I would have liked to use this local service for my computer, but PC Tech is not a place I'll ever consider going to. I called them up today asking if they offered a certain service and the answer I got was barely intelligible. What I heard was something or the other, and I asked if the person could repeat what they said. "We do it all." "So installing RAM--" "We do it all." Said something else. "Could you say that one more time? I couldn't understand--" I was hung up on. Don't give them your business, that people-facing staff member didn't seem to give a flying f about prospective customers. I called up Dothan PC afterwards, still incredulous at being hung up on, and received a call back within 10mins. I shakily explained what I needed, had some questions back and forth, and then they told me to stop by the shop and drop off the computer to assess it later this week. Was that so hard, PC Tech? Excellent service. Highly recommend. My computer had essentially become a paperweight. I took it to Geek Squad initially-- they absolutely would not even look at it because it is a compact style computer. I saw really good reviews on Facebook for PC Tech and gave them a call. They were happy to help, said the compact computer was no issue and I dropped it off within an hour of the phone call. Three days later I have my computer back, running great! The price was very affordable and I am thoroughly pleased. My family will be using PC Tech for all of our computer services going forward. read more

We wrote to them emergency style on a Sunday and they promptly wrote to us Monday early morning and told us to bring in our Macbook Pro. We had installed a screen ourselves and couldn't get it to work. We were told it could take up to a few days for them to diagnose the issue, but we were called to come back in less than an hour after having dropped off the laptop. The issue was a faulty wire. They were honest and charged us way less than other repairmen. Will definitely be returning for all of my mac issues. read more
