Pdq spa service is unbelievable. I believe the text name was Greg was extremely knowledgeable and he was fast. He answered all of my questions and was able to fix my leak in my hot tub in a matter of minutes. I will highly recommend and I will use these guys going forward. read more

PDQ Spa is the real deal. Total pros who are responsive, fair, and reliable. We've hired them a few times over the years and are always glad we did. This year, we tried someone else when they were closed over the holidays. Big mistake. Thankfully PDQ has since fixed the problem. They can't always come on short notice, but are worth the wait. read more

We are very happy with the replacement of our pool pump. Greg made a few trips over to our place for the initial check-in and the actual pump installation. He ensured the circuit breaker was replaced to meet the proper electricity requirements before the replacement was done. He also provided additional tips on some related equipment. Overall, it was a great experience! read more

It's such a relief to find truly excellent, trustworthy service providers, and PDQ is just that. From Mercy handling all inquiries and scheduling to Greg providing knowledgable and excellent service on-site, this team is TOP NOTCH. I highly recommend using them if your hot tub is encountering any problems. read more

These guys are great. This is at least the 2nd time these folks have done superior work on my pool equipment. This time replaced my booster pump for my Polaris. Greg, the technician was awesome. Highly recommend. read more

Arrived 45 min late and then quoted me $821 dollars to replace my entire heater assembly only because a small plastic screw-on union was broken. The tech that came to my house said the part was no longer available so I thought I'd check for myself. Found it easily at an online spa parts store for $7 and ordered it. It fits perfectly. I also decided to check the price on that replacement heater. Turns out I could buy the model they quoted me for almost ONE THIRD of PDQ's price gouging quote. I'm willing to guess their $275 installation charge is also overblown. I have PDQ's ridiculous quote and it burns me up that I threw away $150 for their tech to come to my house and lie about parts availability. This is nothing short of price gouging people who aren't familiar with hot tubs. STAY AWAY from this company! read more

Call Paul. He is a great human and business person. He and his crew make sure things are done right. 1. His charges are totally fair. 2. They're always on time or they call early enough to let you know they're running behind so that your life is minimally impacted. 3. Their Diagnostics are totally all about what you need. They don't do upsells. 4. They chased down the warranty on our equipment for us. 5. They're just knowledgeable, good people doing the job right. read more

PDQ Spas provides tremendous Customer Service and professionalism from top to bottom. I just had my Tub repaired by Greg and he was on time, efficient and top notch. But beyond that, they took extra care to reach out to me regularly to notify me of when parts were delivered and then scheduled the repair promptly after the parts came in. With most businesses, I often have to harass them for updates....but with PDQ Spas they initiated updates and took the lead. Terrific work and thanks PDQ! read more

My spa has been out of service for almost two years due to bad chemistry management by me. I purchased the spa about 8 years ago from Costco. PDQ came out last summer and gave me a quote to have the heater replaced as well as piping since the manufacturer no longer made the old heater model. It was an expensive fix, so I waited till I had the cash. I called them back up about a month ago and gave them the thumbs up to proceed with the repair. I got a call about a week later letting me know the price of the heater replacement part had gone up and they wouldn't order until I approved the price change. I approved, they ordered. About 10 days later the part was in and they were ready to schedule for the next day. They were in and out in about 90 minutes. I was so impressed with the service and expertise. I couldn't be happier with their service. Thank you PDQ Spa Service! read more

We had issues with our pool pump tripping the breaker - turned out to be a bad pump. It was busy season and we were up against a deadline to get the pool up and going for my daughter's graduation party. PDQ was responsive, and Greg went out of his way to squeeze us in on two Saturdays (one to troubleshoot and one to replace pump). American Home Shield sent PDQ to us, and usually, the service from AHS vendors are subpar. Not so with PDQ. I forget the name of the gal in the office, but she was so kind and it is clear that customer service is priority. Thanks to her, and especially to Greg, for helping us in a pinch. read more

Trust these guys to save the day! With a broken tub and freezing temps looming they were professional, courteous with a sense of urgency and a work ethic rivals the USPS [rain, snow sleet...]. Thanks Paul and Greg! read more

I called on Monday morning and spoke with very courteous Paul about my dead hot tub. Since the outside temperature was freezing, I worried about a frozen hot tub. He assured me they would get service to me as soon as possible and sooner if the temp took a sudden downturn. He called back on Tuesday, ready to schedule on Wednesday. Greg, very nice and knowledgeable repairman arrived and replaced the heater for a very reasonable sum. In short, great service! read more

I reached out to PDQ in need of a remedy following an awful experience with another hot tub company. They were amazing, professional, knowledgeable and provided us with a much needed fix to our situation. I only wish I had initially gone through this company. Thanks PDQ we are once again soaking our stresses away. read more

Amazing Service! Paul was super communicative and provided updates about the status of the repair timeframe. The lead time was a bit long, however it is their busy season and great service is worth waiting for. We got a free Hot Springs Spa and it didn't work when we plugged it in. The repair person was on time and quickly diagnosed a GFCI issue. The repair happened immediately. The repair person also explained how to properly care for the tub and gave us some insider tips as well. We are enjoying the spa and the peace of mind provided by PDQ. Thank you! read more

Call this company. I had a heating element replaced, Greg showed up diagnosed the issue and had a replacement in the van. Had me up and going in 30 min. Thank you, Greg read more

Paul, the owner, was affable and easy to work with. I chose PDQ Spa Service after calling two other highly rated spa repair companies on Angie's List: Oregon Hot Tub, whose representative did not have very good phone skills, charged $149 for the first 30 minutes of a service call (compared to $89 for PDQ) and M & M Spa Repair Company who did not answer either of two phone calls. The service technician arrived at the midpoint of the two hour arrival window, repairing two leaks. After the first half-hour, the hourly rate was $95. Parts totaled $67 and labor $160 for total of $227, but with an Angie's list discount, the final bill was $204. read more

Courteous, quick and a good price. I love these guys; they've serviced my spa twice in the past 18 months. Phone calls quickly returned, and each time the appointment was made within a day or two. The spa tech Greg is sharp and fast; replaced a few parts each time and all was working well. He's given me all kinds of good info on how to keep it running well. Fair pricing, too. read more

Great, professional service. I made the appointment in the morning & my hot tub was repaired that afternoon. Paul made a follow up call to make sure I was happy with their work. Absolutely. read more

Easy and pleasant to work with and prompt--they arrived on time (actually a little early) and got our spa fixed quickly. I also appreciated how well he explained what he was doing and the advice he gave us. read more

Reasonably priced, very timely, awesome service. Don't waste your time calling anyone else.

Paul and Greg have been just great over the years. These guys really know what service is. They are fair and trustworthy. Today, in a snowstorm, Greg braved the elements and replaced the control panel on our hot tub. I can't say enough good things about this firm and their dedication to doing a good job. read more

Ordered parts before arriving and diagnosing the problem. They said they left a message but I haven't had voicemail service in over five years. read more

We have had an ongoing problem with our hot tub over heating and PDQ was quick to come out diagnose the issue and fix the problem. Greg was courteous, smart and quick. The pricing was upfront with no surprises and very reasonable. The owner Paul actually called the next day to make sure everything was working properly. Thanks for the great service! They offer great professional service, and Paul located and fixed my jet tub's problem quickly. They carry the parts with them, so there is no need to have a second appointment, which I really appreciate! :) read more

So, not happy with PDQ SPA Service. I called and talked to Paul about my non-working Jacuzzi tub. The switch wasn't working (water was coming out of it) and the motor was buzzing. The parts on the tub have a lifetime warranty. I gave Paul the model number and serial number as it's registered with Jacuzzi. Paul asked if it was. He said the switch and motor most likely needs replacement. Well the Tech showed up with no parts. Said he didn't have any info (model number and serial number) which I said Paul had. I call Paul again to set up a new date. It would be awhile as I was out of town. I called again last week and we figured Wednesday could work, he'd call back. He did. Tuesday. We set up for Wednesday afternoon. The tech arrive with all the parts and fixed the tub in about 1/2 an hour. That, I'm happy with. The bill for $270, I'm not!! I was billed for $145 for the 15 mins the tech was here the first time!! The service call should have been $125. Then I was told I got a discounted time for the second visit for $125, which was the normal service charge. All would have been fine if the tech was prepared the first time. I would have happily paid the $125. I called Jacuzzi and they said I'm more than welcome to order the warranted replacement parts and fix it myself. That, I'll probably do next time. read more

PDQ is great. I have used them twice for hot tub repairs on an older spa and both experiences have been excellent. I can be a little difficult to get ahold of but when Paul received my message he was diligent in his efforts to communicate, even when I was not able to reply for a day or two. We got an appointment set up, he worked to find a time that would work for me, and they got the job done. In my experience Paul makes each customer and their project a priority. Greg arrived on time, performed the repairs quickly, called to let me know right away that he was finished and made a couple of recommendations, and I could not be happier. Paul and Greg are both a pleasure do work with and I happily recommend PDQ. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the repair service I got from PDQ. They came out promptly and quickly determined the problem, which was going to require the help of an electrician. PDQ ordered the part for me and had it sent to my home so the electrician could install it for me, saving the expense of another home visit by PDQ. They were quick, courteous and reasonably priced. Thank you Paul and Dave! read more

So I decided to call based on the reviews here for my spa which has two issues, it is leaking from inside the tub and some parts underneath need replacing. Paul advised they do not do structural repair, which is strange for a spa repair company but is fine (I am putting this here so others know). I then asked if he could fix some parts and from there it basically sounded like he didn't even want to help or ask questions. After worrying about access to the plumbing rather than what was wrong (which I reassured several times everything is accessible), he then says he would have to charge me $75 just to come to Gresham from Hillsboro. This is on top of the $125 service fee (covers first 30 minutes) and $95 an hour after that. So that adds up to $295 for two hours of labor. Actual plumbers and electricians charge less and have to do much more than a spa technician. Paul told me I was wrong about that one lol, just do the math man. My advice, go to your local Spa store as they always have someone looking for work at a reasonable price who is actually willing to help you and ask questions. read more
