This is going back over three years ago. Since that time, without fail, I have been met with affordable prices and highly superior service. Jin is the owner of this store, and he knows his stuff! I now live in Manhattan and travel back here whenever my computer needs servicing. Case in point: A few months ago, my Dell laptop kept shutting off and then wouldn't turn on. I panicked and brought it to GeekSquad at the BestBuy by Union Square. There, I was told that the motherboard was likely dead and they needed me to pay over 50 dollars to ship the computer to Texas for at least two weeks for further diagnostic testing. I became even MORE panicked. Then, I called Jin. I made the 30 minute trip to his store in Brooklyn, and he immediately identified the likely cause as the fan overheating. He cleaned the fan, and after that not only did my Dell turn on, but it has NEVER turned off on me again since! And he charged me a reasonable $75 for the service. Jin also does surveillance systems. He does hardware -- and software. He is VERY professional and has never let me down. I urge all of you to go to his store, and I assure you that you will not be disappointed by the pricing or the service you receive. Jin is a man of integrity and has always been reliable in getting my computer back on time or even staying late to get it done the same day, as he did when my Dell fan needed to be cleaned. This is the BEST computer store in NYC as far as I am concerned. In 2019, I visited this shop to upgrade my GTX 1060 to a RTX 2070TI... little did I know I would be making the biggest mistake of my life. The shop owner took advantage of the little knowledge I had with gaming PCs and overcharged me an arm and a leg for a graphics card, additional hard drive I hadn't requested, installing an SD card I had already purchased, upgrading my motherboard and CPU. He slapped on a few stickers to the case and called it a day charging me nearly 3k for few improvements. After breaking down the receipt I noticed he charged me over 1k for LABOR. I never confronted them because, again, I hadn't had the experience or knowledge building computers. 5 years later, it's a whole different story. DO NOT trust this shop, DO NOT trust the owner(Charles) regardless of whether and when they're reopening the shop. They are NOT trustworthy people that will rip anyone off first chance they get.

So off I went in search of antenna . . . Best Buy: "Huh? Antenna? Wifi? Dunno. Maybe try xyz?" xyz (Local independant electronics store who's name I can't remember): "We don't carry anything like that. Maybe Radio Shack?" Radio Shack: "We could special order something for you. Computer Haven front register guy: "Hmm. Don't think we have anything like that. I'll check." He goes in back. Another guy comes out and I show him the old antenna. First he says no, then pauses . . . he takes the antenna and looks at it a little more closely and says "Just a second" and goes in the back. A minute or two later he comes out with another antenna. "This was from a broken router I was about to throw away. It's a little larger, but has the same connector so *should* work." Me: "How much?" Him: "$5?" Avrumi told me that he could do better than what I brought him and he did. He transferred my data and after a few calls, told me it was ready.
