I went to San Diego for vacation. It was 11:00 PM and I was hoping to find a place that would deliver a wax pen to my hotel. I found PB Marijuana through google. For the most part, the reviews were okay, so I thought I would give this place a try. I purchased "ISH" hybrid disposable wax pen for $60.00. To be honest, the service was great, but their products suck. When I received my pen, i opened the box and took a few puffs while walking back to my hotel room. When I got there, the pens battery completely died, or it was clogged. I contacted them right away, and they responded, "Try warming your cartridge with a hair dryer (lowest heat setting) or by rubbing it between your hands to warm up the oil and change its viscosity. You can also poke a toothpick or safety pin gently in the hole to help de-clog it. I copy pasted so sorry if it sounds weird!" If they have a template built out for scenarios like this, I can tell they receive complaints like this all the time! Again, the service was great. They said that the driver will come back and replace the defected one. I received my second pen and it worked well for the night (I took about 5~ hits). The next day I went back home, and that night I decided to take a few more hits. Now my pen is blinking! Which means it's either clogged, or out of wax! Such B.S. $60.00 down the drain. I think the service is pretty reasonable and the people working are very professional. But I bought a stiizy pen for about $30-40 and it worked for a few hours and then the battery died. Placed my order through the website and they called me to tell me that I needed to text them a picture of myself holding my ID "for the safety of their drivers"'. I was hesitant but again I complied. I gotta give it to you guys, at I begining, it was all perfect and me and my friends and wife loved it so much that even my friends started ordering from here... but it got all bad not too long ago. I dont know what happend with their customer service, and their good will on making their clients very satisfied like we used to be. It all started with an unsealed container that was supposed to be MOON ROCKS, not MOON DUST. In the picture that was up on their website was showing a false advertisement with MOON ROCKS, but delivery, at least for us, was unsealed and not even one moon rock in the container. I swear it looked like someone had changed the moon ROCKS for Kief dust, and guess what, when we called to let them know of the issue, they changed the picture right away. The manager told us they will send a code for our next purchase, but with a catch, we had to spend $100 dollars to be able to apply the code... what help right ? Then, we called again. WOW Just when I thought they cannot get any worse. We ordered from them again giving another chance after they kept us waiting for 4 hours on a previous order and never showed up. (See last review) They gave me a promo code claiming they would right that wrong with a discount next time. So I ordered and when the driver showed up, he very condescendingly said there would be no discount due to needing to order way more product (contradicting the discount and words I was told on the last screw up) When I tried to explain the contradiction the driver became rude, condescending and dismissive. Then after taking my money, and the conversation escalated due to his handling of the situation and rudeness, he tried to drive off with my money and not giving me the product. It is rare in today's climate, that you find a businesses employee that is so positive, polite, and helpful. Other dispensary's that I have dealt with in the past, seem to have employees that are condescending when faced with questions about their products. First, delivery fees are ridiculous. I ordered 1/4 for 80 and with delivery fees it came out to be 105, AND they're pushy about tipping. I live close to PB, a $25 delivery fee is INSANE. On weedmaps you'll find many dispos who don't charge a delivery fee if you spend 40-60, AND most shops give first-time users a goody bag.
