My wife's rigatoni siciliano was far superior - a bit too oily but a nice mix of flavors for a robust dish. Kids meals were average but can't complain for $5 each incl drink. I come to this establishment at least 2 times a month and I have to say that I'm impressed each time. The food is amazing-the pasta, the pizza, the salads, the garlic knots, the panini's and the subs. I came here about 6 months ago with my parents on the way back to College Park from Baltimore's Inner Harbor. We stopped here for dinner and split a 16 inch "New York Style" pie. I found the slices to taste similiar to generic NY-style slices, but the crust was slightly thicker. The vibe was definitely that of a family-owned "red sauce joint." My dad didn't enjoy the pizza here, but he rarely enjoys pizza. (The last pizza he enjoyed was at Pizzaland in North Arlington, NJ, which I also found to be amazing). My mom found it to be slightly better than mediocre. Pizza is definitely NY style and delicious, but over priced. A bit greasy, so much so that the box is soaked. The garlic knots are nothing like I've ever had before and I'm glad. I was not a fan. It was cold and stale and had too many overpowering spices on it. It must've been a slow night because I picked up my order at 7pm and the knots were old. Went with the kids last night for dinner. This was our first visit and we will definitely be coming back. Staff was friendly, service was quick and the pizza was very good. We ordered a large half plain/half meat (Carnosa is what they call it) pie. I highly recommend the Carnosa pizza. Only complaint is that the soda fountain was only serving 2 different drinks. They tried to charge us $13 for Italian pesto angel hair, which was listed at $9.99 on the menu. When we complained, the girl at the casher was rude to us, telling us 3 dollars wasn't much different. It may not be for some people, but it's the principle of doing good business. It's shady practice to tell your customers "oh all our menu prices are old." We finally asked to see the manager to get this straightened out. No word of apology for their mistake nor the girl's rudeness. Food was ok, nothing exciting. The said Italian pesto came out cold! You have to second guess whether it was their way of paying back. I got the linguine with 'grilled' chicken and alfredo. The two kids working the counter were less than enthusiastic that I was in the restaurant and were much more concerned about getting back on their cell phones than even being cordial (I said, "Hi, how are you?" and they just looked at me, with no response). The pasta was cooked well and the sauce was decent, but that chicken ruined it for me. It tasted like they boiled the chicken and then stirred it into the sauce after it was cooked. Absolutely zero flavor. Also, it squeaked against my teeth and was gritty like it came pre-frozen. The thing that saved this place for me was this little side of bread that came with the meal. That is the sole reason I might go back to try the pizza, which has gotten such rave reviews. If the pizza crust is made as well as that bread, this could be a winner. Recently our orders have been wrong, missing items, taste free. This used to be a good place to go to get quality Italian food, but 3 out of the last 4 orders have been wrong once we got them home. Missing meatballs that you paid extra for, wrong pasta and sauce used in a create-your-own pasta dish, stale bread, etc. The only thing that has been consistently tasty and not given the wrong food is the arancini. We do really like their meatballs but that seems to be the main thing that they leave out of the dish when you order it. I've been a fan of Pazani for years. Love their thin crusts, the options they have for toppings and the "Gourmet Pizza" offerings. Earlier this week I ordered catering for a business event for 52 people. The delivery arrived on time and the delivery guy was friendly and helpful. I ordered an assortment of pies (16 extra large and two small gluten free in all), along with two full trays of salad, one Caesar and the other a house salad. All was well received with many compliments from the attendees. My only wish is for them to add caramelized onion as a topping choice. read more

We now only get take out from this place because the few times in the past year or so, I want to clean the walls..etc. My biggest issue with this establishment is how uncomfortable it is when the owner yells at the staff. Okay, let's be real... from the dining room alone I'd say this place falls in the dirty category. Straight up. If you want fine dining, forget about it. If you want candles, impeccable service, and a beautiful setting, you can forgot about it too. But if you want good Italian food that's on par with any dishes coming out of the kitchens in "Little Italy" then I got the perfect spot for you. Granted I've never eaten their notorious pizza but from the half a dozen times I've ordered from this strip mall dive, the food is always surprisingly good. The only thing I don't like is the salads you get with the meals. Sometimes I get brown lettuce and red onion that tastes like its been sitting in a fridge for a week too long. But besides that, someone in the kitchen of Pazani actually cares, and to a great deal, about the food that comes out of this tiny kitchen. All the meat lover pasta dishes are tasty. My favorite dish at the moment is the $17 Filet Mignon Portobello. It's a a butterflied Filet topped with spinach, mushrooms, peppers, gooey cheese and Marsala sauce. Granted its not the Prime Rib but its sure good enough to satisfy any meatlover's craving without destroying your wallet. With a side of potato and salad (substitute for a veggie), it's hard to find a better deal. Plus, it's never too crowded! read more

My family and I have been longtime customers of Pazani, and have patronized this business for everything from a quick slice of pizza to catering for parties for our family. We loved this place, but have noticed on our last few visits that things have been different. The service wasn't as good, the food wasn't as great, something was off. Turns out that the previous amazing owner (and the original proprietor) Tony sold the restaurant! We will continue coming here, because it appears that the new owners are attempting to maintain the same recipes, but things are not as good. For lunch today I went in with my children for the first time and we ordered pizza. Twice when my kids went to go re-fill their drinks they spilled and made a huge mess. The employee who was a very pretty girl with long light brown hair was extremely nice and very helpful. She cleaned it all up and did not make my son feel bad at all. She said it was no worry and she would take care of it. She was extremely friendly and very out-going. I have learned that customer service can make or break an experience and she totally made it!! 50 : 50 chance you will be given good food. First time the food was acceptable. The second time, we ordered pickup, we were told 20 minutes. I was there in 10, and to my surprise the pizza was already done. I bring it home, and the pizza was cold/dry, as if it had been sitting there for hours. It appears, the owner(the owner has an Italian accent and I could tell he was the one that answered the phone) decided to sell the customer one of their display "pizza by the slice" pizza,s that was not selling this day(Margarita). Ordered an Italian cold cut sub TOASTED. Served to me not toasted, returned sub to get toasted. Seemed to take longer than it should. When sub came back it had grill marks and was soggy and falling apart. You could tell they just put sub on grill to heat? Really? I think toasted means in an oven, this is not a panini sandwich. Told owner I wanted money back which he did return, but no apology. He did not care. Just ignored us.
