I was helped by Crystal. What a great representative to have for your company. Crystal had a way of tending to my specific needs that made me feel so valued as a customer. We signed up for Avis Preferred through our credit card. After standing in line for 45 minutes at the Avis Preferred counter and having the reservation visible on our Avis Preferred account, we were told we were first time renters they wouldn't let us rent through the Avis Preferred Counter. We then had to go back upstairs to the other counter where we proceeded to have to wait in line for over an hour to get a car. Meanwhile if I looked around at National, Enterprise, or Hertz and all of those counters had no lines at them. I would never ever, ever rent from them.

She calmly took note of our flight details and gave us clear directions for when we arrive. We kept in touch three more times and was appreciative for the communication between the both of us. Not once was she annoyed or dismissive. She was pleasant, professional, and welcoming upon arrival. Returning the car was a bit confusing, we parked in our spot and was looking for the Hertz rep. Didn't get her name but she was annoyed me didn't speak to her first before parking. Overall, I would absolutely rent from Hertz at Knoxville Airport again.

We waited in line for a few minutes while another customer was being helped. We were called up, made small chat with the customer rep that assisted us, he was pretty nice and helpful. He gave us directions on how to find the car in the lot and I told us exactly what to do to return it. He was amazing, great customer service. Had no issues with the rental while we had it. We returned it today without any issues, it literally took 5 minutes to return and check it in. The staff located in the parking lot were very helpful and guided us to where to go to park it. We were very pleased with the car and service, and will most definitely use this company again in the future.

I was greeted with a smile and when I told the representative that I was there in January, I got a bigger smile and a 'welcome back'. This time I was given a while Chrysler 300 - then my smile got big. The cars at this location are very well maintained and clean!! A big PLUS!! The pickup process is smooth and they try their best to make everyone RIDES away with a smile. The drop off process is a breeze, you pull up, park, get your receipt and get a 'have a safe trip'. I have been renting at this location for over 6 years. They have been getting better and better…read moreover time. They just performed a major upgrade to their service. They seem to have more vehicles to choose from and as always the staff is top notch. I also rent from National all over the US. My only major complaint with National over all is the little things that keep happening with my rentals. Examples: no washer fluid (several times), fuel not full, charged for fuel when tank was returned full (several times), very long wait time for shuttle buses (Sacramento CA is the worst), expired tags on vehicles. For this location, I wish they just had the Executive Selection. Even if they don't, I should be able to upgrade from full size to SUV without being charged extra as an Executive member. I also like the reward program. I can rent any class of vehicle with my reward points.

We were pretty upset about that. However what turned our review around was the handsome red-bearded gentleman (quite muscular with tattoos but never got his name) that provided our checkout. He was super friendly and bubbly and asked us how our transaction was. We relented and told him of our check in experience and he offered to take some money off the bill. To our surprise he did just that and would recommend going back again if not for the airport charge that the enterprise at the airport, in fact does not charge.

The location is a little tight in one section of the garage, but that allows it to be right across from the terminal, not a tram ride away. The kiosk is sort of plunked down in an odd area but they make it all work. Did not get pressured for upsells, told any doom and gloom stories about using my own insurance. Did not get put into a significantly larger SUV than I ordered ( which has happened), which would have been most undesirable on some of the zero shoulder mountain roads.

They had entered an incorrect check out time by an hour which incurred an extra charge. Otherwise the vehicle, a Toyota Camry hybrid, that I was rented to me was fantastic as it was very fuel efficient.

People all grumpy and pissed had to either yield to the person next to them or get into an argument and stand their ground to go first. Then one of the two attendants working decided she would only help budget preferred members making the wait even longer and the line was all the way to the rental kiosk across the way, the only line in the whole parking lot. All the other rental kiosks were much more efficient. When we got in the car we had a low air tire warning. The attendant said to call the number and offered no assistance as he "didn't have a computer". We had to fill the tire numerous times and by the 3rd of 5th day we had it, my husband called the call center in India to work on compensation. A month and a half later we just received a bill for $71 accusing us of causing an issue with the tire and billing us for the exact same issue we documented and complained about at pickup, and told the call center about. Incompetent doesn't begin to describe this place. Go elsewhere

**5 Stars - A Great Example of Customer-Centered Service**…read more I recently rented a Jeep Wrangler from Enterprise in Knoxville, and the experience reminded me why I continue to choose this company. I was running behind on my way to the airport and didn't have time to refill the gas tank--I'd used about a quarter of a tank and figured I'd take the hit rather than risk missing my flight. When I returned the car, I was greeted by a polite, college-aged representative who asked how everything went. I told him it had been great. He then kindly asked, "You didn't have a chance to refill the vehicle?" I explained I'd simply run out of time. Without hesitation, he replied, "Well, let me remove this charge for you. I'd hate to have your experience with us end on a negative." He took the initiative to waive the refueling fee (about \$27), and while the money was appreciated, what stood out even more was the attitude. I was genuinely impressed that Enterprise empowers their employees to make thoughtful, customer-friendly decisions like this. To that young man--thank you. And to Enterprise--bravo for running a company that leads with logic, care, and trust in your people. This small gesture went a long way in reaffirming my loyalty. I'll be back.
