I called this place in the morning for a same day booking for three people, the gentleman who took the call was polite and returned the call within an hour. The place was small but very clean and comfortable. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Lilianna took care of me and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She called me by name which was a nice touch and checked up on the temperature, pressure, and everything in between frequently. I booked the 90-minute session and it really flew by. The place is clean, vibe is peaceful and relaxing and John was very helpful in treating my problem areas. Great kama'aina deals and I ended up buying a package because there was even better rates. As for the massage, it was perfect! Because of the shelter in place etc I haven't been able to get any chiro treatments and I wanted relaxation in addition to treating the pain. For those serious about deep tissue massages John is your guy. This was my first time in Maui and I didn't want to pay the expensive tourist spa fees. Just a thing to note: John runs his small business out of a room in his house, however he's a professional. I rather spend my money for quality of service instead of on maintenance overhead on the larger businesses. I came out feeling like a new person. During the massage you have the option to conversate and John has great conversations about the area and the places on island. He knows what he's doing with muscle groups and techniques. John's provides deep tissue massage. He's friendly and able to provide IN/OUT calls. Next time we plan on getting the massage in our air conditioned hotel room. John's technique is quite different than most, it's definitely deep tissue. He practically pushes out any tension you have out of your body from head to toe. read more

Booked this session for my husband whom has been doing lots of physical labor for work lately. Online booking was very helpful for scheduling, and Lomi Hanamana had lots of open availability on the weekend. I also had the opportunity to put my credit card information in. Location was convenient for us and interior was very nice and relaxing. The actual massage was something else. He mentioned that the pressure used was very subtle for a deep tissue massage and had little relief after the massage. Also mentioned that the massage table itself had BO odor to it, which made it hard to relax. After the massage came payment and the system that was used to store my credit card was not working. So he ended up having to pay for it, which was disappointing because it was supposed to be my treat to him. All in all, it was a nice place, he just needs someone that can actually work out his back muscles. read more
