AC unit stopped holding temperature. I had a guest coming over for the evening and called Cosby's at about 2:30pm. Within 35 mins I had a repairman at my home. My AC unit froze up. The serviceman (Ethan) was very professional, explained the problem and what needed to be done to fix the problem. An hour and a half later my AC was up and running and we didn't have to spend the evening sweating. The bill was very reasonable. They will be my go to for any future problems. Thank you Ethan. I just recently used Cosby's Heating & Cooling - Appliance Services. My A/C went out when we were in a heat wave this month (June). I thought I would probably have to wait another day for them to come out since the temperatures were so high and they had calls from a lot of people, but a guy came shortly after lunch the same day I called. He fixed it within 30 minutes. That's the 3rd time I have used them. Once a few years ago for my A/C. Same GREAT service then also, and once for my refrigerature. All three times they were prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable. As long as they are in business I will never use anyone else. Our 17 year old Maytag Dryer needed attention. Drum rotation was iffy but heating was good. Great experience with office staff and technician. Replaced the belt and idler pulley. Cost was definitely reasonable and expected range. I highly recommend this company for any job they cover for appliances. Technician was knowledgeable and had the replacement parts in his van. Very polite when setting up the appointment and saying what what wrong with my washing machine. This was for a home warranty repair and they definitely did not lower our priority because of that. I find it hard to give 5 stars when it costs a lot every time I see Dennis.....but a guys gotta make a living, and I do believe these folks do it honestly. They have serviced our AC/fridge for over 10 years, replacing the central AC unit last year.They had made several visits to "fix" it, but eventually running 24/7 beat it down!!! I balked at the estimate given, but after several phone calls to other nearby places, I gave Dennis the go ahead. Their price was significantly lower than any other estimate I got, significantly! I feel that every time Dennis has ome out to service something, he has done it as quickly,(same day!) and cheaply as possible. Woohoo! They are as good as it gets to have a professional job done right and done right the first time. They quoted me a very competitively fair price to install a new air conditioning system and duct work and all components in an older house that never had such comfort luxuries. They said they will be there a certain timeframe and they showed up exactly as said, they quoted me a certain price and didn't charge a penny more, everything from attitude to the job itself is just perfect and we are amazed. No complaints whatsoever. Even the nice lady in office was very punctual and awesome. We highly recommend them. read more
