He answered all of our questions and explained everything very thoroughly. We also needed to have our siding replaced and Wesley said he was happy to work with any siding contractor we chose. He offered to demo the deck and install new flashing and ledger boards before the siding was replaced, then come back and install the new deck after the siding was done. Wesley said they would get a permit and inspection. While the other deck contractors either took several days to send a quote or ghosted us, Wesley sent a very detailed and competitive quote with better/best options hours after meeting with us, and we hired him. We met Kym at the showroom in Kennesaw to look at all of the decking and railing options and were very impressed with everything. We decided to go with the Trex Transcend Lineage Jasper and Trex Signature Black aluminum railing. Kenneth came out to take measurements and followed up with awesome renderings showing the deck from five different angles. Eddie, Thomas, and Carlos demoed the old deck and installed new flashing and ledger boards in one day. After the siding contractor replaced the siding, Eddie returned with Israel and Antonio to build the new deck. They finished the deck in seven days and it looks amazing, a night and day difference from the old deck. Our favorite details include the post brackets that secure the posts to the concrete while keeping them off the ground and away from water, the switchback stairs, each decking board is one continuous piece (no butt joints), color matched screws, and the cocktail rail. The inspector said "they did a nice job for you." We were very impressed with the entire Brawner team, love our new deck, and give them our highest recommendation.

Everyone at Decks and More was professional, friendly and amazing! Their implementation was of the highest quality and their attention to detail was incredible. Everyone I worked with was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure I understood the process, and comfortable with the work that was going to be done. I met with several deck builders before choosing Decks and More, and so grateful I went with them. What a fabulous experience and I LOVE my new deck!!! I would recommend Decks and More over and over again!! Can't thank Frank and his team enough.

First of all, I'm not sure Yelp is the best place to find a contractor, but I do not understand the…read morebad reviews. Well maybe I do a little because Frank is busy. He's busy because he does great work. If you are not serious about doing your project, I can see how Frank would not be serious about doing your project. We contracted Decks & More to replace our old deck with a deck and screened-in porch. Their quote was about 30% less than another deck company in Atlanta (company is large and has a sales team if that helps). The quote was about 1.5x what it would take to get contractors to do each part of the job individually (deck guy, roofing guy, electrician, painters, etc.). We decided that managing the project ourselves was not worth it. We were right. Frank came to the house for an initial consultation. He has a huge portfolio of options that he has done before. Frank is flexible with brands of decking, windows, etc. to meet our requests (other company had a deal with a composite decking manufacturer that they had to use). After a budgetary quote, he then requested a small deposit to begin designing the job. We liked this option because it avoids people wasting his time as mentioned in other reviews. We worked with Frank on a number of designs. We agreed on a few changes during the job too. Before starting construction, Frank puts everything in writing and follows it. We liked this as well. We made sure that all options and specifications that we wanted were in the contract, and Frank did the same. We all understood what the scope was. When we had a change during the project, Frank would scope the cost, sometimes it was no cost, and we would sign an addendum. Frank's team is unbelievably expert in putting up decks. They are fast. They really know what they are doing. Getting the painting done was a little of a delay, but Decks & More does not have full-time painters. And all painters are busy during the pandemic. We are glad that they could handle everything with the project. Electrical: installed a new circuit breaker, new exterior and interior power outlets, new porch light, new ceiling fan, recessed lighting. Paint: both interior and exterior paint and stain. Structural: installed roof, shingles, integrated roof into house roof, changed the gutter path, installed new gutters. Do yourself a favor and check out their website. Some pretty amazing projects.
