Waisted my time. Horrible experience with Daniela. I would not recommend LoanCenter. Their practices/policies are fraudulent as well.

    Ask the Community - LoanCenter

What would the payment be for a loan of $5500, and what would be the fee for adding yourself as lien holder and the admin fee? I believe the max you are allowed to charge in CA is 36% is that correct?

Hi Jose, The monthly payment depends on the amount, term, and APR of your loan. For example, a 36 month $5,500 loan with an APR of 36.00% would have monthly payments of $251.92.

Does LoanCenter offer 36% interest rate a year like how the new law requires in California for refinances?

Hello Jorge - Yes, we refinance title loans in California. We are licensed by the California Department of Business Oversight and adhere to CFL regulations.

They speak professionally in a "back handed compliment kinda of way". I read someone indicating this place has "terrible customer services" - well, its that persons own fault - they sould have done their homework and knew EXACTLY what they wanted before coming in. (the people who work here are not paid enuf to give a damn. ) And be ready for EVERYTHING TO TAKE FOREVER. No one working here has a sense of time or ugency. But I do like the little robot dude

I was approved for the loan with little explanation or info on what to do next. I went home only to realize that the terms and conditions for the loan had a gray area condition that might not even work for my situation (something that could've been made clear upon receiving approval). Not that big of a deal.. I then attempted to call not only the loan officer himself, but the branch, as well as the company's main office line to no avail. I go back later the same day to see the same loan officer walking around freely, chatting happily with co workers (even though I was told over the phone that they were all unavailable or with customers). We speak again and I get a vague answer from Tony about the discrepancy, but this time I'm told they have to "wait for approval from the back office". This was all on a Friday, so I was aware that there would be a longer than usual delay over the weekend to get that answer. Come Monday, I receive nothing (by 1PM). I try and call all 3 lines again, nothing. I decide to go back in for a 3rd time and this time I spoke with a different loan officer (after requesting to speak with a manager and waiting 30 minutes), and he basically told me the same thing, that they were "working on it". I was told I would for sure get the answer I needed by the end of day, "maybe even sooner". That was at 2PM. Next thing you know it's 5PM (they're closed) and I've still received 0 updates or answers to my simple question regarding the loan. Now it's Tuesday (12PM) and I call again, just to be told by a main office worker that he "couldn't get ahold of anyone, but someone from the branch would give me a call by end of day". Based on my experience so far, I HIGHLY doubt that's gonna happen, and I'm tired of going in and waiting 30+ minutes for the same answers with no progress whatsoever. This whole ordeal has been a major waste of my time to say the least. This place has managed to turn something so simple into a major headache of mine. I'm having a really bad experience with this company so far. I would certainly not recommend.

I have never found or received a running balance of my account and called to receive one since the total balance was paid down to $3000.00, now today, I checked my account, as I was doing some card changes for payment method, and came to a surprise. My balance has gone back up to over $3500.00. End of the loan and my interest grows to over $500 in a month? This would never be paid. Are these fees, tax, anything that could be legit? Nope, and when you call, all they want to do is point out your balance, or how to make a payment, no customer service, agent would not listen and continually interrupt. I literally had to ask if this person knew what a running balance is. More and more companies are doing this, not giving access to all information required by law hoping we are ignorant while they add fees, interest, and raise balances hoping the consumer does not inquire. Again, I have never been late, and always pay more, So where and why are you so corrupt? BBB and feds need to get involved.

I almost lost my hope to find the car with the features I wanted for a reasonable price. But thanks to Edward and his amazing brokerage experience I ended up even with a better option. They were also nice enough to keep my previous car at their parking lot over the weekend before I came back on Monday to turn it in to a dealership. On top of that they put their best effort and kindly attached a number plate to my front bumper using their own instruments saving me a trip to a dealership where it should have been done from the get go. Dennis Buys Classic Cars isn't just a dealership -- it's a time machine parked on Venice Boulevard. You'll see a rotating cast of American icons lined up like they're waiting for a casting call: Mustangs, Chevelles, GTOs, the occasional Corvette looking smug in the corner. I stopped in to take a peek at a Camaro, but it was already gone -- proof that around here, blink once and history drives off without you. Still, the staff were friendly, the lot spotless, and every car looked like it had just rolled out of a 1970s postcard. Venice Boulevard has been part of L.A.'s motoring heartbeat since the early days of the Route 66 era, when every block had a garage or gas station and every mechanic thought he was tuning a car for Steve McQueen. Dennis keeps that spirit alive -- no gimmicks, no soulless SUVs, just old-school machines with character, grease, and stories baked into the metal. Dennis Buys Classic Cars is pure Los Angeles gold -- a dealership that feels more like a museum you can actually drive home from. The Camaro slipped away this time, but that's okay. I'll be back... because places like this remind you why you fell in love with cars in the first place. You don't test-drive here, you time-travel.

Dennis' response was "sorry, but we can't check the cars." That was just start of problems. Turns out, both the horn and the windshield wipers didn't work. It's a state law that they work but that didn't stop them from selling the car. I guess rules don't matter to them. To their credit, they did fix the problem but it took 6 months. I live in Ventura County. They are in Culver City. It's 1.5 hours one way. It took me 6 trips to finally get everything fixed. That's 3 hours plus the time I waited while they didn't fix the problem. Dennis told me "I'll take care of it for you. I'll get you some compensation." Well, Dennis figured that my 30 hours of time and gas was worth - wait for it - $100. Deduct the $70 in gas that I paid and Dennis thought $1 an hour was worth my time. But wait, there's more. I never got the money. They said the "check is in the mail." That was over a month ago. Do yourself a favor and find a classic car somewhere else.
