PDP's is a phenomenal addition to the culinary scene in the 'Burg and is as good as it gets when it comes to small town pizza -- with bonus points for delivery! We have tried nearly all of their specialty pizzas at this point and we have not been disappointed once. Thought has gone into each of the specialty pizza recipes and each has a unique flavor profile. Our favorite is probably the CBR (chicken, bacon, and ranch) but all are worth trying. The crust is excellent too -- golden and crispy on the outside but just chewy enough on the inside and never greasy or soggy. Delivery times are usually overstated (they'll say 45 minutes but pizza will arrive in 30) and staff is friendly. If you live in or near the 'Burg, you definitely need to order up some PDP's for delivery!

This is an old train station. Loads of character !

Crust is the bomb. Soft, chewy and full of flavor. Toppings are standard fare. Great ice tea.

Main Street Pizza is an icon in the enchanting, little village known as Ovid, Michigan. If you've…read moreever had the chance to visit Ovid and stay for a spell you more than likely have devoured a slice of the cheesy heaven known as Main Street Pizza, or at the very least spotted one of their menus posted up on somebody's fridge. If you know someone from Ovid, chances are they either worked at, or somebody in their family worked for Main Street Pizza at some point. It's like a rite of passage for Ovid teens. I don't get to hang out in Ovid very often. I'm probably there once a year or even once every other year, but I know that no Ovidian adventure is complete without a pizza from Main Street. Visiting Ovid and not having a Main Street pizza would be like going down to New Orleans and not having some jambalaya or crawfish. Or going to New England and not feasting on a bowl of clam chowder. It's just wrong. Is Main Street the best pizza in the whole, entire, fucking world? Probably not, but for a small rural community on the outskirts of Owosso it's pretty damn delectable. I wish we had one here in Louisiana. The pizza is very satisfying. If you have a hankering for a straight up, classic, cheesy pizza with no bullshit you will definitely be very pleased. The prices are reasonable and the pizzas tend to be huge and the toppings ... Good Lord! They do not scrimp on the toppings. Back in the day before I turned vegetarian, I used to order their Hawaiian pizza quite a bit. The pizza would literally be heavy from all the ham and pineapple. By pineapple I'm talkin' about big, huge-ass, honest-to-God chunks of fresh, juicy pineapple. The sweet juices from the pineapple would merge with the gooey cheese .... Mmmmm. So freaking divine. Naughty for your arteries, but nonetheless divine. As other reviewers have mentioned they do have bread sticks, wings, subs, and salads. I have only had the pizza so I can't comment on anything else, but I have seen their salads and just like their pizzas they are huge with generous amounts of toppings such as tomatoes, cheese, croutons, and hardboiled egg. They also advertise take-and-bake pizzas (ala Papa Murphy's) and gluten free crust is available. Can you believe it? Gluten free in Ovid! Hallelujah! Praise Baby Jesus! Who would have thought? The icing on the cake- these dudes are open until midnight on the weekends. When we were visiting our Ovid peeps back in July, my brother-in-law decided somewhere around 11pm or so that he had a hankering for some Main Street. He called them up and his pizza was ready for him piping hot and awesome within 20 minutes. Pizza tastes even after midnight. Just don't feed it to the Mogwai.

Overcharged me for a medium pizza. The main street in saint johns never charge almost 20$ for a…read moremedium pizza

My Wife is a huge pizza fan. She could eat it every day. So I mentioned in passing that this might be a different type of setting. And it was indeed. Super clean. Red and black all the way through. We both ordered a beer and My Wife got a personal pan pizza. It was eight dollars with two dollars per topping. I ordered the Michigan chicken, cherry salad. We had got there around five and the place was steadily filling up as we sat. Mary, our waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. We felt fairly good about what we had ordered. But let me tell you once we got it, it blew our minds. My wife's pizza was outstanding. She said maybe the best she's ever had. I rolled my eyes and then she offered me a bite. And it was. Truly. A lot of times when you order pizza it's falling off of the crust. It's uneven. This was perfection. She couldn't believe it. Frankly neither could I. The crust was soft and you couldn't tell it from the toppings. No separation nothing falling off and cooked so well. My chicken cherry salad is a favorite in Michigan and they did it right. Each portion was great and more than enough for the both of us. We talked about it the rest of the night. If you have the chance, make sure you visit. It's one of a kind and one of the best experiences we have had for old favorites made new.

Our server addressed us right away when we arrived and our carryout was ready within the time committed. The pizza was piping hot when we got it back to the camper. We had a deep dish Hawaiian, large with pepperoni and bacon and a meat lovers pizza. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night and had a deep dish BLT , a chicken bacon ranch pizza and an order of garlic cheese curds. We very much enjoyed the pizza and curds and will be coming back when in the area again.

The wine list offers unique yet affordable options and is curated well. Numerous craft beers are available on draught as well. We started with their signature appetizer -- the roasted garlic platter. Outstanding! Two whole garlic cloves, slow roasted for hours and accompanied by roasted red peppers and Boursin cheese, served with crostinis. We then built our own Chicago-style pizza. The key to any pizza is the crust, and the crust is even more important with Chicago-style pizzas. They have it nailed at Roma's. It was the first time I can remember that I actually ate the crust-ends on a Chicago-style pizza! Ask for a side of their meat sauce for dipping -- decades old recipe that is truly delicious. The mozzarella in the pizza was also quite memorable -- It's stretchiness was an 11 on a scale of 1-10! The facility feels cozy but actually has a large capacity, including a large banquet room. A recently improved and expanded patio offers a tremendous al fresco dining experience in the summer - including live music. The new bar top and tables are reclaimed Shiawassee County barn wood and are gorgeous. Definitely a great night out!

There is plenty of seating and you really don't (at least I didn't) hear the noise from bowling. We began reviewing what looked like an excellent menu even though I knew I was getting a burger. We both ordered a bowl of soup. Today's flavor was Garden Vegetable Beef. Translated-flavorless broth with lots of potatoes. Beef was decent. My wife ordered a chicken wrap. She said it was OK but gave her an aftertaste she couldn't get rid of. My burger was perfectly cooked. I ordered rare expecting overcooking. It arrived somewhere between rare and medium rare. Perfect in my book. Burger was very good. Service was OK-not terrible but not excellent. Adequate. When it came time to pay, I noticed the two prices-credit card and cash. They insisted debit cards count as credit cards. They don't at every other place we've been to that charges extra for credit cards. Our server said, "that's the way it is". Burger was excellent but not good enough to go back based on the other two items we ordered.
