He's very patient in explaining what a water expansion tank was and the difference between a water heater tank versus tankless. My family ended up choosing the tank version which come with a 6 year warranty and 1 year warranty for the labor. There are various pricing for various packages and we picked the one that was within our budget. He even gave us a senior discount for my elderly parents which is a bonus. Let me tell you this guy was superb. He was very professional and fun to chat with. Got everything installed and cleaned up within a few hours. Definitely a 10 star job well done. What amazes me is that his van has everything and is well stocked. So we were able to get the job done same day. What a relief! Our water heater started leaking three days ago, and we made an appointment with Payless for the first time. It was a no-show. When rechecking the automated text, whoever spoke to my dad had put 4-6 AM instead of 4-6 PM, which was the agreed-upon time. By 6 PM, we gave them a call, and they told us Oopsie, and no one is around at this time to help us. WTF! I got a call from the company offerring a mainanence on our tankless waterheater. Since the waterheater is 6 years old I agreed. A technician came tried to do mainenace and fried the motherboard. He didn't know what to do. He broke our water heater and left us without hot water. I paid for the mainenace. The next day another technician came and blamed everyhing on a leak! Now they need to do more repairs and parts replacement charging much more ! The initial installation was also a problem. Another plumber noticed that the pipe did't have enough tilt that can cause a potential leak. Sure enough. Now I am blamed for what was installed incorrectly at the first place and now it became my problem that the technician fried the motherboard! Is it a scam to get more money? We had no problems with the unit before they started messing with it. I regret I belived them and agreed to do the work...
