This is one of my favorite places in the Tampa / St. Pete area! Saturdays are definitely the busiest days, but Sundays are fun too! The bar is usually popping, so service may be a bit slow, but they are working as fast as they can. The ambiance is truly one of a kind. Everyone is dancing in a bathing suit and having so much fun. I recently had the tacos here, and they were freaking delicious! PCI has really stepped up their food game. I can't wait until I can come back! read more

Ordered the carne asada burrito and got a few pieces of steak and this big chunk of fish. Good thing I'm not allergic. My friend also has a citrus allergy so she ordered a green tea shot made into a drink, and they gave her a slice of orange in it. When she asked for it to be remade, the bar tender made a fuss about it and ended up just taking the orange out and pouring the drink into another cup. read more

Burger was awesome, fries were hot and great, as were the drinks. The view was spectacular watching the sun set over volleyball courts. Bar staff was friendly and accommodating. It would have been 5 stars, but the bar top was gross and paint peeling. It clearly needs to be refinished. Resting your arms on the edge and paint peels off. That was the reason for the ding of 1 star. read more

If you are looking for a younger and hipper party bar on Saint Pete Beach this will be your go to spot. It's connects to the Post Card Inn and sits right on the beach with volley ball courts attached. Also one of the few beach spots with both a dance floor and a DJ booth that doesn't just play oldies, the music was mostly hip hop and EDM or a mix of the two. Plenty of grazing drinks available too in addition to all the other cocktails you'd expect. read more

This review is for the bar alone because the hotel experience is totally separate... I stayed at the hotel for four days recently and we got all of our drinks from this bar. We had the best service you could ask for from all the bartenders and staff. The drinks were amazing and reasonably priced and it was such a quick and easy walk from the beach to go back and forth through the day for refills. The evening is were great with fun music and a DJ and dancing. Everyone was truly having an amazing night every evening. The one issue I had was they closed a little early some evenings (earlier then the posted closing time) and this was a little frustrating but all in all we loved everything about this bar! read more

UNSAFE!! I was at the PCI Tiki Bar a couple weekends ago (9/28). To make a long story short, I was verbally abused by the DJ and Physically attacked by 3 bouncers who work there. I requested two songs from the DJ, which he agreed to play. I tipped him $2. He didn't play either song, so I gave him $3 more. Still no songs. I gave him another $5. Still no songs. I gave him a final $5, 15 dollars in total for two songs. Awhile later, the DJ was on break, and I said "If you don't want to play the songs, fine, just give me my $15 back." This outraged the DJ for some reason, I guess he wanted to prove to me he was in charge. I was physically removed from PCI Tiki Bar by 3 large men, and I never got my $15 back. I called the General Manager, Chris Hammons, today (apparently, they don't have a Bar Manager...a clear example of the insane running the asylum), and he offered no help. All I wanted was my $15 back and an apology. Neither was forthcoming, because he had heard negative reports about me from the same people who assaulted me. Talk about trying to cover their Rear Ends. I wished I would have videotaped the assault. Since I was thrown out before I could talk to the witnesses, I was left without witnesses...my word against theirs. PCI Beach Bar at the Postcard Inn is the Best waterfront local hangout on St Pete Beach with paddle board rental, live band, sweet beach bar, a great local crowd, and a cool surfer vibe! The beach bar can get busy and sometimes it definitely takes awhile to get a drink. Postcard Inn has some of the best Margaritas, Pina coladas, and Strawberry Daquiris I've ever had! The beach shack menu could use a larger selection. PCI Beach Bar has TV's for watching sports and added a 2nd tiki hut bar to accommodate even more people faster! PCI Beach Bar offers rentals of paddle boards and has free corn-hole, beach volleyball, and showers ! You can rent beach cabana chairs with extra padding and a built in shade for $20 per day. Parking is limited on the premises at the hotel for day guests and the lot fills up quick. The surrounding neighborhood has "no parking" signs everywhere. I recommend parking by Upham beach's public parking lot 2 blocks away and walking down the beach to PCI Beach Bar. PCI Beach Bar is conveniently next to 4 other beach bars Jimmy B's, Toasted Monkey, Sand Bar Beach Bar, and Salty's Tiki Bar so it's great for Beach Bar hopping with a view of the beach! I usually prefer to eat at Jimmy B's or Toasted Monkey over PCI because they have a larger selection of seafood menu items. The PCI Snack shack serves typical bar food for $12-$15 including wings, nachos, conch fritters, popcorn shrimp, burgers, chicken fingers, fish n chips, mani mahi sandwiches, and bbq pulled pork sandwiches. The best thing about PCI Beach Bar is the lively atmosphere and live music! I look forward to enjoying many more beachside concerts here in the future! read more

The beach bar is very nice but be careful not to use your credit card here I noticed an unauthorized charge by the trash bag half blonde half dark haired bartender she put in for a tip! I called as soon as I caught it the next day I spoke with the manager Diego whom assured me I would get a call from management or the F&B director I never got a call! Whenever I called back asking to speak to the F&B manager Igor I would get transferred to his VM with a full mailbox. Now I have to go out there to handle this issue in person but I will make sure my money is returned and a police report will also be filed against this thief! Keep an eye out on your bill! read more

I got married at PCI in 2016 and we finally went back this week. My husband and I were so excited to revisit that it was all we could talk about . Unfortunately we were so disappointed that we will never go back. The food was terrible, the service was even worse. The shrimp was so over cooked, it was near inedible. The service was so slow that we almost left- it took 15 minutes to get waters and we were the only patrons. Great wedding venue two years ago. Clearly under poor management now. I will be shocked if they are still in business this time next year. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We actually had a great experience at the outdoor bars here and spent plenty of time and money here. However, the blonde female bartender at the indoor bar could not have been more rude and unprofessional. She had a MAJOR attitude problem from the beginning. Me and my party all wanted waters to go along with our drinks, however, because she assumed we wouldn't be ordering any, she rolled her eyes and shoved the waters at us. Then, much later after trying to get her attention in the nearly empty indoor bar, she commented that she didn't want to serve us because "our conversation was hostile"--my party was speaking about our day and who was going to order an Uber to get home. We were not drunk, not rowdy, and certainly not hostile. I hesitate to leave bad Yelp reviews however, we were also unable to get a managers attention to make them aware of the situation. Do better next time, especially for customers that routinely spend their time and hard earned money in your establishment. read more

Solomon the bartender at PCI bar was the most disrespectful bartender I have ever met. I asked him if I could order food with 15 minutes until the kitchen closed since I just wanted to order shrimp or a small meal, and he told me that the kitchen was closed. I just believe that it was super unprofessional that he had to be dishonest since he was just lazy and did not feel like ordering it for me. read more

PCI is a cool place to drink and hangout. But the restaurant inside the hotel lacks in both service and food quality. No joke the server picked a napkin off the floor and placed on our table with the intention of putting my sister's drink on it... I did enjoy the lobster bisque. read more

We ate lunch here. This is attached to our hotel. I ordered a mahi mahi sandwich with sweet potato fries and hubby got the burger. You don't expect to get such delicious food at a small poolside cafe like this, but it was so good. The service was great as well. read more

Cool beach bar atmosphere but it the place was stormed by frat bros and sorority sisters. Place was busy but still took way too long to get a drink. The PCI bar is an extension of the Postcard Inn at the Beach at St. Pete beach. It's wedged right in between the pool and the beach. Expect to pay resort prices - $6 for a can of Jai Alai IPA. They do run drink specials and draft specials (mostly on the Anheuser Busch selections). The music is loud and there's lots of pretty people in skimpy bathing suits. The food is decent for bar/grill type food. I had a decent Pina Colada. The main problem is with the bartenders/servers - none of them seemed very warm or friendly - it was more like, let's get this transaction over so I can move on to the next one (especially if you wanted to close out, rather than run a tab). Granted some of the patrons seemed liked jerks and razzed the bartenders a bit - so maybe they just have chips on their shoulders due to rowdy clientele. I'm also pretty sure you don't have to be staying here to drink here - there were lots of people without PCI pool bands. read more

The last time I came here, I was erroneously charged for a meal that I never ordered! I called and complained as soon as I saw the charge and was told it would be taken off the next business day. They NEVER refunded me. I called back and spoke to the general manager who was not only unhelpful, but completely rude. Make sure you do not leave an open tab at the bar.
