The year was 2025 and I was feeling finer than 20 mother flowering dimes. Just kidding. I called and asked if they were able to cash a settlement check that I had received because I was disrespected at Walmart. A class action one so I thought this place was going to be packed because everybody gets disrespected at Walmart, you feel me? Anyway, they close around 8:00 p.m. if I remember correctly. I called at 7:30 or so and asked if they would be able to help me out with my big baller check. They said sure and asked how much it was. That's when I got nervous. A lot of people and or check cashing spots aren't used to people that handle this amount of money like myself. I let her know that it was about $21 and change and she said oh okay yeah come on in. The relief I felt was similar to the time I left the Jerry Springer show studio after finding out that the baby was my best friends instead of mine. That is probably one of the best moments of my life. Anyway, going back to the phone call. I was greeted with the angelic welcoming warm voice of a young lady named Maria. She told me her name and I thought it was talking to Aaliyah. She really rocked the boat when she told me that the check amount wasn't anything but a number I'm just kidding none of that happened but she was very professional and welcoming over the phone. So I showed up 45 seconds later drunk as hell jk again but yeah it was the smoothest a check cashing transaction has ever went. She was fast friendly and professional. I would say more but I'll just say that the customer service was exceptional. Maria was the best and she's a dodger fan so extra brownie points for her. I love you, Maria! read more

My review is based on the what I experienced 2 times when I came to this location. The "Manager" Jennifer was being extremely rude to an older lady (customer) talking to her in a very degrading manner. I couldn't believe this "manager" thought it was ok to be so rude. The second time I came in I was with one of the tellers and she very rudely interrupted her and talked to her with great disrespect! I couldn't believe what I was hearing!! I felt so bad for the teller. I honestly think this company needs to really look into this lady Jennifer because from what I'm reading I am not the first person to witness her actions. A million thumbs up to this place. Most pay day loans closes at around 630pm but his one is open M-F from 9am-8pm. Saturday from 9am-6pm and is even open on Sundays from 10am-3pm. It has been a while since i needed to go to a payday loan center but i must say from the past ones i went to this is far the best in terms of costumer service. Nancy was the one who helped me out, very friendly and professional. I had all my requirements except for the bank statement and i was glad to hear they were able to check online in a secure manner( they sent me a text link to get access to print out my statement-other payday loan centers would need the paper statement which i had no way of printing right then and there). I was telling Nancy before i came here i went to another payday loan center but i came about 15 min before closing and they did not want to accommodate me, Nancy had said payday center would not turn a costumer away even if i was there 1 min before closing. (Now don't go 1 min before closing every time these hardworking people need to go home too!) i am just saying they are very accommodating and i appreciate them for that read more

I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with Payday at all. For my first time walking into this place , I was given very bad customer service. Customer service with an attitude. Jennifer so called herself the Manager, which she did not carry herself as professional as a Manager should! My boyfriend walked in asking for a money order which he couldn't get for me because he owed money. So I walked in ready with my ID and money to be able to make my money order for myself, I was refused the service because I knew and had a relationship with my boyfriend. This is bizarre, I never heard of any company refusing service because you knew someone who owed them money. WHT does that have to do with me.?
