Visited California for a couple of days, and finished off in Barrio Logan, of the SD area. The Harbor Collective shop was super close to where I was staying, and had great reviews, so I decided to check it out. This was my first dispensary experience, and it was nothing but wonderful. Jasmine addressed all of my needs and concerns, while at the same time engaging me in conversation regarding my trip. We picked a distillate inhaler, some chews, and a couple disposable pens. Forgetting cash, and only having my credit card, she even held my items for purchase, until I was back. My first experience was so great, that I decided to come back one last time, before departing. This time, Angelica helped me pick out some more chewies. Jasmine was also there, and I was able to let her know how everything turned out from my first stop. This is a great old school style dispensary. It's a small room with a great selection and the place reeks like fresh buds. They have good prices on top shelf flower compared to their competition. They offer 10% off for Happy Hour between 7-10am. That's cool because other places cut theirs off at 9am. Located next to the Naval Pacific Fleet so a bunch of real life heroes buy their bud here. Overcharged me for an eighth ($70) that most California dispensaries have for mid $40-$50. Strain: Rainbow Runtz made by Traditional Customer service also sucked. Felt like I was condescendingly pawned off to another employee by one of the bud tenders. To make things worse, he made it super awkward and gave off this confrontational vibe when I said something about it. Minus the wonderful security guard at the front of this "establishment" I would not recommend. They were rude. Not helpful, and despite being Promoted as An "absolute extract dispensary" , they had a very limited supply. I get that we are in the world Of COVID, but that' should be an acceptable reason to be rude. I'm deaf and MOST businesses are More than happy to treat my language deprivation as a reason to go mask-less, use pen and paper, or find a way to communicate. This review is specific to their return policy and overall employee knowledge of said return policy. This isn't my first dispensary, I know you typically can't return things because of the nature of what it is and get the safety element of it. I bought a dosist pen online and accidentally purchased the disposable pen when I needed the cartridge. When I went back to my car and realIzed my mistake I came right back in. It was maybe 3 minutes after I purchased? Girl at the front said "yeah no problem come on in" Only for the manager to deny the return. The box was not tampered with, the sticker was still factory sealed, and with the time in between me leaving and coming back it was obvious this was a mistake on my end. They messed up my pick up order and couldn't do anything about it. I understand the law is an issue but there has to be something they can do to correct their wrong for loyal customers who spend a good amount of money at their business. I've had some bad bud tenders and front desk people who are just straight up rude and unwelcoming. This screw up was the last straw with this business for me and everyone I refer to them. The only people nice and enjoyable there are the security workers. You are better off buying at Speedy Weedy, EAZE or another dispensary. The prices are significantly cheaper. read more

In the two days I've been in San Diego I've visited 2 different dispensaries. This was my favorite!! I've never been exposed to a Moonrock before! My goodness! I'm so glad I got to try it here. The regular price of the moonrocks are $17.95. During 4/20 they were on sale for $7. I only picked up one, shame on me. I also purchased one of my favorite strains here as well, Blue Dream. If you are ordering from here make sure you read this. I called in and ordered, delivery of course. They said it would be 45 minutes, so I wait an hour and a half but no one showed. I called back and they said oh I forgot it'll be 45 minutes but we have a driver on standby so it'll be quick.... Uh. Lol Another hour and a half goes by and we called back again. The shop is closed, and no one even had the decency to call and let us know. Pro tip - fire that guy before you lose a hell of a lot more business. I am an established customer at Harbor Collective. On my last visit they forgot to give me the 10% Seniors discount which I asked for and always get. Unpacking I realized their mistake bur decided to ask for an additional 10% on the sum I spend. They claimed they were unable to do so; when reminded that they OVERCHARGED me the last time. I cautioned them that even though they were a new business they are still a legal business in California and therefore obligated to follow California's business regulations. After much lying and uneducated evasive statements by the sales person I finally succeeded in summoning the "manager" after informing them that this behaviour would definitely get a negative Yelp review. The "manager" stared at me in a hostile way, then proceeded to say: "Listen, I don't care how many f***** negative reviews you write on Yelp ...." I interrupted: "F*****???" "Yes, f*****", emphasizing the word, "leave and don't come back!" Unacceptable behaviour by a rude and hostile "manager". What does the owner have to say? read more

Not a fan at all. I drove from La Jolla to try out this place and I'm disappointed. I was so stoked to see they carried Stiizy because I wanted to buy one. However, I was told it's pretty easy to find Stiizy around San Diego but that's not true. I believe there's one place on Balboa but a friend said they don't carry it anymore. Needless to say a 1/2 normally last in my EVOD mod from Torrey Holistics but when I go the Stiizy it only lasted 2 weeks and I used it less than my normal usage. The Stiizy isn't worth the money at all in my option. It was also hard to get a pull each time. Unfortunately all sales are final plus I get I was misinformed when I asked about Stiizy vs PAX and being able to easily access the cartridges so this is the reason for my 1 star review. I wish I didn't waste my time and money coming to this place. I'll just stick to Torrey Holistics for now on. ‍ read more

Woman who helped me was very helpful, left with top shelf flower as intended and a nice pre-roll J. With that. Reasons I can't give this spot 5 stars below: - issue at register, employee left and came back with what I thought was the same pre-roll. Unfortunately didn't realize the new one was vanilla flavored... specifically asked for NON-flavored. So that was a $27 bummer. - charged $3 each for papers, filters and a lighter. Seems like no brainer marketing to idk throw a first timer a lighter on comp? Papers are free at a LOT of shops also. The pre-roll brand is Mericanna, it was plastic wrapped and everything - so shake your pre-roll, or open right away to check bc that's on them and not the store. Thanks! I bought a pre-roll and gummies, and was just soooooo looking forward to sparking this up after my shift ended tonight - like now at 3am, and to my shock and giant disappointment the package was empty!!! EMPTY?!? It had the plastic wrapping, but no joint inside :( damn shame because I really needed this guy tonight - driving drunk San Diego racist white people home ain't cute, but I've got to make that money. You can't miss this place once you spot the ships in dry dock and the giant cranes, in other words, easy access. There is some parking out front and I've never had a problem getting a space. There is a security guard who wands you prior to entry. He's always friendly, has a smile, and will exchange pleasantries with you. Upon entry you are in a small space with a window in which to place your driver's license. Once cleared, you are buzzed in to the business area. This too is small, compact, and product is pretty much is contained to two walls. To me, the available products and selections are enormous. If you want it, they most likely got it. The bud tenders are knowledgeable, friendly, and quite helpful. Ciao Claudia. For what I normally purchase, gummies and flower, are excellent. The icing on this cake is the prices. I am pleased at the quantity and quality of my purchases. They have a generous military/veteran discount which is greatly appreciated. This is ironic as I was initially hesitant to shop here fearing inflated prices due to the close proximity of the shipyard and Navy base. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was incorrect. I usually go to Golden Bloom but I figured I'd give this place a try. They carry the same brand cartridges, edibles and pre-packaged bud that the rest of these kind of dispensaries do. It's expensive but not any more so than anywhere else. They honored the first time discount when I mentioned it. The kid behind the counter was a bit of a twat though and didn't care to actually talk about any of the product I was happy enough to plonk down two hundred bucks for.
