My husband and I came in the next day for a 90 minute couples massage. I had La Rue and my husband had Vinceanna. They were both great. The massage office is located in an office building with several other service professionals. The music and overall ambiance was good. We got a Lomi Lomi massage (or a mixture thereof). Oh man. This massage was so good. I have been a little overwhelmed with work so my husband booked me a 90 minute hot stone and deep tissue combo massage. My massage therapist, Thomas, was punctual, super friendly, efficient and just amazing. It can be difficult for me to find someone who will deliver the amount of pressure I want in my neck and shoulders, but when I asked him for deeper work he happily obliged. He also stayed in really clear communication with me, both verbally and physically, noticing little nuances that sometimes get missed- it felt like deeply intelligent and intentional massage work. I also want to say I'm a woman, and he came to my home when I was there alone. He made me feel incredibly safe and comfortable, to where I didn't even bristle when he worked on my stomach, an area I usually feel too vulnerable to let people work on, even if I've seen them several times. The hot stones were new to me and absolutely phenomenal, the heat helps melt any resistance to the work, so it can sink in deeply without being aggressive. Thomas is amazing, and I think that is obviously true of the whole business, given the excellent reviews on every platform. You need to book with these guys. I threw my lower back out and was in so much pain I could barely walk. I called Michelle on a Saturday afternoon and she was able to come to my house a few hours later. I was nervous that I had really hurt myself so I wanted to make sure the person who worked on me really knew what they were doing. When I spoke with her on the phone she told me exactly what kind of massage would be best for me and put my mind at ease. I later found out she regularly works with sports injuries so I definitely called the right person! She worked on me for a little over an hour and while I was still very sore when she was done, I could tell a difference right away! She made sure to tell me exactly what I should do to prevent further injury, lots of icing, and gave me a list of supplements I could take to help speed up the recovery process. She even gave me one of her tennis balls and showed me how I could do some gentle work on myself. I was worried I would still have to go to a chiropractor, which she gave me a recommendation for one just in case. Thankfully though the next day I could actually walk! And after a few days I am almost back to normal with out any chiropractic care! She was so sweet and even made sure to check up on me to make sure I was feeling better:) read more
