and I purchased mango butter, which includes organic honey. Connect with Shayla when you come to Maui. You'll be glad you did! read more

Shayla is a truly special human and healer. I want on vacation to Maui after an over-zealous chiropractor cracked my neck so hard into a total spasm. I was so lucky a spot opened up with Shayla during my stay - she was gentle but deep, intuitive, and got spots in my neck that took major finesse and knowledge. So grateful for that massage! read more

Terrific massage. She's a lovely person to chat with, and the massage felt so therapeutic. It wasn't just for relaxation, it really felt like she was addressing some more foundational imbalances and tightness. I will definitely try to schedule more time when I'm Back on the island next. read more

I have been receiving massages for many years now and was wonderfully surprised at Shayla's technique. Her method for relieving the neck/shoulder area was AMAZING! My gluts are always sore from Pilates and Paddling and her methodology on my gluts loosened them right up and I slept pain free. Highly recommend Shayla! And her office space is so warm and welcoming, from the best massage chair to the bamboo foot roller. Shayla is using PPE and all recommendations for COVID 19. Made me feel very comfortable in today's environment. read more

Shayla is great. She's very intuitive - in tune - with bodywork and healing. My neck was so tight and stiff, plus I was experiencing knee issues. My neighbor recommended Shayla (she's been going for years) and I'm so grateful for the recommendation. I had full range of motion and no knee pain after seeing her. Now, I get in with her once a month to release the tension and tight spots. Like some other reviews, I have had several massages over the years. She is one of the best and the only one I want to see when I'm on Maui now. read more

My time with Shayla was one of the best massages I've ever gotten, and I've received a lot of massages in my time. It was the perfect start to my vacation in Maui, making the rest of my stay magical and relaxing. Her technique was unique and her pressure was excellent. The room was cozy, welcoming and peaceful. Shayla truly is a natural healer! Her 90 min massage was pure heaven. From the moment you walk into her studio you feel relaxed. She has calming wave and bird music on, and uses her own concoction of natural massage oils that smelled and felt delicious! She also has a massage chair that can put you into multiple positions which aid in stretches while she's massaging you. I am a surfer and play volleyball and have really tight shoulders and back. Her touch was firm and she intuitively focused in on the areas that needed extra attention. She knew just what I needed to loosen up my tight muscles. I will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend her, thank you Shayla! read more

I like to consider myself as someone who is pretty in tune with my body. I see a PT monthly, Chiropractor a few times a year, and always get regular massage back in my home town. I am currently on vacation in Maui, and have travelled half way around the world with my 2 year old over the last few weeks, so yeah, I needed a good rub down! I read great reviews on Shayla, so decided to check her out. All I can say is WOW... Best massage I think I have ever had. She goes deep! She is super strong, and really delivered an amazing deep tissue massage for my stressed out muscles. I was super impressed. I'll definitely be back. She's amazing, and clearly has a talent for massage! read more

Shayla is amazing. I was visiting from Oahu and my left shoulder was acting up limiting my movement and mini vacation. I contacted her and got an appointment 2 hours later, she even stayed late to accomodate me. She worked on my shoulder to loosen it up and gave me some tips/exercises to help with alleviating the pain and improving range of motion. She is great and uses amazing aromatherapy. Awesome service and massage. I was bragging how good the massage to my GF, so she went and got one the next day ;her experience was superb as well. Thank you Shayla, next time I am in Maui, I am definitely getting a massage from you. Pors: - Ambiance, very soothing and calm - use of oils: smells and feels amazing - use of different techniques to loosen tight/ stressed muscles - discount for Kama'aina Cons: NONE ! read more

So i just got the best massage of my life. Shayla Massage. Located in Kihei. She has all of the state of the art equipment to assist in the therapy. I felt she truly cared about my concerns and was very informative durning the whole process. I have had sharp pains in my lower back for 2 weeks. After an hour, my back feels 10 years younger and the sharp pains are gone. I can twist and turn once again. Thank you so much! read more

I would total recommend this massage place for tourist like myself. It was very welcoming and healing. I get massages in my home town, but the island feel to this massage topped the charts. Also the natural oils like peppermint and lavender really made my skin feel great after all the ocean water damage. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I walked out feeling better then i have in a long time. Kind of like a natural high from my muscles being soo relaxed. I will book with her when i come back on my next vacation. Mahalo read more

Honestly the best Massage that I've ever had! I went to Shayla because of pain I was experiencing in my lower back and left hip area. I've been dealing with this pain from a past injury for 6 years and have gone to so many different massage therapist. When I walked in to Shayla's I was having a hard time walking, but by the end of the session was feeling so much better! That day I was still experiencing some pain, as she told me I would, but by the next day I was feeling nearly 100%! From seriously sharp pain to nearly 100% in a day is a miracle in my eyes. I can't recommend Shayla enough! read more

I have cervical degenerative discs and chronic pain for 6 years, seeing Shayla was a breakthrough for me. Shayla understood the origins of pain better than the top 5 neurosurgeons I have seen in LA. She worked many modalities and scenar therapy. I can't thank her enough. She put me on a new path to healing. The problem is finding someone as knowledgable as her when you don't live in Maui. I highly highly recommend seeing her. read more

Great service! Reasonable prices! Private and clean studio, was easy to find! It's been over a month since my last massage - I used to get one every 1-2 weeks because of some significant back and neck issues. We just moved to the island and I started working right away......things couldn't be any more stressful! A coworker recommended Shayla and I am forever grateful! Shayla took time to know me and all my aches and pains. Lomilomi massage is the way to go! She was amazing and I will be back! Mahalo! read more

Words are hard to describe what Shayla has done for me. I've dealt with injuries from a lifetime of playing soccer and within two sessions am feeling significant relief and healing. It is customary for me to always have a massage on every adventure that I am on. I read a lot of reviews and then choose. On my recent visit to Maui I chose Shayla for a 1.5 hour session. Best decision that I have ever made for a theraputic massage. Shayla sits with you for a few minutes, wants to know about your aches and pains and then gets to work. She is so easy to be with in a small space, so down to earth. I believe you leave as if you've known her forever, she is so down to earth...and this relaxes you instantly. She has a brand new massage table in which I have never experienced in all of my massages but boy does it make a difference for those of us well endowed in the breast department. There is a cutout in the table where you can deposit your breast. This in the end makes your back/body completely even when she starts massaging. The comfortable experience is so evident! The time went by too fast, had she not already had another appointment I would have extended mine. So now I'm hooked on Shayla and she's 2500 miles away! If you really want a stress free vacation, start with Shayla first....then go on your way to a beautiful vacation in Maui! Aloha! read more

By far the best massage I have ever had! If you are in Maui on vacation and want to treat yourself this is your place. Shayla is a wonderful person and and very good at her craft. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Mahalo Shayla! read more

We loved Shayla Massage so much my daughter & I both went twice in the week were visiting Kihei. On my initial visit I tried out the massage chair in the waiting room while my daughter had her massage. The chair was amazing! It worked out a deep knot under my shoulder blade before I even went in for my massage. Shayla was then able to give me a nice all over massage without spending so much time in a single area as often happens with me when I go in for massages. I was also hugely impressed with her massage table which is the most adjustable table I have ever encountered. Ladies if you are at all top heavy you will love the adjustable bust allowance. She was also able to elevate my head a bit so my sinuses didn't entirely plug up during my treatment. Lest you think the only great thing about Shayla is her technology, let me disabuse you of that notion. My massage was excellent. I left feeling quite relaxed and refreshed. On my second visit I tried out the foot massager while I waited which was also nice. read more

I was in Maui for a combination of business and pleasure. After getting my diving certification this week, I was quite sore from carrying tanks, swimming for hours and spending evenings on an awkward laptop. Unlike most massage therapists, Shayla starts each massage with explicit discussion of areas to be worked on, pain level, pressure level etc. Her technique is among the best I have ever encountered. She studied in Roseville, Calfornia with a renown healer and knows "active release," a simple, but specialized technique for releasing recalcitrant muscle pain. She is the only person I know who can do this locally and it totally rejuvenated several problem areas for me. Shayla is also a very intelligent, globally minded, sweet caring individual. I'll be seeing her whenever I am in town. Thanks Shayla! read more

My first Hawaiian massage. Amazing. If you're looking for a local experience call Shayla, you won't be disappointed, quaint little office in the neighborhood, professional and friendly. I'm going back next week. Perfect vacation stop. read more

I know a good massage, because I have been getting massages every other week for several years. Shayla is exactly what I was looking for and even more. She has great technique and combines it with the intuition of a true healer and she is such a kind and inspiring person. I had 2 treatments with Shayla and would go back to see her anytime! read more

Shayla is like a magical massage doctor. She knows what your problem areas are on the spot and works on releasing the tension and pain effectively. She somehow does a deep tissue massage without the pain and you are a different person when you walk out. I would recommend hot rocks as she explains it melts the tension away. I can't recommend her highly enough. I'll be back. read more

Shayla's massage is 5 star certainly but she does more than that. As a golfer I often get a stiff back. Shayla was able to figure out that it was my psoas muscle that was tight . She not only helped stretch it but also taught me how to stretch myself. It has done wonders for my back. read more

Scheduling was easy, directions to get to the location were clear. Most importantly, Shayla is an amazing therapist. My shoulders were really stiff and I needed them loosened up. She got right to work on the tight spots, and I emerged invigorated from the experience. Will definitely keep in mind for a subsequent visit to Maui. read more

Shayla is definitely the helpful person who was predicted in my fortune card for February. The muscles on the right side of my neck and right shoulder spasm and I could not move my neck, right shoulder, or right arm even the slightest without a lot of pain. My regular massage therapist was not open that day and I am so lucky to have found Shayla. Not only does she have the knowledge and a set of magical hands, she has also armed herself with a great arrsenal of TOOLS to help her clients. This is really what sets her apart from many other massage therapists. read more

I've had the pleasure of Shalya Massage for about 15 years. EVERY time I'm in Maui which is usually a few times a year, I drive from Lahaina to see Shayla and experience total relaxation. Shayla is very experienced and knows how to make my muscles give in and release tension so that I feel a bit like jello when I leave her. I would drive 100 miles to see her. She's the best on the island, hands down. Her studio is very comfortable and online booking so easy. Thanks again Shayla!! read more

I had the BEST massage ever! I have monthly massages at home, but my massage with Shayla was awesome! The relaxing atmosphere, beautiful, relaxing Hawaiian music playing. Very comfortable massage bed. She asked what areas that I needed some help with... and WOW...no more pain. I've been having a problem with my left knee and she found the right area, which no one else ever has, and she made my vacation so much better. Shayla used wonderful oils to help with the pain I was having and I've never felt better. I purchased some of the oils and to take home with me. I had informed Shayla that I have an old neck injury during my massage. She was able to gently massage and make my neck feel so good, that I was able to turn my neck more than I have been able to in such a very long time. A few days later I came down with a terrible migraine. I was able to contact Shayla and she help me with some natural remedies which really helped. I am going back to see her before I leave the islands. I have already told so many people how much she has helped me out while on vacation. What a blessing to find someone who loves to heal people naturally and cares so much about others. I will definitely see her and recommended her to everyone I know that comes to Maui! Thank you Shayla! read more

I've been getting bodywork from Shayla for about 6 years now whenever I'm in Maui . . .she's utterly amazing. I only wish I was on the island more often so I could see her regularly. She worked on my plantar fasciitis and resolved it completely in about 2 months - something I'd been working on for years without help from anyone else (including my doctors). She really knows her stuff! read more
